Homeroom Guidance

Quarter 2 – Module 9:
Unique Experiences Make Me
Strong

NAME: CELINE B. BRAGADO

SECTION: 9-MEYER

Let’s Try This!

Processing Questions:

1. How did you feel about recalling your experience?

I always remember this exact moment when my friends and I were walking home from MTAP
lessons back when I used to compete. I always felt like I was genuinely happy at that moment
and I was with people that I enjoyed having company with.

2. What lesson did you associate with it?

The lesson I associate with this memory is to be around people that I respect because that
environment would be best for me.

3. How can it be helpful in your school tasks?

Even if I don’t like relying on others, it's good to have someone to support you until the end,
especially in school because it could be very challenging.

Let’s Explore This

Throwback: My Life As A Student – in A Flash
A. Attendance How regular do you attend classes?
Always.
B. Class Recitations How do you prepare for recitations?
By reviewing past lessons and
inferring what questions would be
most likely to be asked.
C. Quizzes What are your ways to achieve a good
score in your quizzes?
Review the lessons covered in the quiz
and keep your mind focused and away
from any distractions.
D. Group Activities What have you learned from being a
group member in achieving your
academic goals?
It was much faster to work in groups,
but it could be quite troublesome to
make everyone cooperate.
E. Individual Projects What did you discover about yourself
while doing your project?
I am not the best at efficiency and that
I should work on my time
management.

Processing Questions:

1. What lessons have you learned from your past experiences?

That the past teaches us about who we are in the present and we should use our past
as an example of what to do and what not to do.

2. What academic advice can you give to your present self as a learner?

I would gift my present self with patience and determination. So she wouldn’t be easily
upset and she’d have a better temper. I also want her to not give up and keep pursuing
what she wants during that time.

You Can Do It!

"Remember why you started when you're ready to give up."
What I Have Learned
Ways to enhance my strengths
 Know your strengths to begin with
 Learn from experience of others
 Be open-minded to possible ways of improving yourself
 Find the best ways and know the most appropriate scenarios to implement
your strengths.

Ways to overcome your weaknesses

 Know your specific weaknesses
 Be ready to go beyond your comfort zone
 Challenge yourself to do something new everyday
 State what your goals and motivations are
 Take baby steps in further overcoming such weaknesses
 Do not force yourself to commitment but know that it would greatly help

Share Your Thoughts and Feelings

If you are going to give a message to yourself in relation to
this activity, what would that be?

I would tell myself to take small steps every day until one
day I would already be at my destination. I would also tell
myself that it's okay if I see no big improvement every day.
What's important is the effort and time I reserve for the act.
