1 Scope
This specification describes the requirements on the DCDB unit for the communication
shelters.

2 Terminology and Abbreviations

Shall Indicates that the statement is mandatory.
Should Indicates a recommendation.

3 Element Specifications – DC Distribution Board


In this section the performance requirements for the DC Distribution Board are specified.
Each requirement
is numbered and the term “shall” is used to indicate that the requirement is mandatory. The
term
“should” is used when the requirement indicates a recommendation as an optional extra that
can be
added on to the basic unit by means of a modular design.
3.1 Main Technical Parameters
The DC Distribution Board “shall” have the following parameters:
Rated working voltage: DC48V
Maximum input load current: 63A
Output:4 branches 10A, 6 branches 16A, total 10 branches.
 All Circuit Breaker must be DC type.
Installation code: install on 19’’ frame.
Insulation resistance: insulation resistance between each live circuit and ground ≥10M
