Primary education school:
Years 1-8 aged 5-13. Children requires aged six years old and over to be in school. In the first
three years in primary education one-year level each year.
Secondary school: also known as college/high school/grammar school. Years 7-13 aged 11-17
or 18. Students progress through five levels and must stay until age 17-18. Secondary school
starts in grade 9.
Tertiary: aged 17 onwards. A university education is open to anyone who meets the common
