Client Roster / Revenue Optimization: Assessed client potential for maximum revenue per hour
and financial balance for the organization. As an example, optimized Bed Bath & Beyond from
competitor’s low of $25 revenue per hour to $40 RPH.
Strategic Planning: Initial and instrumental member of leadership team who grew this
logistics and fulfillment organization to upwards of $45m across more than a decade.
Regulatory Compliance / Innovation: Collaborated to develop certified Foreign Trade Zone
status allowing import/export to designated Santa Clarita region duty-free, which has saved
substantive time and funds (and deferred taxes) for client accounts.
Systems: Evolved systems and enhancements to accommodate growth of organization.
Collaborated to implement WMS inventory system, which was a $3m strategic investment (from
which financial reports are generated). Traveled to Peru to evaluate Manhattan / SAP for
upgrade. (Integrating from WMS system into SAP system.)
Process Improvement: Used TQM/JIT concepts to achieve substantial quality improvements.
Implemented the use of RF radio system to go paperless at substantive cost savings. Increased
profitability by researching, creating, and implementing time tracking system including time -
motion studies to improve work processing throughout systems.
Negotiation: Negotiated 70% discount with UPS Ground, 35% UPS overnight, and 30% UPS
second-day / three-day for rebate of up to $600,000 per year. New contract with FEDEX saves
20%, creating our freight revenue as a profit center.
Human Resource Optimization: Over 15 years management experience, with excellent leadership
qualities and employee development skills. Tied new Kronos system to time-motion studies for
Revenue Per Hour (RPH)… identifying labor for each job number, which refines client charges and
informs inventory replenishment.
Safety: Increased safety focus as well as safe workplace recognition, resulting in a reduction in
reportable incidents. Established OSHA program resulting in Golden Gate Safety Award.

weighing, & carrier routing. Procured and installed new carousel and conveyer system and developed “RF” system to
integrate with warehouse management system. Managed distribution of consumer and educational printed collateral.

Utilized TQM / JIT concepts to reduce shipping cycle time and customer quality defects for this electronic
