I. COMPLETE THE SENTENCES WITH THE PRESENT PERFECT.
1. He has WORKED all day long. (work)

PRESENT PERFECT TENSE
We use the present perfect:
1. When we want to talk about unfinished actions that started in
the Past and continue into the present. We use “for” OR
“since”.
EX: She´s lived in London for three years.
I´ve worked here for six months.
I´ve known Alfred since 1994.
I´ve liked chocolate since I was a child.

She´s been here since 2pm.
2. Use “ever” for questions and “never” for negative sentences.
EX: A: Have you ever been to England?
B: No, I haven´t. I have never been to England.
C: Has she ever met the Prime Minister?
D: No, She hasn´t. She has never met him.
3. Use “Already” in affirmative sentences to indicate that
something
Happened before the momento of speaking.
EX: I have already finished the report.
We have already seen that movie.
4. Use “Yet” in interrogative sentences.
EX: Have you finished the report yet?
Have you eaten yet?
5. Use “Yet” in negative sentences to express that something that
is
Expected has not yet happened.
EX: She hasn´t finished the report yet.
They haven´t called yet.
6. “Just” is usually used to express a completed action.
