Request Letter For Classroom 2

The principal of Lobong National High School wrote to the Municipal Mayor requesting funding to construct a new 10-classroom building. The school currently has 1,317 students and staff housed in 32 rooms, with some classes held in the multi-purpose hall due to lack of space. The student population is growing and additional classrooms are needed. The principal asks the mayor to use the increased LGU budget from the Mandanas Ruling to fund the new building and support the education of the community's youth.

Dear Sir:

Lobong National High School is in its second week of face-to-face classes. And
we have seen the enthusiasm of the entire school community as an indication of strong
support and devotion to the education of our youth, our nation's hope. However, we
anticipate significant challenges as a result of a constantly growing school population
and a limited number of classrooms that are available to conduct classes.

Our school currently has 1,317 students and 58 teaching and non-teaching
professionals housed in 32 rooms. However, two sections were formed to decongest
the classes in grades 9 and 10, and there are no more classrooms available to
accommodate them. As a consequence, they are temporarily conducting classes in the
multi-purpose hall, which is not free of distractions caused by outside noise.

We anticipate that the student population will continue to grow, necessitating the
construction of at least ten-classroom building to provide a safe and motivating
environment conducive to serious learning for our students.

On that note, we implore your honor to grant us a school building through the
LGUs' budget, as we no longer expect the DepEd central office to provide us with the
needed infrastructure. As mayor of our municipality, you have so much to give that will
benefit our youth. LGUs are empowered to make a difference as a result of the
Mandanas Ruling by the Supreme Court, transferring more resources by increasing the
share of national government tax revenue transferred to local governments.

The education of our youth is one of the highest priorities of a government

determined to leave a lasting legacy for our country. And as your partner in sustaining
the impetus for development, you can count on us on this journey. Your name will be
forever engraved in our hearts and minds as a result of your initiative to provide us with
a school building, and it will go down in the colorful history of our municipality.

We appreciate your prompt action on this request. God bless and more power on
your endeavors.

Respectfully yours,

FLORA E. CONDES, EdD
