1. How long have you been associated with this organisation?

2. Did you have any prior work ex? Yes: Narrate how it was compared to the present
job?

3. Can you describe the process of your recruitment and onboarding ? (Ask for JD in
case not mentioned by doctor)

4. How far do you travel to reach the hospital ? (Follow up : What is the mode of
transport ?).

5. How does your typical day goes about ? Ask in detail about their daily routine?

a. Follow up: How many hours of work do you do in a typical day?

b. What are some of the strenuous works in your job?

Followup: Do you feel your job is hectic/ how often do you feel burnout? 

Do you have any interactions with other departments? Any challenges you
faced in those interactions?

Do you need to take any approvals as part of your job? If yes, for what
process is it required?

6. Do you have your lunch alone or with your fellow employees ? (make it open ended)

7. What are the expectations of your position ?  (Inference: Understanding Job)

8. Whom do you interact on a daily basis, weekly basis (Follow up Information flow, how
is your relationship)?

9. From whom do you take permission for planned and unplanned leave?( Follow up :
How does the supervisor respond?).

Followup: How does your subordinates take leave?

Does you/r team face any extra-workload when subordinates take unplanned
leaves?
10. What if you’re functions are not performed , what impact it would have on your
organisation?

a. (Follow up : Is there any replacement available if you are not present).

11. Can you narrate happy moments in your job?

Followup: Sir how do you feel when you start your day for the hospital?

What are some of the aspects that you think should change so that work is
more engaging?

What changes do you think can help the hospital improve? (In terms of
productivity, information flow, customer experience)

Followup: Stress more upon patient conflicts if not touched upon. 

15. How do you rate the customer experience provided by your hospital, what are
the good and areas of improvements aspects that you’ve come across?

16. What factors do you think is hampering customer service more?

Followup: Stress on conflict in case he doesn’t open up.

17. How smooth is your communication with your manager above you in hierarchy?
Does s/he understand what you convey and you understand what s/he convey?

18. Narrate some conflicts that you had with your patients, nurses, doctors etc

19. What are the challenges that you’ve come across when dealing with conflict
resolution?

20. Do you keep a track of record of equipments used by personnel?

21. Tell me about the last time you made a mistake.

22. Tell me about a time you received negative feedback.


23. Tell me about a time you failed to meet a deadline or a
commitment.

24. Where do I go to get help? How do I get it? (general help)

25. What is our problem management process? How do I help my customer


when there are problems? How do I escalate?

26. What should I be learning to be more effective in my current role? Who


can help me, what are the resources?

27. What should I be learning to grow in the organization and to move into
growth roles?

28. How can your manager help you to progress in your career?
