Welcome to our Culmination Program on LITERACY INSTRUCTION . Literacy is most
commonly defined as the ability to read and write. But beyond the functional level, literacy plays a
vital role in transforming students into socially engaged citizens. Being able to read and write
means being able to keep up with current events, communicate effectively, and understand the
issues that are shaping our world. because of this program teachers quickly taught their students
how to read and write. Because of the Lac sessions that we have the teachers shared how they can
work together so that the children still have something to learn even in the middle of the

hilarious laughs, melodious songs sang by our very own teachers and others so to speak.
And now, we have to end of that journey. However, this only marks the end of your
literacy Instruction program, not the knowledge and practice in using the instructions
tecniquies which should be carried on and enhance further.

Rose, let me leave you with this wisdom from Brad Gerrard ,” Believe in yourself, be
strong, never give up no matter what the circumstances are. You are a champion and will
overcome the dreaded obstacles. Champions take failure as a learning opportunity, so
take in all you can, and run with it. Be your best and don’t ever give up.”
Mabuhay tayong lahat!
