Objective - To create a customized blog post XML Document

Step 1 - Created a ‘New Listing’ Blog to be used as a template- ex. 123 Any Street (provided)

Step 2 - Export the blog as an XML Document (provided)

Step 3 - Identify areas in the XML Document that would be ‘editable’ with a new listing (
Editable examples include Custom URL, Address, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Sqft, Description,
Photos, Video Link etc., ex. 456 Another street

Sample post: Note - Red Text to show areas that would be classified as ‘editable’

Step 4 - Build a form that users would answer questions. Ex. Address, Bedrooms, Bathrooms
● The form would populate an excel sheet. (provided)

Step 5 - A formula would input the information from the spreadsheet into the ‘editable’ fields.
● Areas left empty would be eliminated (for example if no Video URL is uploaded, the
video section of the blog would cease to exist)
● A new XML Document is created

Step 7 (Optional) - Complex


● Design an extension that would log into WP and Upload the blog
● After Upload automated indexing occurs through users Google Search Console & Bing
