Q. In today’s world, private companies rather than the government pay for and conduct
mostscientific research. Do you think the advantages outweigh disadvantages?

In recent years, private companies have been more in charge of scientific investigation than
the government. To consider this controversy in detail, I will elaborate on this essay. From
my point ofview, there are advantages over disadvantages.

To commence with, there are two main reasons why citizens hold the government
responsible forexperimental research. First of all, people believe that their taxes
contribute to practical activities,including research, inventions, and education. Perhaps
they want their people to have amazing accomplishments that they can be proud of. In
addition, it is assumed that the management of research will be more accurate if it is
carried out by the state. In fact, there is such an unethical experiment using animals and
even humans without the participation of the administration, as breeding two completely
different species. Thus, the negative impact on the social aspect is a possible
consequence of the less important role of the government in research activities.
On the other hand, it is justified for private enterprises to carry out scientific research
because of some opinions. First of all, they have enough money to conduct experiments.
While the government has funds to spend on multiple areas, these companies can invest in
a specific area. For example, Vision group annually raises funds to support scientific
research, as well as to improve
the healthcare system. Moreover, the training budget is actually replenished by donations
from both local companies and foreign ones, which means attracting foreign investment.
In addition, conducting research also helps private corporations to promote their reputation
among citizens. Asa result of this view, healthy competition between agencies can lead to
the development of the economy. In other words, the benefits of approving private
companies to invest in experimental research are significant, outweighing the
disadvantages.

In conclusion, it seems that the community benefits more when private businesses pay
more foracademic research. Meanwhile, the state plays a key role in governance.

Q. Today, people's life expectancy is much higher than before. Some believe that older
peopleshould continue to work. What extent do you agree or disagree?

It is irrefutable that the average life expectancy of people has increased with the
development ofmedicine, leading to new discoveries and treatments every day. I agree with
this statement that older people should continue to work until later in life. I will support my
point of view in the following paragraphs.

Firstly, if you look at it from the economic point of view of the country, raising the
retirement agewill help reduce the burden on the state to pay benefits to the elderly. For
developing countries, this is very beneficial, since the labor force will contribute to the
economy of the country, and thegovernment will need to spend less on retirement
benefits for the elderly, such as senior citizen discounts, health care benefits, travel
benefits, etcetera.

In addition, working until later in life will be very beneficial for older people on an individual
level.They will not have to depend on anyone for their necessities. Moreover, they will be
busy and involved in work, which will help to cope with the problems of old age, such as
loneliness and depression. These days, family members do not have time to spend with old
family members, which leads to older people feeling isolated. Raising the retirement age
will largely solve this problem.

Opponents of this view believe that older people are not physically fit for most strenuous
work. Some also say that since they have been working all their lives, it is time for them to
enjoy the lastyears of their lives, away from the pressures of work. However, I believe that
money is needed forpleasure even in later years. So even if they work fewer hours, it's a
must.

To conclude, raising the retirement age will benefit the country, society and individuals.
Voluntaryretirement offers can be created for those who wish to retire early for health or
other reasons.

A fair amount of people believe that if older people communicate more and stay physically
active, they will be able to lead a healthy and happy life, but most of them do not. In this
essay, we will tryto identify the reasons for this and offer some possible solutions for them.

There can be several reasons behind this trend. Firstly, many senior citizens live alone.
Their children migrated to the cities in search of better jobs. Hence, they are alone most of
the time. While going out and socializing with neighbors is still possible, many older people
prefer to staywithin their home. This may be due to the aching pains that affect everyone
with age.
Unfortunately, when they move little, their health deteriorates even more. There are also
pensioners who believe that they have fulfilled all their duties and have nothing more to do.
Theyalso tend to lead a life of passivity and solitude.

There can be some possible solutions to this problem. Government and private
organizations should give jobs to older people. This benefits both them and the
organization because they can stay mentally and socially engaged while putting their vast
experience and knowledge to good use.Senior people are experienced. They should be able
to use their knowledge and experience to theiradvantage. For instance, they may be
involved in social work. In addition, older people should do more hobbies that they are
interested in. Gardening, for example, can keep a person in good shapeand keep fit. In
addition, older people can join local clubs with their peers and friends to reduce loneliness.

To sum up, senior citizens lead a sedentary and isolated lifestyle mainly due to age-related
diseasesthat restrict their movement. They can solve these problems to a large extent by
participating in social work and pursuing hobbies.

Q. Some people think that the best way to improve road transport safety is to let the driver
testeach year. What extent do you agree or disagree?

These days, the number of traffic accidents around the world has increased exponentially
just because of reckless driving. Consequently, there is a growing perception that road
safety can only be improved by holding a driving test every year. Being a rational person, I
also agree with this opinion, because I believe that this will help drivers familiarize
themselves with the latest rules andregulations and test their physical ability to drive.

Among the arguments supporting my position is one concerning the importance of driver
testing asa way to check whether drivers are aware of the updated traffic rules. In other
words, the governments of every country are constantly trying to introduce new rules by
charging old ones in order to improve road safety. Thus, if drivers could not know the latest
laws, they would not be able to comply with these laws. Therefore, to ensure safety, drivers
should be tested annually. As
an example, an empirical study by the University of Oxford shows that 90% of drivers can
drivecorrectly if they pass the annual driving test.

Another important rationale for why drivers should take the test every year is necessarily
synonymous with testing their fitness. To be more precise, a person's health can deteriorate
at anytime up to the onset of certain diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, poor
eyesight, etcetera.
Thus, if a person could recognize his physical weakness by passing a driving test, it would
certainly reduce the chance of accidents. For example, researchers worldwide have found
that 35% of trafficaccidents are due to drivers' heart failure while driving. Therefore, at
least once a year it is necessary to check the physical condition by passing a driving test.

To conclude, every year drivers must test their abilities, learn about new things and test
theirfitness.

Q. Some people believe that youngsters should be required to have full-time education

Several representatives of modern society believe that teenagers should be enrolled in full-
time education after the age of 18. I agree with this statement undoubtedly and I am going
to state mypoint of view on such a question and give strong arguments supporting my main
position.

On the one hand, we can observe that many of today's freshmen are minors. Moreover, they
enrollin full-time education and study in the same way as other students. I assume that

person. Because of this, criticism is widespread, arguing that the role of advertisements,

benefit. While I agreewith this belief in the harmful effects of advertising, I have some
reservations about banning it altogether.

To commence with, we've been used to watching advertisements since more than three
decades. Interestingly, the role of the media has become extremely aggressive, so that in
most cases they annoy people when they watch any interesting content on TV or using any
electronic device. For instance, there are several brands of shampoos and hair dyes
approved by various cinematic fraternities. It is unfortunate that, as a social icon, celebrities
endorse such products without appreciating the harmful nature of the additives present.
Moreover, when people start using theseproducts, it leads to skin irritation and rashes
instead of giving the promised results.

Having said that, do advertisements really work for the benefit of people? If it does, it will not
needany kind of support in the media. For example, there is no such poster designed to buy
food from any established food outlet like Starbucks or Domino's. Therefore, people should
not fall into the trap of buying advertised products without weighing their health or skin
compatibility with these chemicals. However, if a product is endorsed by the government or
any civil society, we can buy those products after careful consideration.
To conclude, we can say that advertising is done only in order to make a profit, deceiving
the layman with incredible benefits. Before deciding whether to buy a product or not, it is
our responsibility to examine the advertisements. Therefore, I agree that advertising always
misleadsconsumers, and people should not fall into their traps.

However, the disadvantages of public university education are too many. One of the major
disadvantages is the decline in the quality of education. As more people go to college or

students. In addition, the value of education decreases. Universities become full of non-
serious students, just taking theirtime and dropouts also increase.

Nevertheless, the detrimental impact of bearing the tuition fee by local government also
cannot beunderestimated. Firstly, it will jeopardize economic growth. Since there is a lack
of public funds that could be directed to areas that directly stimulate the economy, such as
the manufacturing sector, the pace of economic development will slow down and impaired.
Additionally, the studentswho are exempted from this duty may not cherish the
opportunities of study as compared to bearing the cost by themselves, which leads to
wastage of educational resources.

To conclude, I would like to reiterate that though the education of government funded

and gases from overuse of fossil fuels. For example, in Norway, almost all car
manufacturers industries run on clean energy.
Some technologies maintain better environmental conditions and, in the long run, will also
be cheaper than traditional sources. This, in turn, will lower the cost of production and

To conclude, fossil fuels are beneficial; however, they also have a negative impact on the
environment. Therefore, I am convinced that instead of exploring uncharted lands in search
of oiland gas, we should invest in green energy technologies to make them more

the climate crisis continues. The increasing frequency and intensity of extreme weather

jeopardizing food sources and livelihoods. All of these effects increase the likelihood of
more conflict, hunger and poverty. Yet, those most at risk persist in spite of this, fighting to
grow food,maximizing dwindling resources and facing recurring disasters.

owever, global warming is negatively affecting the region's economy. Climate change is a
direct cause of soil degradation, which limits the amount of carbon the land can hold.
Some studies show that today 400 million people live in areas affected by erosion, with the
result that up to 30 percentof food is lost or lost. Meanwhile, climate change is limiting the
availability and quality of drinking water and farming land. In many regions, crops that have
flourished for centuries struggle to survive, making food security more precarious. Such
impacts mainly fall on the poor and vulnerable. According to a new study, the global
economy could lose ten percent of its total economic value by 2051 due to climate change.
The study also warned that this figure could rise to eighteen percent of gross domestic
product (GDP) by the middle of the century, if not taken into account.

To conclude, Climate change is the defining crisis of our time, and it is happening even

number of factors have led to this situation, and this tendency, in my opinion, is very
desirable for various reasons.

To begin with, people can buy the goods of the most international brands in their country,
since almost all of the world's goods are available in a country where free international
trade is allowed. This situation creates a tough competitive environment in the
marketplace, and companies are trying to introduce new inventions to attract more people.
This way, people get a better selection of products with higher quality and also at an
affordable price. For instance, Toyota, a well-known car company in Japan, has many retail
outlets in India, and it is much more convenient for Indians to buy these branded vehicles
without wasting travel expenses to Japan. Branded suits, cars and other items make
people and streets look alike, and I think this reduces discrimination in the world.

Furthermore, today global companies design and build many infrastructures, and they are
similarin appearance. In addition, the popularity of Hollywood movies and Western
celebrities inspire people around the world to follow a similar fashion trend. It also helps
to reduce differences between nations. This is useful for people visiting and living in
another county. They don't feel
much of a difference in their experience of living in a completely different neighborhood.
Again,this trend is driving the migration of people to various places in the world. In
addition, it also reduces the adaptation difficulties that people living in a new place usually
face. For example, Chinese people can consume their traditional food even if they live in
India, England, USA or Australia.

In contrast, globalization, which makes the world look like a global village, often results in
the lossof the cultures and diversity of many countries. But given the benefits it brings, we
have no choicebut to embrace this modern phenomenon. This can negatively impact local

As remarkable as the benefits may be, foreign policy can end a country's exclusivity.

culture can become dominant while others disappear. Once the culture of a region
completely disappears, it will completely change the virtues that globalization brings about.
For example, if local Vietnamese dishes such as pho disappear, so will the number of
foreign tourists decreases. Thus, the tourism industry in Vietnam will plunge into chaos,
which will lead to the collapse of the entire economic system.
To conclude, while globalization can benefit countries economically, those countries that

countries. At the same time,families are getting smaller. Couples are choosing to have
fewer and fewer children, and this hasreduced the number of young people. This may be
due to the widespread awareness that small families are happier. Hectic lifestyles and

Instead of buying handicrafts, people now choose to buy factory made products that look
more attractive. If local people lose their livelihoods, the purchasing power of the local
community will eventually decrease.

The only way for local businesses to compete with international giants is by offering
personalized services. While it is true that local merchants cannot offer the kind of
discounts or offers that multinational giants offer, they know their customers better. They
can also understand the exact needs of their target group. This knowledge actually enables
them to better meet the specific needs of their customers. In addition, local entrepreneurs
should try to improve the quality of theirproducts. This is important in order for their clients
to return. The government also needs to step inand prevent multinational giants from
infiltrating certain sectors.

In conclusion, when international companies attract local customers with large discounts
and offers, the local economy suffers the most. However, local entrepreneurs can

National History andYouTube, which offer a variety of topics suitable for people of different
ages. Children can learn a lot of knowledge about culture, science and many other fields
which are taught to them in schools. In addition, they can participate in online courses
favored by an increasing number of young peoplethese days. This type of learning is even
more beneficial in that children can flexibly choose to study subjects that interest them.

At the same time, I am convinced that formal education is irreplaceable in any society. It is
true that students can very easily learn at home using the Internet; however, the lack of

The country's transport system plays an important role in its growth for a variety of reasons.

his education and ease the burden of his parents. Higher education is very expensive and

university educationto everyone would be problematic and therefore should only be
offered to certain special people.

A good reason for this view is that having free higher education for all would put
tremendous financial pressure on the country. Universities will not receive income from
fees, and therefore,they will rely entirely on government funding. This requires
borrowing funds from other priorityareas, such as the health care system, to allocate
money to universities. For most countries, especially developing and underdeveloped
ones, this would not be a financially viable option.

Another point to consider is that providing free higher education to all people will tempt
many people to go to university, whether they are interested or not. In other words, rather
than taking ajob, some young people would prefer to get a degree to which they only apply
with little enthusiasm. This will not only be a waste of the country's financial resources, but
also a waste of human resources.

Finally, the best solution is to keep the university fees, but still offer scholarships to gifted
studentsfrom poor families. This ensures that talented and intelligent students who cannot
afford to pay fora college education continue to receive their education. As a result, society
will benefit if the right people are trained and valuable financial resources are not wasted.

To conclude, abolishing university tuition fees is impractical for many countries, but
providing freeplaces to certain students with limited financial resources is a much more
efficient use of a country's resources.

more traffic and getting news as quickly as possible. Oftentimes, a website publishes
news quickly in order to get ahead of others before it is properly vetted or even thoroughly
analyzed. As a result, crowds of people click on links to entertain themselves for a moment
without critically assessing the credibility of the news. These articles are then circulated
online or by word of mouth, and false information spreads quickly.
Despite the ease of use of online media, the news that is printed in newspapers is in most
cases better researched and verified. Newspapers often devote entire departments to
long-term investigative journalism. A prime example of this is the Boston Globe's decades-

thoroughly and collected convincing evidence that led to long-term reforms and

better understand their subject, historians are ready to do anything for the opportunity to

However, video is limited, especially in terms of access to important people and events

allowed to useother organisms to their advantage. In addition, they believe there are
several alternative ways toreplace these animals in tests. For instance, a computer
program that shows the suitability of a new drug for the human immune system can be
used for medical research. Thus, animals will no longer suffer from medical
experimentation, and humans will still be able to reap the benefits of medical advances.
However, animals have made a significant contribution to improving health, and there is no
alternative method yet that can provide the same results as animals in medical research.
Although some computer programs are used to conduct clinical trials, their results are often
ineffective whenthe drug is administered to humans. What's more, while humans benefit
from animal experimentation, other forms of wildlife benefit from the test results as well, as
these animals can also suffer from similar diseases that humans experience, such as
cancer and asthma.

To conclude, there are compelling arguments for and against animal testing. Although the

prices will largely
solve traffic and pollution problems, higher oil prices are not the best solution. However, I
believethat other measures are more effective.

The major reason why raising the fuel prices is not the right solution is that it is a short-
term measure. While this may reduce the number of vehicles on the road, it will have a
significant impact on the prices of food and other goods. For example, in India, my home
country, everythingdepends on transportation. If gasoline prices rise, market prices will rise
as well. This will lead to inflation in the market, which will have a big impact on how much
people end up paying for even apiece of bread.

The best solution is to find measures that work in the long run. For instance, increasing
investmentin alternative fuels and improving public transport are more effective measures
than raising gasoline prices. Traffic and pollution problems will not be solved until people
start using public transport. For this reason, the government should make public transport

According to some people, in the recruiting process, a recruiter should pay attention to the
personal qualities of applicants, and not to their experience and qualifications. I disagree
with this view because a qualified candidate has the right set of skills and understanding
that an unqualifiedperson might lack despite being friendly. Secondly, an experienced
person can bring new technological advances and has a lot to offer the organization. I will
support my point in the following paragraphs.

First of all, a highly skilled person has the right set of skills and knowledge to get a job.
Since this is a world of specialization, recruiters prefer to find / assign someone with
multiple skills rather than interpersonal qualities. For example, corporations tend to only
hire people who have a degree in aparticular field because they believe that person can do
a better job than a less skilled person.

Moreover, some recruiters believe that an experienced candidate can bring new
technological advancements to an organization. All the methodologies and processes that
an experienced employee brings with him help the firm improve its current business process
for more profit. Forexample, startups prefer to hire people familiar with their competitors'

be preserved better or not is an inevitable issue. As for some people, they believe that people
should pay more attention to protecting certain old buildings. In my views, old buildings are
worth conserving unless they have historical values. The consequence of it unleashes
tremendous benefits to the country and their citizens.

Firstly, in terms of culture, they demonstrate cultural deposits of the country. Take the Imperial
Palace for example, its abound of antiques which are handed down from the ancestors,
