- In music, there are specific pitches

that makes up standard notes. Most
musicians use a standard notes called the
chromatic scale.
Chromatic scale – is all
twelve notes arranged into
ascending or descending order
of pitch. In the chromatic
scale there are seven main musical
notes called A, B, C, D, E, F, and
G. Each of these represent a different
frequency or pitch. We use this first seven letters of
the alphabet to name notes on a staff in alphabetical
order as the pitch gets higher (A, B, C, D, E, F, G)
and reverse alphabetical order as the pitch gets lower
(G, F, E, D, C, B, A). Using Hertz, we can measure
the frequency or pitch of the note.
So, I have here an image of the equivalent frequency
or pitch of each musical note.

-By identifying the letters if it is ascending

As you can see in the picture class, how will you or descending. teacher!
determine how low or high the notes? Anyone?

the 500 Hz, is it high or low note?
Yes. Arnie?

Very Good Arnie!

In a low- frequency sound it has about 500 Hz or

lower. A high- frequency sound it has about 2,000
Hz and higher.

Musical notes- it is a notation representing the

pitch and the duration of a musical sound.

Pitch – position of a single sound in the

complete range of sound. Sounds are higher or
lower in pitch according to the frequency of
vibration of the sound waves producing them.

The short wavelength means lots of wave and it

means it is high frequency or pitch. The long Color green teacher!
wavelength means low frequency or low sound.

So, in these three wavelength in the picture,

what color has a lot of wave or high frequency
or pitch?

Yes, Lhira? Both red ang blue teacher!

Very Good Lhira! Let’s give a hand to Lhira.

In what color of wavelength has a long wave or

low frequency or pitch?

Yes, kaye hazel?

Yes! very good kaye hazel!

Musician - is a person who composes, conducts,

or performs music.
-Yes teacher! (everyone)
-No teacher! (everyone)
So, all of these are important in music class so,
you should have to learn and practice all of these
in order to create a good music especially the
seven musical note. -(A, B, C, D, E, F, G) teacher!

D. Generalization
