Being Intentional
● It’s okay to not be okay, we are not always fine. Information and
circumstances are ever changing. This can be hard!
● Break the routine of everyday life, take a moment to be
intentional
● Stop, look, and listen
● Validate the feelings you hear, remember that all feelings are ok
● Model how to communicate your feelings and how you cope
with them
Grace: Courteous Goodwill
● Getting by and getting through stronger and connected

● Having grace with ourselves and our families’

relationships

● Be willing to adjust for realistic expectations, forgive

moments of lapse in good behavior or mistakes

● Be supportive of what each family member needs in the

moment
Connecting to Nature
Spending just 20 minutes a day outside can lower your stress hormones!

● Allowing yourself to experience the range of emotions you may be
feeling
● Practicing mindfulness
