1 In Howrah Division, total 17 nos. of stations are identified as Amrit


Stations.

Howrah Division is executing the works for 17 nos of Amrit Stations. It


was informed that the 5 consultants for all the stations have been fixed
and the preparation of master plan and 3D façade views is under
progress.

2 12 m FOB Tenders have been invited at divisional level. Needs to be


finalized at the earliest and proposal of pending sanctions should be sent
to Railway Board on priority.5 FOB proposals to be sent to Railway
Board.

Exception List shall be prepared and send to Railway Board.

3 2 Stations (Howrah & Bandel) are under Master Planning.

KD-3 preparation needs to be expedited and finalized at the level of ZR.

4 It was told that Bardhhaman Station Building is in dilapidated condition


and was informed that Howrah Division will propose new work for
construction of new

5 A presentation on the master planning of few Amrit Stations was given


by the Architectural Consultant/s. Phase-1 works planned to be clearly
demarcated in the master plans

Holistic Master Planning shall be done at all Stations. It was observed


that the commercial area has not been marked in the master plan at
most of the stations. All the commercial area for phase-1 and future land
parcel provision should be properly marked in the master plan. Holistic
Master Planning shall be done.

Circulation Plan and Landscaping Plan to be prepared separately.


No master plan has been got approved from DRM/Howrah and GM/ER.
Approval of Master Plans to be expedited.

6 Civil & Electrical Tenders are yet to be awarded. Works at most of the
stations is under mobilization. GFC Drawings to be finalized and issued
to the agency for timely completion of work. S&T tenders under
finalization

7 Signage Layout Plan for all stations are yet to be prepared as per Railway
Board Instructions.

Further, tender for Signages shall be planned.

8 It was told that there is shortage of supervisors. Requirement of PSSA


and GC needs to be assessed. Accordingly, tenders may be planned.

9 Documentation of Existing station photographs are not being done by


the Division. It is a very critical item and need to be ensured for the
existing station as well as during the work in progress. The photographs
shall be taken from the same spot for better comparison
