Part 1.

1. Look for patterns Inside or outside of your house then take pictures of the patterns explored using
smart phones or digital camera. Explore, take photos, make list and identify what patterns can be seen in
nature inside your house, at the garden or park nearby or any part of the neighborhood.

Q&A

2. How do you find the golden ratio of your face?

"The Golden Ratio" was first introduced to me in an Asian documentary. It is a special number
approximately equal to 1.618. It appears many times in geometry, art, architecture, and other areas. To
determine the symmetry of my face, the length and width of my face must first be measured. According
to the Golden Ratio, the optimum outcome is around 1.6, which indicates that a beautiful person's face is
approximately 1 1/2 times longer than it is wide. Ideal beauty is evaluated by determining how equal your
proportions are and how far your measurements deviate from the Golden Ratio. In my case, the structure
of my face unfortunately does not match the golden ratio. However, we shouldn't take it to heart if our
measurements aren't perfectly even. Besides, we are all uniquely beautiful.

3. In relation to golden ratio, give 3 examples of Celebrities with almost

perfect faces, explain why?

1. I had once watched a video regarding "The Golden Ratio" on Tiktok (a short-form video hosting
service). The video contains top 10 celebrities who have faces that are proportional to the golden
ratio. If I would pick 3, I’ll choose 1.) Amber Heard, 2.) Jodie Comer, and 3.) Kim Seokjin. Dr Julian
De Silva of Harley Street employed computerized mapping to analyze the looks of female and male
celebrities, The qualified candidates' faces were examined by the used of the Golden Ratio, which
measures a person's beauty and attractiveness based on the measurements of their facial
characteristics, their placements, and the distances between them. He examined 12 key aspects of
their facial structure, including their eyes, lips, nose, chin, and overall face shape. He concluded that
they were almost perfect because they are the closest to the ideal ratio. Amber Heard’s face was
91.85% perfect, Jodie Comer’s face was 98.7% perfect, and BTS Jin’s perfect face has a golden ratio
of 1:1.618, which means his face is one of the most symmetric, proportional, and perfect Asian  male
faces.
ESSAY (100 words)

Will the universe exist without mathematics or vice versa?

We cannot deny that mathematics has been useful to us ever since. Except for the fact that it is just a
compilation of numbers, sequences, equations, etc. Mathematics has been there to help humanity, i.e., in
composing music, the advancement of technology, building bridges, and even the discovery of unrevealed
facts. As effective as mathematics can be in our lives, there are some instances where it isn't useful. This
leads us to the question, "Will the universe exist without mathematics or vice versa?" As I see it, the
universe will continue to expand even with or without the existence of mathematics. The universe is a
physical entity, not a mathematical one, and there are tremendous differences between the two. For
instance, the discovery of Neptune was confirmed based on mathematical calculations. Therefore,
Neptune has been there. It is true that mathematics did help in terms of the discovery of Neptune, but that
doesn't mean it is the one who is responsible for its existence. The universe is not purely mathematical in
nature.
