Role: Windchill PDM Technical Architect

Location: Aarhus, Denmark


Duration: FTC / Permanent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Windchill PDM Technical Architect to join our team. You will be
responsible for solution design, configuration, and customization of Windchill PLM (Product Lifecycle
Management) software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements,
design and configure system solutions, and ensure the successful deployment and integration of Windchill
into our organization's processes.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and analyze
requirements for Windchill PLM implementation.
• Define the System use case and technical user stories.
• Design and configure the solution in Windchill PDMLink, PartsLink and SUMA to meet business
needs. Including system configuration, customization and creating POC’s.
• Collaborate with client Solution Architects for defining the optimal solution based on the client
Platform setup.
• Collaborate with developers to design and implement Windchill extensions and integrations with
other enterprise systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to end-users, including training, troubleshooting, and issue
resolution.
• Create the required unit and business acceptance test cases.
• Participate in system testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability, performance,
and scalability of Windchill applications.
• Collaborate with project owners to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Creation of deployment artifacts and work with Platform team for the implementation of the
solution.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Windchill and PLM technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


• Minimum 8+ years of work experience (e.g., Wind Energy, Automotive and Aerospace preferred)
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Windchill PDMLink, PartsLink and SUMA.
• Minimum 5 years of Windchill development experience with strong knowledge on Technical
Architecture and Frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Windchill PLM software, including technical solution definition, configuration,
and customization.
• Proficiency in Java programming and Windchill customization using Windchill API and Java.
• Experience with Windchill data model, workflows, lifecycles, and access control.
• Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools and their integration with Windchill.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business requirements.
• Experience in SQL and creation of DB scripts for data extraction

Classification: Restricted
• Experience in GIT and Devops.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with
stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications in Windchill and PLM technologies are a plus.
