Assignment 1.3.1: Annotated Bibliography

AN ABODE FOR JUVENILE DELINQUENTS

Miloni, P., (2020) An Abode for Juvenile Delinquents,

The author, researcher, Miloni Patel, examines the problem relating to juvenile delinquency as
it becomes more complicated and universal as time goes by. The author assesses the
existence of crime prevention programs and the effectiveness of their facilities to deal with the
present realities. The research also evaluates various causes of juvenile delinquencies as well
as the effects of the existing correctional and detention centers on the social, mental, and
physical development of a child. The author examines alternative and possible architectural
solutions and proposes an architecture of contradiction, where young people prepare for life on
the outside while being kept within.
