ION TIRIAC
• Ion Tiriac (born 9 May 1939), also known as the ‘Brasov Bulldozer' is a Romanian businessman and
former professional tennis and ice hockey player. He is the current president of the Romanian Tennis
Federation.
• A former singles top 10 player on the ATP Tour, he is the winner of one grand slam title, the 1970 French
Open in men's doubles. Tiriac was the first man to play against a woman in a sanctioned tennis tournament
(against Abigail Maynard, in 1975). The highlight of his ice hockey career was participating as defenseman
in the Romanian national team at the 1964 Winter Olympics. After his retirement as a professional tennis
player, Tiriac became a businessman in (then West) Germany.
TIRIAC HOLDINGS
• Ţiriac Holdings Ltd. is a Romanian company primarily owned by Ion Ţiriac. Among its
operations are car dealership, vehicle leasing, real estate, elevator manufacturing, transport
and leasing of executive jets (Ţiriac Air), banking (UniCredit Țiriac Bank), and insurance
(Allianz Ţiriac). It also has a 49% interest in a joint venture with DaimlerChrysler for the sales
and marketing of all DaimlerChrysler automotive brands in Romania. Allianz Tiriac was found
initially under the name ASIT - Asigurari Ion Tiriac in 1994. ASIT was integrated in 2000 in
Allianz Group.

FINANCIAL SERVICES
• The year 1999 marks the beginning of Țiriac Leasing, initially under the name of Molesey Leasing
Group. Starting 2000, the company continued its activity under the name of Țiriac Leasing, thus
emphasising on its membership within the group. Later on, in August 2007, the acronym „IFN” was
added to the company’s name following its registration as non-banking financial entity at the National
Bank of Romania.
• Initially founded to support the automotive business within Țiriac Group, the company turned into a
stand-alone business, adopting a new policy by diversifying its activity and offering financial leasing
services for the entire range of automotive brands, new and previously used, from cars to commercial
fleets.
• As member of the Romanian Financial Association (ALB Romania) starting December 2006, Ţiriac
Leasing has a constant and active presence on its specific market.
Țiriac Leasing turnover in 2007: 225 million euros
• With more than 14 years of experience in providing operational leasing and fleet management services,
Țiriac Operating Lease is a 100% entrepreneurial company, characterized by flexibility and special attention
paid to its customers.
• By accessing the operational leasing services, companies can choose to pay a fixed monthly lease fee for
using a vehicle throughout the entire duration of the contract with Țiriac Operating Lease. Thus, the
customer benefits from a fleet adapted to its specific needs, without having to deal with bureaucratic
activities related to maintanance and management.
• Once Țiriac Operating Lease takes over the risks, customers can focus on developing their own specific
activities, having the possibility to constantly renew their fleet and accest to specialized counseling,
emergency technical assistance and car replacement.
• The foundations of the present-day Allianz-Ţiriac Asigurări were laid in 1994, with the establishment of Asigurări
“Ion Tiriac” (ASIT). Relying initially on developing its insurance portfolio in the industrial and commercial fields, ASIT
manged to bulid long term partnerships with its customers. In 2000, ASIT became part of the german insurance group
Allianz, which strengthened the company’s position on the Romanian market, being part of one the most important
financial groups in the world adding an undeniable competitive advantage to the company newly established under the
name of Allianz-Tiriac Asigurari.
• Allianz-Ţiriac currently provides a wide range of financial protection and planning products and services covering all
insurance areas – motor insurance, property insurance, liability insurance, life insurance and health insurance .
Nowadays, the insurance portfolio of the company has a diversified structure, basically including all types of protection
and financial planning products related to non-life insurance, life and health insurance and, starting 2007, private
retirement plan administration.
REAL ESTATE
• Ţiriac Imobiliare began its activity on the Romanian real estate market in 1994, with the establishment of
Fergus Construct Internaţional, the first real estate company member of Țiriac Group. The Țiriac
Imobiliare Group distinguished itself from the very beginning through the value added to its projects,
translated into undeniable quality and innovative development style, each project benefitting from an
uncompromising vision . Its later development fully confirmed the abilities of the Group as a strong
developer in real estate and constructions. For the future, Ţiriac Imobiliare plans to develop several real
estate projects – residential, commercial, business centers or multi-brand car showrooms, situated in
Bucharest and all major cities across Romania.
RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS
• Stejarii Residential Club is situated in the northern part of Bucharest, a highly attractive area located in the proximity
of the two airports – Baneasa and Otopeni – and of Baneasa commercial area, in the middle of a 200 ha oak forest.
• Stejarii complex integrates 8 buildings with a total of 285 apartments, with 2 up to 7 rooms. The apartments feature of
packages offered by Stejarii Residential Club include not only the apartments, but, also, some facilities and services
which are unique on the Romanian and Eastern European real estate market. Thus, both the owners and the tenants from
Stejarii have free access to exclusive concierge services, specific for a luxury resort, that assist them for booking airline
tickets, any type of appointment (from doctor, SPA, beauty centre to car service), room-service, flower delivery services
or baby-sitting services. Moreover, the complex includes a playground, a business centre, free of charge Wi-Fi and
Romanian digital TV packages that are at the disposal of the residents throughout the complex.
• In the proximity of Stejarii Residential Club, lies Ioanid Pre-School International Education (IPIE), a preschool that
offers international education based on the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum adapted for a
multicultural clientele. It caters for children aged 18 months – 5 years old in an attractive well-resourced environment.
• Residenz – cartierul german is a joint venture between Tiriac Imobiliare and LBBW Immobilien. The
residential complex covers an area of 68,230 square meters, of which more than 41% represent green spaces
and recreation.
• The complex includes 489 apartments in 48 buildings with 3, 4 or 5 storeys , with only 1, 2 or 3
apartments on each storey . Thus, those who choose Residenz enjoy a high degree of comfort and privacy .
The apartments of 66 to 185 sqm ( penthouse type) have from 2 up to 5 rooms.
• Residenz complex offers a wide range of facilities: 320 underground parking places and more than 300
outdoor parking places for residents and visitors; 478 individual storage units in the basement ; private
kindergarden; controlled access to the complex; 2 continuously monitored entries; there are Schindler lifts in
each building, with a capacity of 8 people; organic laundry service, banks; beauty salon; notary public
office; LIDL discount market; pub; butcher shop; park ; sport field and children’s play area.
TIRIAC CENTRE
• The centre covers a built surface of 5,705 sqm, of which 4,842 sqm are the net area. The building
includes basement, ground floor, and 5 floors and it was delivered in November 2003. Ţiriac Centre is
located on Şoseaua Nordului, in Bucharest.
THE NOUVEAU CENTRE
• This business centre, finalized in March 2002, covers a built surface of 7,058 sqm, 5,366 sqm
representing the net area. The building disposes of 5 floors, ground floor and basement. The centre is
located in the Lipscani area of Bucharest.
VAMA POSTEI CENTRE
• Giulesti Business Centre has a net area of 3,673 sqm and includes a ground floor, 3 floors and 31 over
ground parking places.
SHOPPING AND LEISURE
• 18 showroom locations in Bucharest, Brasov, Constanta, Bacau, Suceava, Iasi, Cluj, Oradea, Timisoara
and Otopeni.

50, respectively 350 parking spaces.
AVIATION
Founded in 1997, part of Tiriac Holdings, the company has reached a high level of
excellence, becoming the most prestigious charter operator on the Romanian market,
specialized in VIP services and business travel. Tiriac Air is the only private company in
Romania that owns a private terminal, being a fixed base operator. Its own fleet consists
of three aircraft and a helicopter. The company runs a Part145 certified technical
maintenance base with its own hangar.

a helicopter of different transport capacities, fully equipped, which ensures a high level of safety and
comfort. Tiriac Air services are adapted to the demands of business people, representing a suitable choice
regardless of the destination. The aircraft are equipped with comfortable armchairs and sofas, and the
chosen interiors elegantly combine rare essences of wood, leather and precious textiles. The aircraft are
equipped with audio and video systems, telephone and Internet.

AGUSTA WESTLAND 139
The Agusta Westland 139 is part of a new generation of helicopters equipped with two
turbocharged axle engines and sets new standards in its aircraft category. Versatile and with a
high degree of maneuverability. In a configuration for eight passengers, the helicopter is
equipped with a spacious and comfortable cabin. Access to the luggage compartment can be
made both from the outside and from the cabin.
EMBRAER 505 - PHENOM 300
The Embraer 505 Phenom 300 aircraft belongs to the class of light jet aircraft and
represents the new standard of customer comfort for the category of aircraft to
which it belongs. It is manufactured in 2017 and can perform direct flights between
destinations located at distances of 3,500 km. The aircraft is configured with a cabin
for 8 passengers, spacious and very bright, equipped with innovative leather seats,
ergonomic, with improved shock absorbers, with adjustable headrests and
retractable armrests.
ENERGY
TIRIAC ENERGY
• Out of respect for the environment and a sense of responsibility for raising awareness with regard to the
preservation of natural resources, in 2013, Ţiriac Group became producer of green energy.
• Within Ţiriac Energy Division, Ţiriac Group initiated the development of a photovoltaic park with a
capacity of 8 MW. The project is being implemented in Prahova County, in cooperation with Gildemeister
Group, Electrica Muntenia and the local authorities.
SPORT
• In 2010, under the coordination of Mr. Ion Ţiriac, the Romanian Olympic Foundation started the
reconstruction of the former sports ground Granitul located in the Pantelimon area. The first phase of the
project has enjoyed a positive feedback both from the community and partners who have joined the project
so far.
• The Center offers facilities at international standards: a football field certified FIFA 2-star
multifunctional terrain for mini football, handball, tennis, foot tennis, a basketball court as well as a football
field and volleyball on the sand.
• Operated by Ţiriac Foundation and built on the initiative of Mr. Ion Ţiriac, Ţiriac – Telekom Arena ice
rink was inaugurated on 7 December 2016. Ţiriac – Telekom Arena is a unique project, the first ice rink in
the Bucharest-Ilfov area according to the latest international Olympic standards and in accordance with the
indications of the International Hockey Federation (FIH).Its main purpose is to encourage the practice of
sport among children, young people and to support sports teams in achieving the highest performances.The
skating rink located in Otopeni, on Drumul Garii Odai Street, has a built area of 4,863 sqm and a capacity of
about 500 places.
• The site provides 4 locker rooms for hockey teams, 6 individual lockers for sports skaters and a
cloakroom for the general public. In addition, it benefits of a parking space of 70 places, with spaces
adapted for coaches.

DEALERSHIP
• Ţiriac Auto is the most extensive car dealer and service network in Romania.
• The company holds the vastest portfolio on the national automotive market, representing six of the most
renowned brands: Ford, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz and Mitsubishi. The car dealer sells
both new and second hand units.

• Țiriac Collection is the first private car gallery in Romania open to the public, which includes over 170
outstanding car and motorcycle models, both historical vehicles manufactured since 1899 as well as high
end models, from the most important manufactures in the world.
• Țiriac Collection is the only car gallery in the world where visitors can see all Rolls-Royce Phantom
models belonging to series I-VI, manufactured up to 1972, as well as exibits previously owned by celebrities
such as Sir Elton John, Sammy Davis Jr. or Bernie Ecclestone.

• Established in 2012, Tiriac Property Services offers integrated professional administrative and
operational management services. The market segments that the company serves are the residential,
commercial and industrial, as well as logistic parks and office buildings.
• Among the services provided, the company mediates the negotiation process and the rental contracts
agreements, it ensures the contract management with the suppliers, thus providing owner representation
with third parties. At the same time, Tiriac Property Services has expertise in technical maintenance of the
buildings and technical systems, emergency interventions by specialized technical team, cleaning,
maintenance and relocations.
SECURIT FORCE
• Securit Force, part of Ţiriac Group, was set up in 2000 and it’s main activity consists in providing
security, protection, monitoring and rapid intervention services. The company currently provides an
entire range of security services and has a team of specialists with relevant experience in the field,
both on the executive and consulting level.
MEDIA-TIQUE
• Established in 2003, Media-Tique is an agency with expertise in media and communications, providing
an integrated range of services as strategy and account management, research, planning and media buying.
