QUESTION 1
Using your own words, briefly explain and provide example for each of these items. You are
also required to provide reference source for each answer.
i. Electronic journal (e-journal): Electronic journal or e-journal is an
academic periodical publication comprised of research paper or article published in
electronic format, usually e-journal can be easily accessed through the internet

ii. Boolean searching: Boolean searching is a searching method that combine word and
phrases using the words AND, OR, NOT, with this method the researcher can limit or
broaden searching for information as desired

iii. In-text citation: is a form of reference the researcher write within the body of text of
academic paper or essay, In-text citation can be use when a researcher want to use

iv. Digital natives: is a term used to called a person or group of people born during the
age of digital technology and usually very familiar with computer and the internet

b) Secondary information is an information that create by someone who did not
participate in the event direcly, usually an interpretation of the actual event

ii. Explain the importance of understanding the THREE (3) structures of information.
Understandsting the three (3) structures of information will help a Researcher
differentiate what kind of information available, it also help a researcher to interpret
information easily so that misunderstanding did not happen
