Recommended materials & tools:
1. A ball of Jeans by YarnArt white color (color code 62 or 01).
2. Some Jeans by YarnArt different colors: violet 50, purple 19,
light blue 76, green 29, yellow 67, orange 23, red 26, mustard
84, pink 36.
3. A half of a ball Jeans by YarnArt mint color (color code 79).
4. Toy eyes d. 16 mm
5. Toy stuffing
6. Thin black thread to decorate
7. Size 2,25 (or 2.0 mm) crochet hook
8. Pink nose diameter 15 mm
9. A cut of wire or a wooden stick 9 cm length
10. Clear glue
Abbreviations (US crochet terms):
MR – magic ring
CH - chain stitch
SC – single crochet
INC – single crochet increase (make 2 stitches into 1 stitch)
DEC – single crochet decrease (close 2 stitches together)
SL ST – slip stitch
HDC – half double crochet
DC – double crochet
TR- treble crochet
Crochet the head:
Work in white yarn color, from top to bottom.
Stitch marker goes through the middle.

Crochet the ears:
Start working in pink yarn color.
The 1st part.
1. 4 sc in a MR (4), turn the work and now work in flat rows, making ch1 at the
beginning of each row.

4. 2 sc , inc, 3 sc , (hdc, dc, hdc) into 1 stitch , 2 sc , inc, 3 sc (17)
Change the yarn to white color.
1. 7 sc , inc, 3 sc into 1 stitch , 7 sc , inc (21)
The 2nd part.
Repeat the pattern of the 1st part, work in white yarn color.
Now make sc in a round to connect 2 parts, make inc in top corner and from both
sides.
Sew the ears on the 5 – 15th rounds.
Crochet the horn:
Work in light-yellow color.

Wrap mustard yarn color around
the horn, as pictured.
Sew on 1-3 rounds.
Crochet the mane:
Work in purple yarn color.
Make ch31 and from the 2nd stitch
crochet 30 inc, then attach pink yarn
color and repeat the same, make ch31
and from the 2nd stitch from hook
crochet 30 inc, now attach mint yarn
color and crochet the same. Continue
colors alternating, make 9 strands in
total.
Sew the strands on the head behind
the horn.
Crochet the muzzle :
If you glue eyes, place pins in the 15th round, now step 2 stitches up and 2
stitches to the sides, with the distance 10 stitches between the eyes.
Now make sculpting.
SCULPTING VIDEO (click the word “video” simply).
When the sculpting is done, glue the eyes.
If you use safety eyes, install them and only then make sculpting.
Now embroider whites and then embroider black half rounds.
Then embroider 2 lines up and down to make the eyes more expressive.
Step 1 round up from the eyes and embroider the eyebrows grabbing 4
stitches with the distance 11 or 12 stitches between the eyebrows.
Glue the nose on the 15th or 16th rounds.
Embroider a pink line down from the nose.
Blush the cheeks in pink color.
Crochet the arms:
Work in white yarn color.
1. 6 sc in a MR (6)
2. 6 inc (12)
3-17. 12 sc
Change the yarn to yellow color.
18-19. 12 sc
Change the yarn to orange color.
20-21. 12 sc
Change the yarn to red color.
22-23. 12 sc
Add stuffing inside the arm.
Put together and crochet 6sc through
the stitches of both sides. Embroider
black lines on tips of the arms to
decorate.
Sew the arms on the 39th round.
Crochet the legs and the body:
Work in white yarn color.
Make 2.

Do not cut the yarn, when the 2nd leg is completed, make ch6 and make sl st to
connect the 1st leg.
Now crochet the body in a round.
24 sc along the leg, 6 sc along the chain, 24 sc along the 2 nd leg and 6 sc along
the chain = 60 sc.

Crochet the tail:
Work in purple color.

then attach mint yarn color and
crochet the same way.
Make 3 strands in total.
Sew on the 23rd – 24th rounds.
Crochet the wings:
Work in mint yarn color.
The 1st part.

Do not cut the yarn when the 3rd part is done, and make sl st to connect the 2nd
part.
Now crochet 5 sc along the 2nd part, make sl st to connect the 1st part, now 9 sc
along the 1st part, 1 sc into sl st, 4 sc along the 2nd part, 1 sc into sl st, 9 sc along
the 3rd part, 1 sc into sl st.
1 sc into sl st+ 9 sc+ 1 sc into sl st + 9 sc + 1 sc into sl st + 9 sc + 1 sc into sl st =
31.
Now crochet 31sc in a round.

Do not stuff the wings.
Sew the wings on the 33rd -36th
rounds with the distance 8 or 9
stitches between the wings.
Sew the head on the body.
Crochet a magic wand:
Work in yellow yarn color (make 2).
1. Start 8 sc in a MR, sl st (8).
2. Ch1, 8 inc, sl st (16).
3. Make ch6 and from the second stitch from hook crochet sl st, sc, 2 dc, tr,
skip 2 stitches along the star foundation and crochet sl st into the 3 rd
stitch. Make ch6 again and repeat the same. Make 5 parts.
4. Crochet sl st around the star.
Now take a cut of wire or a wooden stick ~ 9cm length.
Drop some clear glue and wrap yarn purple around.
Now glue a wooden stick to one of the stars and sew the second part of the
star above.
