ASSIGNMENT
Answer the following:
1. Define the following;
- Ecology
Ecology is the study of the interactions between living species, such as humans,
and the physical environment in which they live. The goal of ecology is to get a
better understanding of the fundamental connections that exist between plants,
animals, and the surrounding environment. The study of ecology not only
teaches us about the benefits that ecosystems give, but also about the ways in
which we can use the resources of the Earth in ways that are sustainable and
preserve the health of the environment for future generations.
- Educational Administration
Educational administration involves integrating the right human and material
resources to achieve an educational institution's program goals.
"Administration" doesn't mean one thing. It covers planning, organizing,
directing, coordinating, managing, and evaluating performance. Educational
administration is similar. Educational administration applies to organizations with
aims.
The head of the educational organization meticulously develops programs and
activities to fulfill these goals. School, college, or university. With help from
instructors, parents, and students, the school/college/university head organizes
various programs and activities. He/She inspires, coordinates, and controls
teachers. He/She assesses their progress toward program goals.
He offers input and modifies school, college, and university plans and programs
as needed. Educational administration encompasses all of these processes that
help schools/colleges/universities achieve their aims.
- Educational Management
Educational management oversees educational institutions. It involves planning,
organizing, and directing educational activities to meet goals using people and
material resources. It goes beyond school principals. Educational Management is
essential to helping schools achieve their goals.
Educational management aims to efficiently and effectively create and maintain
environments in educational institutions that promote, support, and sustain
effective teaching and learning, but how those key objectives are set and how
they are achieved may vary by education system or level and across educational
cultures. Educational managers use management principles to recruit and
arrange a society's resources to meet political leaders' educational goals. As
such, educational managers at all levels of the educational system must adjust to
changing educational goals set by different cultures, changing socioeconomic
conditions, and the rapid growth of digital management tools. While leading
planned change, educational management must respond to unplanned, disruptive
change caused by rapid changes in social structures, cultures, and digital
technologies. Educational leadership, which directs and guides educational
management and administration, is crucial here. Manager and teacher
professional ethics are articulated in many ethical leadership in education
theories that respond to cultural imperatives in different societies. Educational
management must adapt to global and local technological advances that affect
teaching and learning through curriculum, pedagogical, and assessment
adjustments. Educational management's ability to adapt to the global
technological, social, cultural, and economic developments of the early 21st
century will determine its future usefulness and efficacy. In the coming decades,
educational management must innovate and manage change. Leadership is
essential for success in all education and training institutions. School leaders are
key to connecting multiple levels of education and training, families, the
workplace, and the community to improve student achievement.
