Nerd goose Pattern

Abbreviations (US):
Sc: Single crochet
Ch: Chain
Sl st: Slip stitch
Inc: Increase
Dec: Decrease (crochet 2 stitches together)
Sts: Stitches
R: Round
(...) : Repeat stitches within parentheses

Tools and Materials:


2.0mm Crochet hook
Tapestry needle and scissors
Fiberfill
3 mm safety eyes
Five-ply cotton yarn ( any color you like, in this pattern, I use red,yellow,white yarn)

Tips to read my pattern:


1: Unless specified otherwise, you need to make a slip stitch in the end of each Round, make a
foundation chain in the beginning of each Round, ch1, attention, foundation chain don’t counted
in total stitches.
If you are a beginner, please use a stitch marker to keep track of the first stitch in each round.
2: (3sc,inc)*3----- repeat what’s in the brackets 3 times =>sc,sc,sc,inc, sc,sc,sc,inc, sc,sc,sc,inc

3: (6 sts) ---- the number inside the parentheses ( ~ ) is the number of stitches you should have at
the end of that particular row

Cap: red color


R1: 6 sc , make a magic Ring (6 sts)
R2: 6 inc (12 sts)
R3: (sc,inc)* 6 (18 sts)

R4: 8sc,inc,8sc,inc (20 sts)


R5-R6: 20sc (20 sts)

R7: sc,ch3, repeat to the end, finish off, leave 25 cm long yarn for sewing.
Muzzle: yellow
R1: 6 sc , make a magic Ring (6 sts)
R2: 6 inc (12 sts)

Wing*2 white
Ch8, if you look at this chain, you will find it have below two side, you will see 8 “BUMPS” in the
back side.
Start from the second BUMP from the hook, 6sc, then crochet 3sc in the last stitch,

now turn to the other side of this chain, 5sc,2sc in the last stitch, sl, finish off, leave a long tail for
sewing (16 sts)
Make two wings in the same way.

Legs*2 Yellow
Ch7, Start from the second stitch from the hook, 5sc,
then crochet (sc,3ch)*3,sc in the last stitch,

now turn to the other side of this chain ,5sc,sl, finish off, weave in the end.

Head and body. White yarn


R1: 6 sc , make a magic Ring (6 sts)
R2: 6 inc (12 sts)
R3: (sc,inc)* 6 (18 sts)

R4: 18sc (18 sts)


R5: (ins,2sc)*6 (24 sts)
R6-R8 : 24 sc (24 sts)
R9: (dec,2sc)*6 (18 sts)
R10: (sc,dec)*6 (12 sts)
Fill the head.

R11: (2sc,dec)* 3 (9 sts)


R12-17: 9sc (9 sts)

R18: (2sc,inc)*3 (12 sts)


R19: 12sc (12 sts)
R20: (sc,inc)*6 (18 sts)
R21: (inc,2sc)* 6 (24 sts)
R22: 24sc (24 sts)
R23: (5sc,inc)*4 (28 sts)
R24-26: 28sc (28 sts)
R27: (5sc,dec)*4 (24 sts)
R28: (2sc,dec) *6 (18 sts)
Fill the body
R29: (sc,dec)*6 (12 sts)
R30: 6dec (6 sts)
Finish off, tighten the end.

Assemble
Shape your nose into a triangle and sew it on R6-R9 of the head

Sew the eyes on R6 of the head.


Sew the cap on the head, sew the leg under the body
Sew the wings on R20 of the body.
