Introduction of the Summer Internship Project
Younity, India’s largest Digital Student Community aims to build a team that can work
together, learn together, it is an online learning platform which lay outs various distinct
academic and non- academic courses, time management sessions and personality development
programmes.
My summer internship project included market research analysis, lead and revenue generation
for the firm. The company conduct various sessions, webinars on several courses to choose
from and provide different programmes for students. The roles and responsibilities given to
me were as follows:
• To analyse the market for various lucrative and upcoming courses
• Study collection for the firm (B2C, B2B)
• Collaborations with Professors and industry experts
• Analysing competitions
• Analysing market prospects as a part of business development intern
• Lead generation for the firm
• Building sustainable revenue system
• Spreading community across your network
• Introducing new courses and mentors from various sectors of the economy
Background of the Summer Internship Project
The community belongs to lifelong learners from diverse backgrounds and
various parts of the country who have found their safe space at Younity. Our members,
'Younity', learn to deal and gain insights on how to adapt with different people, mindsets and
demanding situations in life.
Younity is a family, which helps you become a better version and outgrow yourself. It is the
perfect platform to help you tap opportunities to discover yourself, gain in-demand skills with
hands-on work experience and build networks through daily sessions that boost your
confidence and eliminate your fears.
Younity believes learning is a source of human progress, it is a pan India community with
more than 17,000 members which provides an online learning platform imparting practical
knowledge. Younity provides various webinars on soft skills, hard skills, personal and
technical interview and internship opportunities.
The company provides students an education platform beyond the limitations of classrooms,
focusing on hard skills of the individual. We have collaborated with various prestigious
institutions in major cities like Delhi University, Mumbai University and NMIMS.
My project included developing partnerships with industrial expert, experienced mentors and
finally making connections.
Moreover, I was specifically a part of the Annual Community Membership which mostly

The membership further provides personality development sessions ranging from CV
development and LinkedIn profile development. Once the development phase gets
completed, we provide 3 rounds personal interviews, sessions on time management,
career counselling and group discussion training. The programme specifically
designed to gain insights and have exposure of the professional world.
Objectives of the Summer Internship Project
The goal of undertaking this summer internship project was to give us adequate exposure in
practical workings of businesses and industries so we could become more acquainted with
how the corporate world functions. I got the opportunity to perform certain organisational
tasks and activities at Younity , the experience of which would surely come in handy when I
start pursuing my professional career. We live in an era which keeps evolving especially when
it comes to digital platforms, with different and creative ways for approaching the customer is
popping up every day, it is important to create a significant digital footprint to survive.
Digital transition is mainly about various operations, people, and about new business-related
fields. Knowledge of what digital means to a particular firm is crucial to take the correct
decisions.
Meanwhile, the end objective to be kept in mind regarding digital transition of business is the
ability to act on changing terms and condition & various methods to evolve & succeed.
Digital transformation must include a tech system which is able to collect, analyse & report
data & react in response if needed. The ability to respond is important to optimize digital
operations & requires various tools and techs I was introduced to the concept of Customer
Relationship Management (CRM) for which the internship focused on E-mail marketing.
Objective Set by the Company for Intern-

Methodology of the Summer Internship Project
• The methodology used by Younity and practised by us in the internship project was
contacting relevant speakers like professors and industry specialists by contacting
them mainly from LinkedIn or using their emails.
• We are also required to analyse the market for courses which cultivates soft skills,
hard skills and interpersonal skills in students. Since I was in the business
development department, I was responsible for reaching out to people with relevant
backgrounds. We were also required to generate revenue by contacting from our warm
circles such as close friends and families and creating awareness regarding our
platform.
• Continuous evaluation in looking into the business development department
throughout the internship period Online research as well as practical application of
organic growth tips on specific platforms- Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn would
be done to find the best fit for our niche. This was a crucial step towards
understanding the competition in the digital world.
• Digital outreach was a crucial part of my internship as it involved generating leads for
the company. This work was done by evaluating various platforms like LinkedIn and
indeed, searching for contact details of potential customers as well as various HRs
from different reputed organization. I was using the feature of LinkedIn to search for
genuine prospective clients as well as prospective candidates for Talent Acquisition.
Based on my research I segregated clients according to sector and domain while
candidates were segregated according to their experience, educational background /
certification and area of job interest and sent the detailed excel sheet to the company
who will be taking the discussion forward with respective prospects
RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS
• After intensive analysis of various digital platform, it was time to choose the one
which best suits the interest of the company for developing partnerships. LinkedIn,
though it is the most expensive social media platform to advertise on, it fulfils all
needs of the company in terms of variety of candidates as well as reputed working
professionals from different companies and parts of the world meanwhile majority of
the audience on LinkedIn is serious towards career.
• India’s EdTech industry is poised to become $30 billion in size in the next 10 years,
according to a report released on Wednesday by transaction advisory firm RBSA
Advisors.
• Education technology (EdTech) solutions are expected to evolve in line with the
advances in the latest technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial
Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR), and contribute
significantly to the market growth. The integration of AR and VR in EdTech solutions
helps offer an interactive experience to the learners. It allows learners to explore and
seamlessly connect with abstract concepts, and subsequently driving student
engagement. On the other hand, the integration of blockchain technology allows end-
users to store and secure records of students and learners, thereby enabling educators
to analyse the consumption patterns of the material offered to the learners and make
data-driven decisions.
• Enhancing student engagement is emerging as a prime concern for educators. Hence,
market players respond to such concerns by introducing advanced interactive
whiteboards and shifting from projector-based displays to touchscreen
displays. Furthermore, both educators and learners can access Student Information
Systems (SIS) with a primary focus to generate comprehensive student profiles that
can enable educators to make informed decisions with a particular focus on enhancing
every individual student’s performance.
• EdTech players are offering a whole host of Apps for all age-groups of students. The
more students and teachers adopt to the ‘new normal’ (online classes), the better it is
for those managing the EdTech companies. Add to it the positive influence of the
recently announced National Education Policy (NEP 2020). When implemented as
recommended, the Indian education sector will further see a massive public spending
that will further fuel the education market in the country.
CONCLUSION
As the world is evolving in terms of technology, having a digital footprint is must. In the end,
I just want to say that I found this Internship Program truly useful. I got experience and
exposure in different areas of the corporate world.
Through this Summer Internship Project, I was able to apply the things I learned in theory to
practical day to day tasks. It was pleasant working with Younity and I intend to do more
internships in future as well. I was able to fulfil my duty as a dedicated intern and I think the
organisation was satisfied with the work I did.
