Conducting a Survey
When you conduct your own survey, take your time and get as much
information before you finally begin farming. Whether it is small scale
(backyard) farming or large scale farming you have in mind, it is best to take
initial steps.
• Know your area
• Know the local animal and fish industry
• Know the people in the community
• Know your market
• Learn from others
Persons in the community whose occupation is animal (four-legged) raising.
Animal raising is a profitable business, though it requires big amount of capital.
Capital invested can be double when the person engaged has a determination
on his/her business. There are some persons in this business in our community/
country or even worldwide. Among them are:
