Cartooning Caricatures Grade 7 Lesson 3 Class 1

This lesson plan outlines a 75 minute art class where students will learn about caricatures by creating caricature drawings of themselves, with the teacher first demonstrating how to exaggerate facial features and then providing guidance as students practice drawing their own caricatures, aiming to illustrate likeness and neatness in their final self-portrait caricatures. The lesson will focus on teaching students how to draw characteristics of a caricature and give them an opportunity to represent themselves through exaggeration.
