Admission Notification (2nd Merit List)

Following students are provisionally selected for admission to M.A./M.Sc courses in the subjects under Faculty Council (Sc.) for the session 2022-2024. The
students should take note of the following points before making payment of admission Fees :
1. Payment of Admission Fees will start through registered User ID and Password from 11 th October, 2022 to 12th October, 2022. Students will receive e-
mail in their registered e-mail id when the payment link opens.
2. The link will remain active till 12th October, 2022.
3. Students are advised not to make a second attempt of payment if no receipt is generated instantly. After expiry of payment period, University
will publish a list of “Students with Successful Payment Status”. A student enlisted in this Merit List who finds his/her payment unsuccessful in
the list of “Students with Successful Payment Status” will be given an additional period of 24 hours for making their pending/unsuccessful
payment which will be notified alongwith the Payment Status Report in the University Website.
4. University will not take responsibility of any payment failure caused due to network problems.
5. If a candidate is found, before or after admission, not having the minimum eligibility of admission in post graduate courses, then university will have the
right to cancel his/her admission without taking responsibility of refund of his/her admission fees.

6. Classes will commence from 01.11.2022.
7. Candidates admitted in the Affiliated Colleges will get notification of commencement of classes from the respective colleges.
8. As per the directives of the Honb’ble Supreme Court of India, it is notified that if any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, the
concerned student shall be given liberty to explain and if his explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would expel him from the institution.
9. University reserves the right to modify the list of candidates selected for admission in the event of detection of any inadvertent error, before or
after payment of admission fees including cancellation of admission.

Rules Implemented in this Merit List

I. If there is no candidate in the UR-DA, SP Category, then the seat will be transferred to the UR Category. Under similar circumstances, seats of
DA-SC, DA-OBCA will be transferred to SC and OBCA Category respectively.
II. Guidelines of Inter-Transferability/Conversion of Reserved Seats :
a) A candidate of S.C. or S.T. is considered eligible if his/her Hons. Marks/Grade Point is not less than 25% of the last selected candidate in the
UR Category.

In case seats reserved for S.C. Category remains vacant for want of eligible candidates, seats will be filled up by the eligible candidate from the list of
S.T. Category and vice-versa. If the seats of reserved Category remain vacant even invoking the principle of inter-transferability may be converted to
seats under UR Category as per Govt. Rules.
b) A candidate of OBC-A or OBC-B is considered eligible if his/her Hons. Marks/Grade Point is not less than 10% of the last selected candidate
in the UR Category.
In case seats reserved for OBC-A Category remains vacant for want of eligible candidates, seats will be filled up by the eligible candidate from the list
of OBC-B Category and vice-versa. If the seats of reserved Category remain vacant even invoking the principle of inter-transferability may be
converted to seats under UR Category as per Govt. Rules.
