EXPLODED VIEW DISASSEMBLY
WARNING!
• Use hammer disassembly bench.
• Do not apply heat to any component
• Use wrenches in good condition
Wear Sleeve • Apply wrench over bit Steel
Backhead
• Apply clamps on recommended areas
DISASSEMBLY SEQUENCE
O’Ring 1 Disassemble the hammer 5 Remove the check valve
on the bit side dart, spring, make up
Check ring shims, air distributor,
2 Extract the Driver sub, Bit
Valve Dart compression disk, o’ring,
retainer and bit
Spring 3 Rotate and loosen the choke, air guide, o’ring
Make Up hammer at the backhead and cylinder, Regulator, air
Ring Shims side guide, cylinder and piston
4. Remove the Backhead and 6 Remove the piston
Air Distributor remove its O’ring
