Overview
Because 4035/4037 sets are in phase out, there is no more hard-phone for
attendants
A solution based on IP Touch is proposed
Attendant on IP Touch is a 4068 set which works as an attendant and support
PRS applications
Attendant on IP Touch can have up to three AOMEL 14 keys

Basic Description
The home bar displays date, time, day/night mode, ringing mode and headset
mode
It can also shows normal and urgent waiting call counter alternatively

Basic Description
There are four tabs for the home page: Menu Page, Perso Page, Next Page and
Routing and Hold Page (or Camp On Page)
The next call page is the default page
When there is a call, telephonic screen is shown
Perso Page and AOMEL
z Programmable keys can be defined on the perso page or using the AOMEL
keys
There are two types of icons for Perso Page and AOMEL
Auto answer and auto transfer can be activated or deactivated with a key

Examples of icons
Individual hold:
Any type of trunk circuit can be put on ordinary hold using an individual hold key
Individual call extension supervision:
An extension number can be associated to a key (the extension must be in the same node than the
attendant console).

The Common Hold Key (General hold) is a Call Presentation Key (PCOT)
Camp On page displays maximum 8 calls
Routing and Hold page displays maximum 8 routing calls and 3 hold calls

Telephonic Soft Keys
The following soft keys should be shown:
z Release, Cancel, Ring, Broker, Transfer, Hold

Supplementary Telephonic Facilities:
When it is in telephonic mode, the soft keys offer different services depending of the call's structure
and its status. Those are:
- doing call waiting (Camp on and Camp on off).
- doing an intrusion (Intrude and Intrude off),
- calling an extension which uses the immediate forwarding mode for its calls (Override),
- calling an extension which uses the forward on no response mode for its calls (Follow fwd),
- forwarding the call to an other attendant or group of attendants (Forward ope),
- putting a call in a meet me conference (Meet me conf),
- doing a chained call (Chained),
- putting a call on release control (Announce),
- sending a callback request (Call Back),
- activating the DTMF transparency (DTMF on and DTMF off),
- sending a flash pulse in DTMF transparency (Flash),
- cancelling the call back request from a set (Delete).
-cancel auto transfer temporarily (Transfer off).
- start and stop a 3 party conference (Conference and End conf).
The available services are allocated in this order to the soft keys.

Miscellaneous
CPU Switchover
z In case of CPU switchover, if Attendant is in communication or ringing or
other applications like guiding, CBN, the call will end
z After switchover, attendant is in idle state
PRS Applications
z External applications are available only when PRS is up and alive
z If an incoming call is arriving during external application activation, alarm
led will blink. User can quit application then answer this call
Attendant on IP touch is compatible with encryption feature
There is no specific software lock for attendant on IP touch

Only 4068 and 4068EE can be used as attendant on IP touch on R9.1
No SIP survivability for Attendant on IP touch
