Verb: A verb is a word or a combination of words that indicates action or a state of being or

Noun: A noun is a name of place, thing or animal. For Example: girl, school, pencil.
A Visit to a Beach
I love to visit beaches. I can spend many hours in the beach doing nothing. I go to the beach almost
every weekend. The sea breeze refreshes our mind. It relieves us of our tensions about studies. I
like to gaze at the horizon. I feel as if the sky bows down and touches the sea . I go with my friends
or with my parents. Last weekend I went to beach with my parents. There were many vendors on the
beach. I could see a few children making a sandcastle. The waves destroyed it. The kids were sad
for a moment but the next moment they decided to make a new one further away from the waters.
Old couples were sitting on the benches and enjoying the cool breeze. Far away in the sea I could
see a ship. A soothsayer came to me saying that it was a bad day for her and started reading my
palm. I went on a ride on the merry go round. It was almost 10 p.m, still there were people around.
I was feeling refreshed after the visit to the beach.
Activity:
Read the given story twice.
Write all the verbs & all the nouns on any A4 paper.

Activity-I
Title: To make a rubber band power car (toy car)
Materials Required: Popsicle sticks , rubber bands, bottle caps (same size) – 4, straw, glue
Steps of construction:
1. Take two popsicle sticks, and fix them with glue into a V-shape.
2. Stick straw on the ends of the ice cream sticks and insert tooth picks, make sure that
the tooth picks are longer than the straw to fix the bottle caps
3. Now fix the bottle caps on the four ends of the attached tooth picks.
4. Lastly put rubber bands on the rim of the bottle cap for smooth movement.

Title: My 5 senses | sense organs working model project
Materials Required: White chart paper, color paper, color pens, tooth picks, scissors
Steps of construction:
1. Draw the five senses on A4 size paper and color them.
2. Paste them on the color paper and cut the paper piece out.
3. To each of the senses flashcard fix a tooth pick.
4. Finally fix the flashcards onto the base.

Salah-Prayer
Salah means Prayer.
Salah is the second pillar of Islam. As Muslims, we pray to Allah to worship him. When we
pray, we can ask Allah for the things that we need or want and thank Him for what He has
given us.
We have to pray 5 times a day, These are Fajr, Zuhar, Asr, Maghrib & Isha
we can pray more than that if we want to.
Praying helps us remember Allah.
All Muslims pray facing the Ka’bah in Makkah.
We clean ourselves before we pray. This is called making wudu.
We can pray in the mosque, at home, at school, or at work… anywhere that is clean!
We learned how to pray from the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). We pray like he did.
