I am a motivated Electrical Technician with experience in Power Station Plant and equipment,
Substation maintenance, Power System Protection and Electrical mining installation and maintenance.
I am a team player, self motivated and results orientated with excellent planning and organisational

SKILLS AND COMPETENCY
Result orientated self starter, disciplined and capable of executing assigned duties and tasks

Advanced skills in the use of computers (MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point) and using
PCs in performing various functions including protection relay testing and transformer
testing.
Experience in basic and advanced testing methods using equipment ranging from Fluke
1625-2, Omicron CMC 156, 256 and 356, CMA 156, Megger equipment such as TTR 3xx,
MIT 1020, MTO 210 and SCITS 100

Experience in maintenance and operation of primary plant and equipment such as powers,
high voltage circuit breakers, autoreclosers, metering units, metal clad switch gear
Experience in generator brush gear maintenance i.e. (20MW, 120MW and 220MW)
Experience in the installation, maintenance, fault finding of Variable Speed Drives, DC
Drives and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
Experience in installation and termination of electrical power and control cabling to the power
distribution boards, control panels, motor circuits.
Experience in designing wiring diagrams, layout drawings and engineering specifications for
system or equipment modifications or expansion and directs personnel performing routine
installation and maintenance duties.
