LESSON 1.
COMING SCHOOL.
Kalenga (a new boy in the send form), Mutombo (a new boy),
Soki (a new girl).
Mutombo: Hello, Mutombo,
How are you?
Kalenga: Fune thanks (panting at Soki)
Kalenga: It’s Soki
Mutombo: Hello, Soki, my name’s Mutombo
Soki: Hello, Mutombo. Are you going to school?
Mutombo: Yes, I am. Are you in the first form?
Soki: Yes, I am. Are you in Kalenga form?
Mutombo: No, I’m not, I am a new boy, I’m in the first form too.

Mutombo: I don’t know

Soki: He is got a big, bag in his hand
Mr. Kasongo: (coming into the classroom)

here’s your time table.
We have English on Mondays, and Tuesdays at twenty past ten.
On Thursdays and Fridays at ten past nine and on Saturdays, at
half past seven here are you English text-books now let’s do some work.

Soki: Look, Banda! There’s a pen on the four pick it up!

Mutombo: Don’t take that pen.
It isn’t yours, (Soki and Kalenga standing outside)
Soki: look at that big boy pulling Banda’s hair

Soki: In the classroom look! There they are.
Kalenga: That big bag wearing a Khaki shirt and trouser?
