SAVE LIVES AND PROPERTIES- This is the mantra of our organization- The
Bureau of Fire Protection. This is indeed and is always been true since it is the
perfect time to inculcate and raise awareness about the causes, hazards and
dangers of fire.
Today is the start of Fire Prevention Month with the theme, “Sa Sunog hindi ka
Nag-iisa.” This is very timely since during this month, fire departments provide
education to communities, and encourage every citizen to be involved and
practice fire safety and whole home safety.
It is also in this month where fire incidents increase due to the peak level of
humidity and temperature becomes highly sensible. “ Kung gusto natin maging
ligtas, kailangan natin makiisa.” Lagi nating isaisip na dapat araw-araw ay Fire
Prevention.
Even if we are still in the midst of pandemic, let us all be fire-safety conscious
at all times and make every day a fire prevention day. Let us always bear in
mind the tips given to us by firefighters and volunteers. Napakalungkot isipin
na may Makita kami na nasusunugan. Napakabigat sa dibdib kung may
madamay ng buhay ng dahil sa sunog. Kaya dito sa fire prevention, marami
tayong dapat gawin at dapat matutunan. Kaya makilahok tayo, makialam!
I would also like to take this opportunity to give a snappy salute to our
FIREFIGHTERS and VOLUNTEERS who passionately continue to ensure the
safety of the whole communities not only from the dangers of fire but also from
different calamities. YOU have shown the true meaning of commitment and
service to public safety and welfare. Indeed, YOU are really our modern-day
HEROES.
Let us always remember, SAFETY starts with ME with US. Let us always take
ACTION to PREPARE.
Maraming Salamat po sainyong patuloy na pagsuporta sa Bureau of Fire
Protection!
