1 Describe “acceptable” work habits.
Acceptable work habits relate to the professional way we portray ourselves at work. This can
be being punctual, respectful to everyone, communicating effectively, being productive and
consistent, being prepared and avoiding gossips.
2 Do you accept constructive criticism from employers, supervisors, or other
employees? Give an example.
Yes, I do accept constructive criticism from my employers and co-workers.
For example, my supervisor at Answering Service Care used to screen my
calls, and I had to listen to her instructions and make necessary adjustments to
how I communicated with my callers, which did help to make communication
with the clients better.
3 Describe “acceptable” health and good hygiene habits.
Acceptable health and good hygiene habits deals with eating right, exercising and keeping
ourselves and our surroundings clean. This may include sticking to a healthy diet, engaging
in physical activities daily or a couple times per week, having a daily bath, washing our hair,
changing into clean clothes, sticking to our medical and dental appointments, and keeping
our surroundings clean.
4 How would you make an “appropriate” job change?
I would write a letter of resignation outlining why I am changing my job, the date I will be
leaving, and thanking them for the opportunity of working there.

5 Tell me about yourself.
I am a person who understands the importance of work. I take my job seriously and I am
always looking to improve my skills and qualifications so that I can work to the highest
standard possible. I have excellent written and verbal communication skills and understand
how important it is to deliver good customer service through years of experience. I do hope I
am successful today so that I can add my experience and positive qualities to your team.
6 What are your future plans and career goals?
My future plans are: to become good at my job, be accepted by my team and managers and
also enjoy my work as much as possible. My career goal is to become an expert in the field.
7 Do/Did you enjoy school?
Yes, I did enjoyed school. I had the privilege of learning not only theoretical, but also
practical lessons that is essential in the medical administrative field.
8 Do you think your schooling helped you? If so, how?
Yes. The Medical Administrative Specialist course helped me to gain proficiency in areas
that was unknown to me; such as, Basic Pharmacology, Medical Billing and Insurance, ICD
10 and CPT coding.
9 What courses do/did you like the best? The least? Why?
I liked the medical billing and medical insurance courses because I learned how to
manipulate theses skills which is very relevant in the medical administrative field.
I did not like Basic Pharmacology because it came with so many codes, but I saw how it
relate to the course so I gave it my best shot.
10 What is/was your attendance record?
My attendance record was excellent. I attended classes on time every school day.
11 Why did you leave your last job?
I left my last job because I got a private care that was paying much better than the agency to
which I was employed.
12 What are your strengths? Why?
My strength is paying attention to detail. In my jobs as a customer service representative and
a front desk receptionist/ staff coordinator, I have had to be organized, thorough and
accurate. I also had to pay special attention to detail when I was a teacher.

I like to ask questions to double check on things that I may not be too sure about to make
sure that I get the facts right.

I am just looking to start at an entry level position. May I ask what is your entry level salary?

Both are important to me. Money is essential because we have to pay our bills and
buy food, but equally important is helping others because it makes us feel good
about ourselves and benefits the person we are helping.

I like to watch a good action movie or an interesting drama series.

Even though I have worked by myself, I prefer to work with others. I like being on a team.

It doesn’t matter; if that is what I have to do, it would not be a problem, if not I am still ok
with it.

A good worker is one who has a positive approach towards his/her job. One who is reliable,
respectful, has good time management skills, and values the company’s business/clients.
