KEY DEFINITIONS
For Connection Setup go to CloudSync Admin App
1. DEST-ORG Connection - Connection between the Source &
Destination
a. Able to create multiple DEST-ORG Connections.
For Data Migration Go to CloudSync-M App
1. Click on Data Migration Workbench
2. Select Category – Select the application category/template
folder
3. Select Template - Data migration configuration information.
a. Include Query Configuration (One Parent Object & Multiple
Child Object)
b. Select Migration Type
a. Insert – Is recommended for the first time Insert
i. Parent - Childs data migration (Ex:
Accounts with multiple Contacts &
Opportunities)
ii. Include record’s Lookup data.
b. Upsert – Is recommended for Upsert operation
(Updates existing records in destination)
c. Select Destination – Select the destination type.
d. Batch Size – default size is 10 which is editable.
e. SOQL - Actual Queries to migrate the records.

INSTALLATION GUIDE
Install CLOUDSYNC:
1. Go to the AppExchange
2. Search for our app - “CLOUDSYNC”
3. Open the app and Click on the “Get It Now” button
4. Login to your Salesforce instance and Click on Contact me
button.
5. You will receive an immediate confirmation email with the Link to
install CLOUDSYNC.
6. You can now CLOUDSYNC install on your SFDC production
environment, or any types of sandboxes.
7. You will receive an email confirmation after the installation is
successful.
8. You are now ready to use CLOUDSYNC.
Configuring DEST-ORG Connection:
1. Pick your Source and Destination SFDC instances.
2. You will need to create an DEST-ORG Connection in the Source
SFDC instance to connect to in the Destination SFDC instance.
3. Enter All the Credentials. Please enter the destination org details.
4. Click on Save
5. To check whether the Success or Failure of the connection, open
the DEST-ORG Connection and click on Test Connection.
6. You will get a Success message when the connection is made.
Create a DEST-ORG Connection in the Source SFDC Instance:
1. In the Source SFDC instance, Navigate to CloudSync Admin and
click on the CloudSync DEST-ORG Connection tab.
2. Click on New Connection Button.
1. Fill in all the fields.
a. Enter a new ORG Name.
b. Select the appropriate ORG Type.
c. Enter a valid DEST Username from the Destination SFDC
instance.
d. Enter the DEST Password.
e. Enter the DEST Security Token.
f. Enter Daily API Usage Limit % Ex: (80%)
g. Enter the DEST ORG ID
3. Click On Save
4. Click on Test Connection
5. Check the Result
