INTRODUCTION
1.1 Define the term adolescence and state two reasons why the increased depth
of emotional changes during adolescence can be difficult to handle.

 ADOLESCENCE: The transitional phase of growth and development


between childhood and adulthood.
 The intensity of emotions and the lack of experience and coping skills in
managing them.
 Young people aren’t always sure where they fit, and they’re still trying to
work it out.
1.2 What is meant by the term LIFE ROLES and indicate how teenagers could deal
with the changes in their current life roles as they navigate the new phase of
their lives.

 LIFE ROLES: The various responsibilities and identities that individuals have
in their lives.
 Teenagers must try to communicate with their parents about what it is
happening in there life.
 Teenagers must learn to be open with what is happen in their life so that
our parents can help us and give us advice so that we can have a better
experience.

different career fields during this time.

 It allows for exploration, informed decision-making real -world exposure,


networking, mentorship, and long term career planning.
 Allows you to get a move complete understanding of different
opportunities and judge which one is most idea.

2.1 Mention three negative social challenges that adolescents might


experience from their peer group.
> Pressure to have sex.
> Pressure to use drugs or alcohol.
> Pressure to bully others.
2.2 Identify possible physical changes that could negatively impact a teenager’s
relationships with others.
> Body odor: As teenagers go through puberty, they may experience an increase
body odor due to hormonal changes and increased sweat production.
> Puberty: significant physical changes such as growth spurts, changes in body
shape, and the development of secondary sexual characteristics.
> Family relationships are often reorganized during puberty.
2.3 Explain ways in which emotional changes during adolescence could make it
difficult for teenagers to make decisions regarding their future career.
> They are worried to meet new people.
> They are worried or they struggle in self confidence.
> They experience fear of failure.
> Difficulty regulating their emotions.
2.4 Discuss reasons how a need for peer group acceptance could lead adolescents
to behave in ways that could be detrimental to their future careers.
> Nower days peers push adolescents and tell them to disrespect them parents
and teachers and that can make their future careers bad.
> Many teenagers get dropout because of the detrimental behavior and that can
damage their future careers.

> Some teenagers are afraid to go to school because of they’re family money
problems.

what will happen after ten years and that can damage them and affect the tertiary
economic sector.
> Some teenagers they are addicted to drugs and alcohol and that can affect the
sector too.
2.7 Discuss how societal norms could negatively affect teenagers perception of the
responsibilities associated with being an employee.
> When norms downplay job importance, prioritize leisure, or lack clear
communication about work ethics, teens might approach employment casually.
> Peer pressure, stereotypes, and an entitlement mentality can also impact
perceptions, leading to inadequate preparation and a mismatch between
expectations and reality.
2.8 Recommend two ways in which teenagers could increase their knowledge
about different careers in all the economic sectors for informed decisions to be
made about which course of action to take.
