Cutting deparment:
Cutting department has special importance in garment manufacturing, it
is not possible to make garment in abundance without cutting department.
The fabric is first cut using the first pattern to make any garment. To
make complete the garment, the fabric is cut into several pats, then these
cut parts are sent to the sewing department for stitching, where the whole
garment is made by adding these parts. The cutting department has a huge
contribution in the garment industry. The first step in the garment
manufacturing process is cutting after the buyer has confirmed the order,
this cutting done in bulk is possible only by the cutting department. The
cutting department receives this order from the production manager.
Ladies pret:
Stiched garments are made for display .The sewing department works on
first receiving planning sheets from the planning department, receiving
cutting Pcs fabrics from the cutting department, and setting up the layout
according to the instructions of the Industrial Engineering department.
The sewing department converts fabric into cloth or
garments through different sewing machines and different sewing
processes. So, the sewing department is the king department in the
apparel industry. The main department in the garments industry is
sewing.
Pakaging deparment:
Cartons are made according to buyer instruction and lengthwise it
contains the buyer name, width-wise it contains the measurement, net &
gross weight. Carton contains the information that is printed by screen
print style. In the apparel manufacturing process, fabric is the main raw
material. It is impossible to make apparel only with fabric. To make
complete apparel different types of secondary materials are used. These
secondary materials are known as trimmings and accessories. Accessories
are not directly attached to the body of apparel by sewing, only used for
finishing and packing purpose. Basically, accessories are used for
decorative purposes and trimmings are used as functional purposes.
Bleaching Deparment:
Fabric is bleached properly.Bleaching is an important and essential step
in pretreatment of Textiles. It helps 'whiten' the textile material by
removing undesired inherent coloring components. Generally, the natural
fibres and their blends comprise about 50 % of total textile substrates and
are invariably bleached, while the regenerated and synthetic goods are
given this treatment considering the specific requirement. Depending on
the substrate, a number of chemicals and application methods are
employed to achieve optimum bleaching effect, however, it is also
imperative to remove and get rid of the excess and leftover bleaching
agent from the textile goods before subsequent wet processing. In this
article an attempt is made to review various bleaching chemicals used in
textile industry and the methods of their removal and cleaning.
Dyeing Deparment:
The garment is dyed in different colours The process of dyeing fully
made apparel product like t-shirts , pants , trousers , shirts , jackets, tops,
pullovers , dresses and bottoms is called garments dyeing. In
Conventional method , Garments are made with pre-dyed fabrics and then
cutting and sewing. But now grey fabrics are dyed in required color after
manufacturing. It has become popular in recent days due to cost saving
and fashion trends. Also it is capable to react much closer to actual
market demand if the apparel is post dyed which reduces lead time and
increases forecasting accuracy.
