Tabogon Cockfighting Resolution 2023

The barangay council of Labangon, Tabogon, Cebu passed a resolution to request approval from the Municipal Mayor to hold a two-day cockfighting event on November 1-2, 2023 at the Labangay cockpit area. The barangay officials approved the event to celebrate Halloween season. Cockfighting is a popular sport among Filipinos. The resolution requests the Mayor's approval and a copy will be forwarded to his office.

“A RESOLUTION REQUESTING APPROVAL FROM HON. FRANCIS EDWARD T. SALIMBANGON,


MUNICIPAL MAYOR OF TABOGON TO HOLD TWO (2) DAYS OF COCKFIGHTING, STARTING FROM
NOVEMBER 1 TO NOVEMBER 2, 2023, HERE AT LABANGON COCKPIT AREA”

WHEREAS, the barangay officials headed by Hon. Edgardo Ytang approved to conduct a cockfight in
celebration for Halloween Season;

WHEREAS, cock fighting is one of the favorite sports nationwide among Filipinos;p

NOW THEREFORE, on MASS MOTION and duly seconded by the SAME, and in consideration of the
above mentioned premises, it was;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to request APPROVAL from HON. FRANCIS EDWARD T.


SALIMBANGON, Municipal Mayor of Municipality of Tabogon, for the holding of Cockfighting activities
at Barangay Labangon;

RESOLVED, FINALLY TO FURNISH, copy of this Approved resolution be forwarded to the Office of
Honorable Francis Edward T. Salimbangon, for his information and most immediate favorable and
appropriate action.
