Scope of freelancing in Gilgit


The scope of freelancing in Gilgit-Baltistan is huge. It is the time when the people
of Gilgit-Baltistan is aware of freelancing And diverted their reserved to the (IT)
sector. Freelancing has become increasingly popular in Gilgit-Baltistan, especially
among the youth.ten years ago it was not like that, very few people here knew
about this , because there was no internet. The reason for this was that Gilgit-
Baltistan is a remote area of Pakistan where it was quite difficult to provide
facilities. Rising unemployment has forced many to turn to other sources of
income such as business and self-employment, in which a large number of
young people turn to freelance. Because of the flexibility and benefits,
freelancing looks great and people want to be a freelancer who is working
from home at any time and making money. It is very beneficial especially
for the people of GilgitBaltistan as it is a mountainous area that people
cannot move easily from here to there due to common natural disasters.
Unemployment was also high. freeelancing is growing rapidly in GB and
around the world. It was a part-time job and people used to do it when
they had no job but a few years ago, freelancing emerged as a profession
and now people are taking it seriously as a career, Especially in youth GB.
2020 was not a good year due to Covid 19 and the worldwide lockdown,
but there is a huge rise seen in freelancing during Covid 19. During the
lockdown, people who had already set up their business online did not face
such difficulties but those who did not bring their business online faced
very difficult situations. If we talk about these days, Gilgit has thousands of
freelancers and is built near every place where freelancers are being trained
and they are earning well. Freelancing is entrepreneurship. This means that
freelancers have total control of earning potential. The average salary for
a freelancer is (Rs 37,860 )per month in GB. Overall, the scope of
freelancing in Gilgit-Baltistan is quite promising, and with the right
skills and dedication, freelancers can build successful careers and
make a meaningful impact in their field. .Freelancing is just like a
business where you can earn There is no lack of ability and strength among
the intelligent youth of Gilgit-Baltistan. and there is no shortage of potential
among our people, in the coming days the number of freelancers will
increase, which has eliminated unemployment in Gilgit-Baltistan.
