Formwork Design

This document provides details on the design of formwork for a concrete pour, including material properties, structural member sizing, and load calculations. Timber joists, plywood, vertical bearers, and horizontal walings will be used for the formwork. Load calculations are presented for bending moment, shear force, and deflection for each member to verify their design based on the applied live loads from wet concrete. Reinforcing tie bars are also designed to resist the calculated tensile force between formwork elements.
