7Es LESSON PLAN in Science 9
School: BALULANG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL District: WEST I
Teacher: MERCYGEL R. DANGEL Quarter: 1
Grade Level: 9 Date &
Time:
Topic: Photosynthesis and Respiration
Content: Flow of energy and matter in ecosystems
Content Standard: The learners demonstrate an understanding of the
structure and function of plant parts and organelles
involved in photosynthesis.
Performance Standard: The learners should be able to: design and
conduct an investigation to provide evidence that
plants can manufacture their own food.
Learning Competencies (with code): The learners should be able to differentiate basic
features and importance of photosynthesis and
respiration. (S9LT-Ig-j-31)
Objectives:
By the end of class, students should be able to:
1. describe the function of stomata;
2. infer evidences of photosynthesis; and
3. infer the effect of varying amount of chlorophyll in the rate of photosynthesis.
Integration:
1. ICT – students will make a video presentation showing the process of their experiment.
2. English – Reading and comprehension. Interpretation and Analysis of data.
3. Mathematics – presentation of quantitative data in table.
Economics – importance of agriculture and concept on making urban gardening.
