A fifth year civil engineering student is requesting permission to enroll in 19 units of courses including a 216-hour apprenticeship that was unable to be completed over the summer due to COVID-19. These courses are required to complete his degree but exceed the normal course load. Greetings of peace and prosperity!

I, a fifth year student taking up Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University
of Southern Mindanao, Kabacan, North Cotabato. The course curriculum requires the
aforementioned to have 216–hour apprenticeship or civil works training that aims to
complement the concepts and theories that he have learned, to the development of his
full potential through exposure to the actual field work. This is supposed to be taken
during summer but due to COVID 19, he was not able to take it on the given time frame.

Furthermore, the undersigned is requesting your good office to allow him to enroll the
following subjects together with the Apprenticeship (CENG 427, 4 units):

CENG Elec 3 Prestressed Concrete Design--------------------------------3 units


CENG 525 Civil Engineering Special Topics--------------------------------3 units
CENG 522 Construction Engineering & Project Management ------- 4 units
CENG 500A Undergraduate Thesis 1----------------------------------------3 units

CENG Elec 4 Sanitary Engineering-------------------------------------------3 units
