Baby Kangaroo 16 cm tall:
Arms (make2):
1 round: start 7sc in a magic ring
2 – 8 round: 7 sc
Put together and crochet 3 sc.
Cut yarn tail, fix and hide inside.

Legs (make 2):

1 round: Start 9 sc in a magic ring
2 – 5 round: 9 sc
Stuff bottom of legs (optionally).
Cut and fix yarn tail when you’ve finished 1st leg, do not cut yarn tail when you’ve finished 2nd leg, continue making
body:

Body and head (continuous piece):

6 round: 5 sc (2nd leg), ch2, 9 sc (1st leg), 2 sc ( on chain), 4 sc (2nd leg).
7 round: 5 sc, 2 sc (into the unused loops on the opposite side of the chain), 15 sc = 22 sc
8 round: inc, 10 sc, inc, 10 sc = 24 sc
9-12 round: 24 sc
13 round: (2 sc, dec) х 6 times= 18sc
Stuff the body.
14 round: (1 sc, dec) х 6 times= 12 sc
Connect arms and body:

Connect 2 parts. Pink part is in the bottom,
brown part is up.
Crochet with brown color grabbing loops of both
sides:
3 round: (1 sc, inc) х 6 times= 18 sc
4 round: 18 slip stitches
Put together and sew2 last stitches together,
grabbing loops of both sides.
Leave a long tail to sew.
Muzzle:
1 round: Start 6sc in a magic ring
2 round: (inc) х 6 times=12 sc
3 round: (1 sc, inc) х 6times= 18 sc
4 round: ( 2 sc, inc) х 6 times= 24 sc
5 round: 12 sc, ch 1, skip 4 stitches, 8 sc.
Slip stitch, cut yarn, leaving a tail to sew.
Attach yarn to remained 4 stitches, in the 5th round
where you made ch1:
Close these 4 stitches in a spiral (draw yarn through
each loop), pull well, fix yarn tail and hide inside.
Nose – thin velour yarn (size 2, 0 mm crochet hook):
1 round: Start 6sc in a magic ring
2 round: (inc) х 6 times =12 sc
3 round: (1 sc, inc) х 6times = 18 sc
4 round: 18 sc
5 round: (1 sc, dec) х 6 times= 12 sc
6 round: (dec) х 6 times = 6 sc
Stuff, but do not stuff tight.
Slip stitch, cut yarn, leaving a long tail to sew.
 Sew the nose to the muzzle, sew the muzzle to the head (step 7 rounds from the top of the head, stuff the muzzle a little
as you go), make sculpting: insert the needle into top of the headв, pull out of right cheek, grab 1 loop and go back. Pull
well, make a knot to fix and hide yarn tail inside. Repeat all steps for left cheek.
Sew the eyes (distance between eyes is 4 stitches) and the ears (step 4 rounds from top of the head, distance between ears -6
stitches), embroider eyebrows.
Kangaroo 40 cm tall:
Arms (make 2):
1 round: Start 6sc in a magic ring
2 round: (inc) х 6 times=12 sc
3 round: (1 sc, inc) х 6 times= 18 sc
4 round: ( 5 sc, inc) х 3 times = 21 sc

Continue into the unused loops on the opposite side of the chain— 11 sc, inc. into last stitch= 30 sc
2 round: (inc) х 2 times, 8 sc, (inc) х 8 times, 10 sc, (inc) х 2 times = 42 sc
3 round: 2 sc, inc, 10 sc, ( 1 dc, dc inc) х 8 times, 11 sc, inc, 1 sc = 52 stitches
 Top of the foot (make 2)
Repeat the first 3 rounds of bottom part.
4-5 round: 52 sc
Without cutting yarn tail put 2 parts together and crochet sc around both parts to connect. Stuff as you go.
 Legs (make 2)
1 round: crochet12 sc on surface of the foot
2 round – 3 round: 12 sc
Add stuffing

It necessary to fix legs on inner part of the body to stuff it later:
Fold cotton thread in a half, step 2-3 rounds down from the place where you connected body and legs. Insert the
needle through 4-5 stitches of the 1st leg, then through the 2nd leg, make a knot.
Stuff body
27 round: (7 sc, dec) х 6 times= 48 sc
28 round: (6 sc, dec) х 6 times= 42 sc
29 round: (5 sc, dec) х 6 times= 36 sc
30-31 round: 36 sc
Stuff body

Now connect arms and body:

If you want to make the muzzle as a

Now attach yarn to unused 10 stitches,
where you made ch1 (11 round):
Thread a needle and sew the opening, hide
and fix yarn tail on wrong side.

*…* - repeat until there will be 4 stitches.
Cut and fix yarn tail.
Attach yarn to the beginning, where you made ch26:
26 sc, ch1, turn the work* х 6 rows
row: (1sc, inc) х to the end of the row
Then crochet sc (10 rows)
Pin the pouch to the 17th round (count from top of the body) and crochet slip stitches to connect.
Then attach yarn to the bottom of the opposite side and repeat the same.
Cut and fix yarn, leaving a tail to sew.
Sew the nose to the muzzle, the pouch to the body(do not sew bottom of the pouch), step 28 rounds down from the neck
and sew the tail.
Sew the muzzle:
Pin and sew. Start from bottom. Top edge of the muzzle is in the 15th round of the head (count from top), stuff as you go,
make sculpting: repeat steps you made for baby kangaroo, for both cheeks.
If you want to make the smile more expressive make one more sculpting: insert the needle beneath eye sockets, draw thread
through the muzzle, grab 1 loop in bottom and go back, pull well.
Sew the mouth.
Sew eyes (distance between eyes ~ 6 stitches, sew in the 1st round from top of the head) and ears (step 7 rounds from top of
the head, distance between the ears ~12-13 stitches), embroider eyebrows.
