Power Electronics Course Overview

This 3 credit course introduces students to power electronics. The course objectives are to understand semiconductor power devices, power converters for AC-DC, DC-DC and DC-AC conversion, and applications of power electronics. Students will be assessed through a 60% end semester exam and 40% continuous evaluation.
