Relevancy of the Materials:

The 1987 Constitution of the Philippines provides us several provisions as a
guide in determining and knowing the limitations of religious freedom which
embodies the Doctrine of “free exercise” an d “non-establishment” clauses.
Basing the research on the decided cases of the Supreme Court gives us the idea
in applying or construing the statute provided for or in cognizance of the
provisions enacted and promulgated by the Legislature. It enlightens the mind
of the researcher to fully understand the topic.
Secondary sources are of great place to begin a research. Secondary sources
often explain legal principles more thoroughly than a single case or statute, so
using them can help the researcher to save time. The books inquired also help
the researcher to avoid unnecessary research, since it is a broader explanation of
the topic which is discussed and expounded by the author of the book regarded
as one of the researcher’s references. The web-page sources also provides a more
elaborated discussion on the topic wherein the researcher wants to reach-out to
