C1 Advanced English Speaking Test Insights

Raphael is from Lucerne, Switzerland and has been studying English for 25 years since enjoying the Beatles music. He is still in school with two years remaining. Maude has been studying English for about six years and enjoys that it allows her to talk with friends in France. She is an English teacher who has taught for 20 years at the same school where she studied. While both Maude and Raphael use the internet to keep in touch with distant friends and relatives, Raphael believes interacting with people face-to-face is better than just writing online.
