Q. In today’s world, private companies rather than the government pay for and conduct
mostscientific research. Do you think the advantages outweigh disadvantages?
In recent years, private companies have been more in charge of scientific investigation than
the government. To consider this controversy in detail, I will elaborate on this essay. From
my point ofview, there are advantages over disadvantages.
To commence with, there are two main reasons why citizens hold the government
responsible forexperimental research. First of all, people believe that their taxes
contribute to practical activities, including research, inventions, and education. Perhaps
they want their people to have amazing accomplishments that they can be proud of. In
addition, it is assumed that the management of research will be more accurate if it is
carried out by the state. In fact, there is such an unethical experiment using animals and
even humans without the participation of the administration, as breeding two completely
different species. Thus, the negative impact on the social aspect is a possible
consequence of the less important role of the government in research activities.
On the other hand, it is justified for private enterprises to carry out scientific research
because of some opinions. First of all, they have enough money to conduct experiments.
While the government has funds to spend on multiple areas, these companies can invest in
a specific area. For example, Vision group annually raises funds to support scientific
research, as well as to improve
the healthcare system. Moreover, the training budget is actually replenished by donations
from both local companies and foreign ones, which means attracting foreign investment.
In addition, conducting research also helps private corporations to promote their reputation
among citizens. Asa result of this view, healthy competition between agencies can lead to
the development of the economy. In other words, the benefits of approving private
companies to invest in experimental research are significant, outweighing the
disadvantages.
In conclusion, it seems that the community benefits more when private businesses pay
more foracademic research. Meanwhile, the state plays a key role in governance.
Q. Today, people's life expectancy is much higher than before. Some believe that older
peopleshould continue to work. What extent do you agree or disagree?
It is irrefutable that the average life expectancy of people has increased with the
development ofmedicine, leading to new discoveries and treatments every day. I agree with
this statement that older people should continue to work until later in life. I will support my
point of view in the following paragraphs.
Firstly, if you look at it from the economic point of view of the country, raising the
retirement agewill help reduce the burden on the state to pay benefits to the elderly. For
developing countries, this is very beneficial, since the labor force will contribute to the
economy of the country, and thegovernment will need to spend less on retirement
benefits for the elderly, such as senior citizen discounts, health care benefits, travel
benefits, etcetera.
In addition, working until later in life will be very beneficial for older people on an individual
level. They will not have to depend on anyone for their necessities. Moreover, they will be
busy and involved in work, which will help to cope with the problems of old age, such as
loneliness and depression. These days, family members do not have time to spend with old
family members, which leads to older people feeling isolated. Raising the retirement age
will largely solve this problem.
Opponents of this view believe that older people are not physically fit for most strenuous
work. Some also say that since they have been working all their lives, it is time for them to
enjoy the lastyears of their lives, away from the pressures of work. However, I believe that
money is needed forpleasure even in later years. So even if they work fewer hours, it's a
must.
To conclude, raising the retirement age will benefit the country, society and individuals.
Voluntaryretirement offers can be created for those who wish to retire early for health or
other reasons.

Q. Some people say that if old people spend time and get along with others and exercise
everyday they will become fit. However, these days older people are usually lonely and do
not
talk to others which makes them unfit and unhappy. What are the reasons for this? How
can thisbe resolved?
A fair amount of people believe that if older people communicate more and stay physically
active, they will be able to lead a healthy and happy life, but most of them do not. In this
essay, we will tryto identify the reasons for this and offer some possible solutions for them.
There can be several reasons behind this trend. Firstly, many senior citizens live alone.
Their children migrated to the cities in search of better jobs. Hence, they are alone most of
the time. While going out and socializing with neighbors is still possible, many older people
prefer to staywithin their home. This may be due to the aching pains that affect everyone
with age.
Unfortunately, when they move little, their health deteriorates even more. There are also
pensioners who believe that they have fulfilled all their duties and have nothing more to do.
Theyalso tend to lead a life of passivity and solitude.
There can be some possible solutions to this problem. Government and private
organizations should give jobs to older people. This benefits both them and the
organization because they can stay mentally and socially engaged while putting their vast
experience and knowledge to good use.Senior people are experienced. They should be able
to use their knowledge and experience to theiradvantage. For instance, they may be
involved in social work. In addition, older people should do more hobbies that they are
interested in. Gardening, for example, can keep a person in good shapeand keep fit. In
addition, older people can join local clubs with their peers and friends to reduce loneliness.
To sum up, senior citizens lead a sedentary and isolated lifestyle mainly due to age-related
diseasesthat restrict their movement. They can solve these problems to a large extent by
participating in social work and pursuing hobbies.
Q. Some people think that the best way to improve road transport safety is to let the driver
testeach year. What extent do you agree or disagree?
These days, the number of traffic accidents around the world has increased exponentially
just because of reckless driving. Consequently, there is a growing perception that road
safety can only be improved by holding a driving test every year. Being a rational person, I
also agree with this opinion, because I believe that this will help drivers familiarize
themselves with the latest rules andregulations and test their physical ability to drive.
Among the arguments supporting my position is one concerning the importance of driver
testing asa way to check whether drivers are aware of the updated traffic rules. In other
words, the governments of every country are constantly trying to introduce new rules by
charging old ones in order to improve road safety. Thus, if drivers could not know the latest
laws, they would not be able to comply with these laws. Therefore, to ensure safety, drivers
should be tested annually. As
an example, an empirical study by the University of Oxford shows that 90% of drivers can
drivecorrectly if they pass the annual driving test.
Another important rationale for why drivers should take the test every year is necessarily
synonymous with testing their fitness. To be more precise, a person's health can deteriorate
at anytime up to the onset of certain diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, poor
eyesight, etcetera.
Thus, if a person could recognize his physical weakness by passing a driving test, it would
certainly reduce the chance of accidents. For example, researchers worldwide have found
that 35% of trafficaccidents are due to drivers' heart failure while driving. Therefore, at
least once a year it is necessary to check the physical condition by passing a driving test.
To conclude, every year drivers must test their abilities, learn about new things and test
theirfitness.
Q. Some people believe that youngsters should be required to have full-time education
until theyare at least 18 years old. What extent do you agree or disagree?
Several representatives of modern society believe that teenagers should be enrolled in full-
time education after the age of 18. I agree with this statement undoubtedly and I am going
to state mypoint of view on such a question and give strong arguments supporting my main
position.
On the one hand, we can observe that many of today's freshmen are minors. Moreover, they
enrollin full-time education and study in the same way as other students. I assume that
such a trend has a negative impact and triggers certain consequences. At first, students
may find it difficult to study university subjects due to their early age. For example,
teenagers cannot understand psychology.
Therefore, such a misunderstanding can provoke misconceptions about human
relationships andhumanity in general. Secondly, minors often study what they do not like.
Consequently, they mayhave problems with their future profession.
However, teenagers can choose different programs or internships after school. For
example, universities can organize courses for minors to help them understand what kind
of work they prefer. Similarly, such courses can prepare them to become a student and
become a participant in student life. To feel comfortable and not experience problems with
their studies, I believe that suchprograms can significantly help the younger generation and
they cannot make a mistake.
To conclude, I would like to emphasize that, having made these remarks, it is true that such
a trendis being criticized. Nevertheless, it is up to the parents to decide when their
offspring will be ready for university.
Firstly, since the beginning of migration from the countryside to the cities, large cities
faced undesirable transport problems. In fact, this problem mostly occurs before and after
working hours. Moreover, each giant company located in large cities has more than 10,000
employees. If these companies and their employees move to the countryside, traffic
density will decrease dramatically. For example, in Delhi there are still so many factories
operating in the city center, andthese factories cause traffic jams, instead, if there are no
more factories, not only people, but the whole city will finally be able to breathe.
In addition to transport problems, another major problem is the housing problem. House
rents andpurchase prices are constantly rising, in fact, the growth rate is higher than the
rate of inflation. In other words, people living in metropolitan areas cannot offset their
monthly expenses. In order to lower rental and purchase prices, some people have to move
out of the big cities. In addition, according to a academic article published by the Delhi
Technical University, in Delhi, about 8 millionpeople work in corporate companies. For
instance, if they all move from Delhi to rural areas, there will be a sufficient decrease in
demand, and due to this, both rental and purchase prices will fall.
To conclude, in the light of the above information, giant factories located in large cities are
one of the causes of housing and transportation problems. I firmly believe that if these
companies move their factories and associated personnel to the countryside, many of the
problems that have arisenin big cities will be solved.
Q. Some people believe that childhood is the best stage of happiness. While others
believe that aperson can enjoy more happiness in other stages of life. Discuss both views
and give your opinion?
People have different opinions about happiness and the happiest moments in their lives.
While many people find that they were very happy as teenagers, others find that adulthood
was more enjoyable than their teenage years. In my opinion, the happiest periods of life can
vary from personto person.
Every stage of life has its joys and sorrows. Many people remember their teenage years
with the greatest importance. There are several reasons for this. Most people would enjoy
a greater senseof freedom during their college or high school days. Since in those years
friendship and brotherhood were in the prime of life, many experienced joyful moments.
For example, college parties and sporting events were great ways to get together and
have fun. In addition, teenagers have far fewer responsibilities than adults.
On the other hand, adult life offers several positive and happy moments. Most adults
fondly remember their cherished moments, such as their first home or job, the celebration
of their wedding day, the birth of a child, and so on. With age, people also develop and
evolve qualities such as maturity and understanding. These factors can bring a sense of
satisfaction and stability, which in turn contributes to long-term happiness in many people's
lives.
To conclude, adult and teenage life has its fair share of ups and downs. While the lack
of responsibility makes life pleasurable in adolescence, it is the fulfillment of one's
dreams and aspirations that makes adulthood more memorable. In my opinion,
everyone should decide forhimself which period was the happiest in his life.
Q. The education of young people is a top priority in all countries of the world. Some
people believe that educating adults who cannot read or write is important to society and
needs morefunding. What extent do you agree or disagree?
It is an undeniable fact that the education of children is of paramount importance in this age
of fierce competition. However, some people are of the opinion that more money should be
spent oneducating adults who cannot read and write. I partly agree with this statement. I
will explain my ideas in this essay.
To inaugurate with, the progress of the country depends on the level of education of
children. If there are more children in the country to get an education, then there will be
more engineers, teachers, doctors and scientists. All these specialists will help boost the
country's economy. So, wemust ensure that more children are educated to secure the future
of the nation.
However, the adults who cannot read and write make up a significant portion of our
population. If the money is not spent on their education, they will not be able to make a
living in this competitiveworld. As a result, many of them will eventually turn to crime,
leading to an increase in crime rates. Therefore, it is imperative that we take urgent action
and invest in the education of these adults sothat they can find decent jobs for themselves.
In the end, they will be able to support the progress of the nation, and not become a burden.
In conclusion, I believe that an equal amount of funds / money should be spent on the
education ofchildren and illiterate adults, because the contribution of everyone is necessary
for the overall development of the country.
Q. It is not necessary to travel to other places to learn about other people's cultures. We
canlearn just as much from books, movies and the internet. Do you agree or disagree
with statement?
It is no longer necessary to travel to different regions to experience other cultural
differencesamong people, instead we can learn about such cultures from books, films and
the Internet.
Although the world is now globally connected through various websites and satellites,
travel is an indispensable experience. In my opinion, both approaches are equally
interesting and useful, butpersonal preferences differ.
Despite some problems, visiting remote places around the world can be very rewarding.
Moreover,it gives people opportunities that would otherwise be impossible if they stayed in
one place. For example, Forrest Gump became one of the most successful businessmen in
the world because he traveled to many countries where he found so many chances.
Therefore, there is no need to travel to other countries to learn about other people's
cultures.
On the contrary, traveling can cost a lot of money and effort. In addition, globalization has
made everything possible and knowledge of any field in the world does not require much
time, money orenergy. For instance, social media has made it easier to follow Paris
Fashion Week and even made it possible to participate virtually by leaving reviews and
submitting comments. Therefore, there isjust as much to learn about the world from books,
movies, and the Internet.
To conclude, while it is believed that it is very important to travel to different regions of the
globein order to gain some knowledge of cultural differences, others believe that we can
replace such aprocess with surfing the Internet or reading some books. Indeed, it is a
good idea to learn more about other countries remotely, but the physical experience of
landing in another country is an absolutely exceptional feeling. From my point of view,
flying to other lands can be as rewarding asreading a magazine or watching a movie about
them, and it's just a matter of taste.
Q. Some people believe that the best way to reduce commuting time is to replace parks
and gardens near the city center with commuter apartment buildings, but others disagree.
Discussboth perspectives and give your own opinion?
In developing nations, especially in large cities, some believe that governments should
restore public spaces to offices or buildings to solve traffic congestion and save travel
time, while others take a different view. This essay will analyze the advantages and
disadvantages of this consideredissues for drawing conclusions.
It is undeniable that the replacement of open spaces, such as parks or squares, with
metropolitanones is beneficial for residents of the center. Firstly, the main reason can be
called saving time.
Obviously, employees typically spend at least two to three hours a day commuting to work,
insteadof spending that precious time on other creative pursuits such as learning a new
language, painting, or exercising. Secondly, no transporting to workplace definitely helps
protect our friendly habitat. Driving short distances not only prevents a large proportion of
gas emissions emitted into the atmosphere by private vehicles but also significantly saves
transportation costs. Additionally, the government is not necessary to pay millions of
dollars for gas treatment processes.
On the other hand, although the recreational space removal plan has its economic benefits,
it alsoaffects people's healthy lifestyle and living environment. Without parks and gardens,
stressed staff
or overworked students cannot enjoy such active outdoor exercise and games with their
friendsand children. As a result, they find it difficult to balance their busy lives and may
cause some chronic diseases such as blood pressure or heart disease. Accordingly, this
renovation certainly harms our environment in various aspects.
In conclusion, I believe that there is a wide range of effective methods to deal with traffic
congestion by creating a better system of road construction or reducing carbon emissions
throughthe use of environmentally friendly electric vehicles, as well as public buses, since
the replacementof green parks and gardens with skyscrapers still contains both positive
and harmful effects.
Q. Some people believe that children should go to school at a very early age, but others
think that they should not go to school until they are older. Discuss both the
perspectives and expressyour opinion?
In today's world, education is seen as a tool for improving society by almost every person.
But the question at what age children should enter school is usually a moot point. Some
believe that the sooner boys and girls begin their education, the better. The rest of us think
that children should betaught by their relatives in the early stages of their lives. In this essay,
I will analyze both points of view and conclude that, in my opinion, babies should be kept
with their parents until they have acquired some basic rudiments of knowledge.
To commence with, the school environment is highly competitive. For example, issues of
harassment and violence in playgrounds are constantly raised. This could have been
avoided if students had been taught tolerance and acceptance of different people
beforehand. Therefore, these values should be offered at home by their next of kin, as they
are their parents and siblingsfrom a very young age.
Secondly, according to experts, games are an important factor in learning. For instance,
children begin to speak and recognize shapes and colors when they play with educational
toys at an early age. This is an educational strategy that schools have forgotten and is
difficult to implement in ourtime. Thus, providing families with suitable toys is much better
than separating their boys and girlsfrom them.
To conclude, starting school at a very early age is more like a way to get parents to get
back to work as soon as possible. Something that is very far from the welfare of babies,
as they must beprotected by their families until they can resist life.
Q. When new cities are planned, it is important to build more public parks or sports
facilitiesthan shopping malls. Do you agree or disagree with statement?
It is argued that when designing new cities, squares and gyms should be given more
importance than shopping malls. I understand the concerns of people who hold this
opinion; however, I believeshopping malls are just as important as parks or sports centers
in a city.
There are many reasons why sports facilities are so important to citizens. First of all, they
providepeople with the right space and equipment to exercise. For instance, people can
run in the park and play tennis and basketball in the sports stadium. This not only keeps
their body in shape, butalso lifts their spirits. In addition, parks and sports centers are
good places for people to socialize.People can communicate with each other while
playing sports or walking in the park.
Although parks and gyms bring all sorts of benefits to citizens, I think shopping malls are
just as necessary. Firstly, the shopping malls could make shopping more convenient for
locals. This would allow them to easily buy things in the city and have them delivered home
with less effort and less cost. They will not need to spend additional funds on transportation
or delivery of goods. Secondly, the mall can provide employment. Locals can find jobs in
retail or mall security and earn money to support their families.
In conclusion, although parks and sports centers serve as a place for sports and social
activities forcitizens, I believe that shopping centers are equally important because they
provide employment opportunities and convenience for citizens.
Q. Some people think that the individuals who make the most money are the most
successful. Others believe that the most successful are those who contribute to
society, such as scientists and teachers. Discuss both perspectives and give your
opinion?
In the modern era, the public still holds conflicting views about whether people with lucrative
jobsand significant income should be the most successful, or whether teachers and
scientists are the best answer. From my deep point of view, I believe that both concepts are
correct for several reasons mentioned in the following paragraphs.
To commence with, teachers or scientists will be admired and adored by the citizens for
the obvious invaluable contribution to the development of society that they have made so
far. Duringthe school years, teachers can guide students to develop and achieve the right
goal, as well as identify their personalities and inspire valuable knowledge. Hence, the ideal
civilization is co- created by mentors and others. From the point of view of scientists who
would dive into a huge workload such as experimentation and research. Their ultimate goal
is to come up with an invention that does wonders for human life. Take a look at the
invention of the telephone by Graham Bell, it has made our lives more convenient and we
can contact anyone without fear of geographic barriers.
On the other hand, while the rich are seen as selfish and do not sacrifice themselves for
society, they have certainly contributed a lot. In fact, they can create thousands of jobs,
which will help bring down the unemployment rate. In addition, they also pay a huge
amount of taxes that will be used for society, such as paying pensions to pensioners and
social benefits for the poor or disabled,or building public buildings. Their contribution may
not be as crystal clear as the above, but their significant contribution is still undeniable,
therefore they are the most successful, as they sacrifice for the happiness of others
without boasting about it.
To sum up, the teacher and the factory owner may differ from the approaches they take to
the development of the human race, however, in the end, they are trying to make a society
in such away that their knowledge or wealth is preserved forever.
Q. Public transport should be funded by the government so that it can be free for people
whouse it. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Some people have argued that public transport should be completely funded by the
state, while the government should really play a crucial role in public transport, I find it
hardly plausible andpractical to make public transport completely free for the public.
A more accessible public transportation system will benefit the city in many ways. First
and foremost, it is the most effective way to address the growing problems of traffic
congestion and airpollution. As the cost of public transport decreases, people are more
likely to reduce the use of private cars, thereby reducing vehicle emissions that lead to
toxic air pollution, mitigating congestion-related problems, and increasing productivity.
Moreover, the government could reducethe huge cost of building and maintaining roads
and bridges as the population moves from the private car to public transport.
However, the idea of free public transport does not work as well as people think. Firstly, it
placesan excessive burden on the state budget, as a result, investments in other sectors,
such as education, healthcare, and technology development, can be reduced accordingly.
In addition, it remains unclear to what extent public transport will benefit traffic and the
environment. Once public transport is completely free, the number of people who
frequently use public transport could skyrocket, which could undermine the positive
impact of reduced private car use and evenparalyze the system at peak times.
To conclude, while free public transport sounds plausible in theory, in practice it will
undoubtedly raise unexpected obstacles. To address the overuse of private cars, the
government could improvepublic transport or introduce stricter regulations instead of
providing free public transport.
To commence with, the expansion encourages the creation of new companies. To be more
specific, more talented teenagers are willing to start their own field, thus avoiding the elite
leaving the countries and hence boosting the national economy as a thriving film industry
can boost a country's position in the international market. Moreover, the film is an indicator
of public morality. If film production becomes active, the social morale of the nation will
improve. For example, the popularity of Hollywood film companies not only better
entertains locals in America, but also encourages foreign immigration.
Furthermore, the growth in the number of small film studios is expected to reduce the
unemployment rate in the country. For example, unemployed people can start a film
directing business if they are interested in acting. In addition, it gives more opportunities
for young actorsand actresses to express themselves on the screen. On the other hand,
cinema is seen as an art form and entertainment. With the positive development of the
film industry, the culture and traditions will be strengthened and thus provide the best
national rating in the world.
To conclude, the evolution of the film industry could nurture more elites and young talented
teenagers to participate in captivating films, which could then reduce unemployment and
boostsocial morality and the nation's economic market. Therefore, this new trend is
increasingly recommended as a positive achievement.
In today's world, everyone strives to earn more and lead a luxurious lifestyle. It is now
common tosee couples having children at a later/older age. The most important factor is
that they want to achieve their goals first. While there are several advantages to this trend,
demerits clearly outweigh the merits.
People have their own reasons for having children in their thirties or forties. Most
important among them is the desire to achieve financial independence before becoming a
parent. Parenting brings with it a lot of responsibilities. Since young couples are unlikely to
earn much, many of them are not financially prepared to welcome a child. Therefore, they
choose to have children at an olderage.
However, this development has many disadvantages. The outstanding one is that it
causes a lot of health problems if they choose to have children at an older age. This is
because fertility declines in both men and women with age. Thus, these reasons
sometimes lead to problems between
spouses, and sometimes can even lead to divorce. For instance, many couples who decide
to start afamily later in life end up opting for adoption because of their ability to conceive.
In addition, children conceived at an advanced age are more likely to suffer from genetic
problems such as Down syndrome. Thus, it has been proven that having children at an
older age can be harmful for both parents and the child. Therefore, I believe that this trend
has more disadvantages than merits.
Q. The key to solving the environmental problems is for the present generation to sacrifice
their convenient lifestyle for the sake of future generations. Do you agree or disagree with
statement?
The term "prosperous standard of living" is overused in almost all corners of the planet
Earth. As long as humanity remains accessible, more opportunities must be left for future
generations, as minimizing global problems requires effort. This essay suggests that it
would be great if the currentpopulation kept a balance in terms of demand and unwise use
of natural resources due to expected problems in the short and long term.
As a result of globalization, the pace of the modern age has gained a significant following,
while without one part of it, the status of popularity will decline. In other words, people
demand every single object, while the cost of need compulsively harms nature. For
instance, electronic devices - no one can imagine their life without them - are produced by
processing natural resources in combination, such as metals and glass. When devices
such as mobile phones or laptops are ready for use, the air will be poisoned, and the loss of
trees with irretrievable natural sources will remainunder eradication. In case the current
generation consumes in this way, future generations will suffer from a toxic atmosphere
and a lack of sources.
An uneconomical approach to food causes the fact that once the chain has made a natural
collapse, the previous state will never return. The proof is at the heart of the story that our
ancestors preyedon a variety of animals that cause deadly diseases—such as starvation or
the extinction of other species that cause malaria or plague—for extravagant needs like
clothing and food. However, if today's generation becomes wiser than expected, those who
come tomorrow will prosper with a hassle-free luxurious life.
To conclude, what we have got here, maximal call for contemporary items and unwisely
utilization of natural resources is believed to be the drawback when it comes to life and
environment regarding present and future generations. It would be very important if
peoples applied alternativemethods in the field of production and taught the population to
save the need for unimportant consumption in order to preserve the environment of both
generations.
In the modern era, the habit of children to spend their free time indoors rather than
outdoors is increasingly manifested. Outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing and
cycling are not their first option. In this essay, we will discuss why this situation occurs
and what can be done to change it.
In a rapidly changing world, most children are increasingly overwhelmed with hectic
schedules as they have many extracurricular activities, not only school duties, but also
language lessons, swimming lessons and others. For example, a young person who is
completely overloaded with weekdays will not have the strength to go in for outdoor sports
on weekends, in other words, he will want to relax. Also, most parents don't encourage free
time so they can appreciate sports. Forthese reasons, the practice of outdoor exercises is
not carried out with high frequency.
Parents should promote a healthy lifestyle by balancing school and home to inspire their
children inthe importance of sports. In addition, schools and health organizations can run
campaigns to support outdoor activities. For example, some international studies show
that when schools have avariety of activities, such as a picnic in nature, students show
much more creativity and learning abilities. Moreover, this contact with nature can improve
not only the physical health of people, but also the mental one.
To conclude, young people need to be responsible with serious responsibilities, but they
also needto spend their free time with their family and friends in order to maintain a
perfect balance. This essay discussed why they spend a lot of time indoors rather than
outdoors and discussed what canbe done to remedy this situation.
Everyone wants better health. It is argued that who is responsible for the health of the
populationis either the government or the people. In my opinion, both the government and
the public are responsible for the well-being of society. While the sedentary lifestyle of the
population leads to unhealthy diets, low taxes imposed by states on unhealthy foods and
sodas encourage their consumption. This essay will discuss the responsibility for the
health of the masses.
To commence with, in the contemporary era, a sedentary lifestyle has taken its place. Now
people, because of laziness, prefer to eat on the street, rather than cook at home. As a
result, a large amount of foods high in gluten are consumed, contributing to obesity and
other problems. For instance, a study conducted by the University of Cambridge in United
Kingdom shows that people who prefer junk food are more likely to be obese than those
who prefer home-cooked food. Thus, the habit of eating unhealthy food leads to a
deterioration in a person's well-being.
However, the government plays a role in public welfare. Because the authorities do not levy
significant taxes on carbonate drinks and packaged meals, making them easily accessible
to the public. Thus, nutrient-poor foods are promoted indirectly. For example, a survey
conducted by theUniversity of Oxford in the England shows that people choose cheap
carbonate drinks over expensive ones. Consequently, the government must impose heavy
tariffs on kitchens, which are detrimental to the public welfare.
In conclusion, both the states and the citizens have responsibilities towards a healthy nation.
Thepublic should opt for home-cooked food and the authorities should impose higher tariffs
on carbonated drinks and junk food.
Q. In many parts of the world, people do research for family history. Some people think
that finding for the previous generations is a thing to be useful, but others think that it is
better to befocus on present and future generations. Discuss both views and give your
opinion?
People all over the world love to know about their ancestors and family history. Some
people feel that it makes sense to research their family background. However, others
oppose this view. In theiropinion, we should focus more on the current and future
generations. In my opinion, it depends onthe humans. If someone really wants to know
about their ancestors, I don't see anything wrong with researching their family history.
There are several benefits to studying your family history. Many diseases, for example, are
hereditary. Someone who studies their family history will be able to identify illnesses that
are common in their family. This information will help them be better prepared to deal with
such diseases. Learning about your family's history is also a great way to discover your
family's culture and traditions. This research can help people stay attached to their culture.
Moreover, people feelproud when they find out that their family has a glorious history.
On the other hand, not everyone is lucky enough to have a glorious family history. Therefore,
somepeople believe that studying family history can reveal confusing or disturbing
information about ancestors. In their opinion, our present is much more important than our
past. Thus, they believe that instead of wasting time on family research, we should focus on
the present and the future.
After all the past is gone and there is nothing we can do about it. So it makes sense to focus
on ourfuture.
In conclusion, everyone has the right to know about their ancestors. This, however, does
not meanthat everyone should examine their family. People who are interested in learning
more about their families should be able to do so, while others should just focus on the
future.
To commence with, the great efforts improve the quality of the population. Once teenagers
havedetermined their own path, they will do whatever it takes to achieve their goals. For
example, a child has a dream of becoming a successful businessman, and in order to
make it come true, this child will definitely study hard to broaden his horizons. In the future,
this child will become a productive person and join forces in promoting the community. In
addition, a big goal can changethe way children think and act. From simple thoughts to
deeper thoughts, they gradually form in the minds of children when they think big. They will
become more confident, independent and responsible.
However, some adults believe that their adolescent may develop mental and health
problems if they are too stressed out to try to achieve their goals. Modern children have a
boring daily routine. They only go to school, then graduate and return home, but continue to
study. They learn like a machine, they do not or participate in fewer outdoor activities, their
days are not as colorful as many other children. Also, when they spend all their time sitting
and studying, they can have manyhealth problems, according to WHO.
To conclude, the issue is still half-finished. Children may get better, but they may also have
healthissues. However, they should still have ambition in the work, for it is better than in vain
and lost.
Q. Individual greed and selfishness has been the basis of modern community. Some
people thinkthat we should return to the old and more traditional values of respect for
family and local community in order to create a better world to live in.
Selfishness and greed have become social norm nowadays. Some suggest that restoring
traditionalvalues will improve lifestyles and have a positive impact on our immediate
community.
To conclude, I strongly reaffirm my position that traditional methods will restore a new
generation. It is certainly hoped that these proposed measures will bring order and justice to
these criminals, aswell as instill various life skills in them.
Q. Nowadays, more and more people decide to have children at a later age. What do you
thinkare the major reasons for this? Do advantages of this trend outweigh disadvantages?
In recent years, having children later has become a popular trend. There are several
reasons forthis phenomenon, and I believe that it has obvious disadvantages for every
family and our community.
There are two main reasons why more and more young people are refusing to have
children whenthey are in the early stages of their careers. Firstly, instead of becoming
parents at an early age, modern women are more likely to get higher education and want
to move up the career ladder. If they get married and have a baby, it will be difficult for
working mothers to divide their time to devote themselves to work and care for their
offspring. Secondly, young childless families may have a strong sense of self-satisfaction.
This leads to the fact that they prefer to enjoy life rather than raising children. For example,
modern women tend to take care of their body and communicate with friends more than
raising a child.
However, the postponement of childbirth is no longer a private affair of each family, but
also greatly affects the survival of the whole nation. This trend negatively affects older
parents and theirfuture children when wives decide to get pregnant. In fact, after age 35,
older mothers may face the risk of miscarriage or difficult childbirth. Moreover, if mothers
have easy deliveries, babies are at risk of developing Down syndrome. As a result, it could
negatively impact those who shape the nation's tomorrow and the quality of our future
productive workforce.
To sum up, there are several reasons why many people tend to put off having a baby in their
lives. Therefore, it can negatively affect every family and our society as a whole.
Q. Some people believe that if the police carry guns, it encourages a higher level of
violence inthis society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Nowadays, Armed Police Forces are playing a vital role in maintaining the security of the
communities. Nevertheless, a contentious debate remains as to whether their allowance
for carrying a hot weapon may have been an influencing factor in reducing the rate of
infringement or
is the motivation for higher crime. This essay will discuss the proposed topic from both
perspectives with some detailed explanations.
However, the crowd may be motivated to buy guns for themselves to ensure their safety. A
police officer with a gun can convey the need for weapons to the community living in the
area, which will lead to a significant increase in crime in the area. For example, by
observing the military forces in the region, settlers can be encouraged to buy armories as
an effective means of protecting their loved ones; Meanwhile, lack of knowledge about
these hazardous elements may have reversible consequences for the population, as it may
increase the threat to families in their homes, especiallythe younger generation. In addition,
it can be an extremely negative parameter for strengthening police officers with weapons
due to their destructive effect on the population, in order to provide cabinets.
To conclude, I reaffirm that the armed forces can both prevent atrocities and intensify
aggression in the zone; however, I strongly believe that the role of a lawyer with cabinets
can be more sacrificial. In addition, it is highly recommended to inform the nation about the
need to have warmweapons for the policemen, preventing them from buying weapons for
themselves.
Q. Whether a person achieves his goal in life or not is mostly related to luck. What extent
do youagree or disagree?
Many people claim that luck plays the most important role in achieving their goals in life.
Personally, I strongly disagree with this opinion, since hard work, determination and
perseveranceare more important factors than luck in achieving various goals.
There are many reasons to reinforce my point. Firstly, there are a few people who, no
matter what, reach the pinnacle of success through dedication and hard work. For example,
the difficulties that the late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam faced in his childhood; However, he
conquered all the formidable challenges through relentless perseverance and patience.
Needless to say, he achieved everything he achieved during his presidency and in his
scientific career.
Furthermore, everything that is achieved only through luck does not last long if successful
people do not make diligent efforts to maintain it. For instance, people open businesses for
their children;however, their business only grows if these kids dedicate time and show
dedication to their work.
To illustrate, people can make a lot of money through sheer luck; however, if they do not
knowhow to invest this money, they will soon squander it.
Moreover, there are people who are born with physical disabilities, but nevertheless they
have a success story. Take, for example, Helen Keller, who was deaf and blind, but through
her determination and unparalleled efforts became a prominent writer and political activist.
Althoughshe wasn't born rich, she fought hard and became the epitome of hard work and
determination.
In conclusion, I firmly reiterate that luck does not play a major role in achieving success, and
factorssuch as perseverance, purposefulness and dedication are more important in
achieving goals.
Q. Music has been and will continue to be the universal language of mankind. To what
extent doyou agree or disagree?
Music has always been considered the best platform for healing the troubled mind and
soul. Although there are many languages for communication, music in the past and
forever will be considered the common language of mankind. This essay discusses why I
completely agree withthis objective.
To inaugurate with, the fact that music includes various cultural aspects that allow us to
accept it asa universal dialect for communication. This is because any musical rhythm has
the power to propagate the purpose of its composition regardless of the lyrical terminology.
For instance the national anthem of India, which is always sung before a cricket
tournament with an opponent fromanother country, the spectators present at the stadium
pay tribute to this proud tune along with the Indian team. And for decades, the practice has
been observed and still remains in trend, which usually depicts respect for the culture of
other countries. In this way, music serves as a platform to bring nations together in several
ways through its melodies.
Another important meaning of music is the emotional bond it maintains among people. In
other words, saying that the words can usually be misunderstood, leading to weaker
relationships, but the musical expression overshadows the paucity of unintentional
negative conversation. For example, a person who cannot convey true feelings to another
person speaking a different language can easily share those emotions through a romantic
tune without being misinterpreted ina different context. In this way, universally numerous
styles of music can be used to create a stronginternal connection on a global scale, even
without using a specific style to communicate.
To conclude, due to the fact that the fusion of feelings that make up music is ubiquitous, I
stronglyagree that music from the past to the future will continue to be the global language
of humanity, serving as an outstanding way to exchange the expressions of humanity and to
build relationshipsaround the world.
It is clear that in industrialized countries the life expectancy of the average person has
increased more than ever. This phenomenon has naturally created some problems for the
older population and for society as a whole. In this essay, we will discuss some of the
problems associated with thisdevelopment and look at possible solutions to mitigate them.
To commence with, the elderly population will be a heavy burden on the country's economy.
This isbecause governments will have to spend taxpayer money on social security/medical
care for these people. For instance, during the COVID-19 pandemic, governments around
the world have had to spend extra money to protect the most vulnerable population - the
elderly. This will also create problems for the elderly themselves as they often find it difficult
to cope with the changing times.
Because older people are reluctant to change and embrace new technologies, it can
sometimes bedifficult for them to meet their basic needs. For example, many supermarkets
or transportation systems use automated billing and ticketing systems that can leave older
people behind.
However, some measures can be put in place. Firstly, governments and private
organizations mustchange pension plans. People from a young age should be encouraged
to prepare for post- retirement life. To clarify the situation, better start-up programs should
be developed in which certain contributions become mandatory for people starting their
careers. This will help reduce theburden on society in the future. Second, governments
should develop and encourage educational programs for older people. These programs can
help older people complete important tasks. For example, with the help of such virtual
reality technologies, special programs can be carried out in nursing homes or libraries that
can benefit older people in their daily lives.
To sum up, there is no doubt that with the latest innovations and better treatments, life
expectancy will continue to rise steadily. This will certainly create some problems for the
nations and for the elderly themselves; however, if the elderly themselves and the
government are betterprepared, these problems can be greatly reduced.
Q. Fresh water has always been a limited resource in some nations of the world. Today,
however, growing global demand has turned this problem into a global one. What are the
causes behind the increased demand and what steps can governments and individuals
take to address this problem?
In this contemporary era, natural water has become one of the major problems worldwide
due to its increasing demand as it is a limited resource. There are many reasons for this
rising demand, butvarious measures can be taken to overcome this situation.
The main reason for the causes is due to the rapidly growing population. It is a fact that
the demand is growing along with the population. Similarly, in many countries people have
to irrigatewater from underground, which will cause water levels to drop and may not be
available to futuregenerations. In addition, at present, science and technology have also
played a decisive role. Tonsof water are needed to carry out any activity. For example,
during a rocket launch, millions of gallons of water are needed to operate.
However, the authorities and the public should be aware of the long-term consequences of
this and join hands to eliminate such problems in the upcoming days. One notable
measure is that the government should distribute water equally with minimal use. The
authorities must find alternativeways to use water resources, such as storm water.
Researchers have proven that rainwater can be used for a variety of purposes. If people
properly maintain rainwater in their homes, then they can use it for their household
activities, hence fresh water will be conserved.
To conclude, it is the responsibility of both the government and the people to conserve
water, different methods can be adopted for this, otherwise our future generation will have
to face theconsequences.
Q. In most of the societies, the role of mother and father differs. What are the causes of
thisdifference? What will be the parental roles in future?
It is true that parents play an essential role for the development of their children. Both
father andmother are equally responsible for the physical, mental and emotional
development of the child. But still, most societies have different ways of thinking that their
roles are different. Therefore, here I would like to discuss the reasons for these
differences.
In most societies, especially in remote areas and villages, people believe that the role of
mothers is only to give birth to a child and to oversee his studies, food and household
chores, and the father isthe one who brings money for bread and butter and no need to do
anything with childcare.
Because of this, women are deprived of work and even education. The first and foremost
reason for these differences is that the people are illiterate and 62% of people are still
below the poverty line. Secondly, I believe that in these old-fashioned societies people have
no family planning, high fertility, so women are forced to stay at home and feed their
children. And the whole burden of child’s development falls on her shoulders, and men
have nothing to do except working and earning money. If women go out and work, then
older people are skeptical and scold them for theirlimitations.
However, the scenario will change in the future. We live in an era of globalization and
westernization in the 21st century. We are influenced by western culture. Nowadays people
are educated, literate, knowledgeable and broad-minded. Parents understand their
responsibility andwork equally for the holistic development of the child and conditions will
improve significantly in the future. Parents will plan things for a bright and brilliant future
for their children. And they will
be united and the child will not be deprived of his fathers love. Both will work so that they
can savefor their child in future and at present things are the same in urban areas.
To conclude, the modern society is witness to the changing role of men and women due to
genderequality. They have equal opportunities to handle childcare responsibilities. There
is a power in unity so we all should stand together to make those societies aware and
make an egalitarian society to make our children better person in future.
Q. Parents should encourage children to spend less time in studies and more time in
physicalactivities. To what extent do you agree?
In the modern world, admission to top universities is seen as a key step to success, and
many parents, in order to achieve this goal, force their children to study more. However,
some people believe that guardians should encourage children to exercise more, rather than
acquire knowledge. From my point of view, I agree that children should spend more time on
physical activity.
To commence with, a healthy body is the foundation for everything. As everyone knows,
physical activity gives people the opportunity to become stronger, which allows students to
learn for a long time and promotes the growth of children. For example, although a student
has excellent academicperformance in everyday life, his grades will be affected by fever in
exams. A strong body is more likely to survive in this situation. Thus, a strong body is the
most fundamental determinant of the success of every daily and academic task.
Apart from the points mentioned above, there are a number of benefits to focusing more
on sports. In addition to the health benefits of these activities, they can improve
adolescents' interpersonal skills and social circle, since most sports activities involve
teamwork. For instance, aVolleyball team requires 6 people. Teammates tend to have a
good relationship as they train together and collaborate with others. It also helps each of
them understand what a team is and what responsibilities it should take on. Therefore,
spending more time in physical campaigns can help you develop an understanding of
teamwork, which is becoming more and more important intoday's society. In addition,
complex development is increasingly welcomed in the modern world.
To conclude, I fully support the view that children should be encouraged to be more
physicallyactive in order to make the human body stronger and develop
comprehensively.
Q. It is crucial for all towns and cities to have large public spaces such as squares and
parks. Doyou agree or disagree with statement?
In this contemporary era, there was some discussion about the existence and necessity of
parks and squares in cities. While some people feel that these open spaces are necessary,
others insistthat these spaces make the land useless and therefore need to be used for
practical purposes. In
my opinion, parks and squares are of great value to both the city and its residents, despite
thevoices against large public spaces.
To commence with, open spaces have always been considered the heart of cities, where
people gather for meetings and leisure activities. In addition, children and their parents
spend a lot of timein these places after a busy daily routine. The growing pollution in cities
is of great concern to the government and townspeople, and places such as parks and
squares often provide recreation for the elderly. Moreover, such places attract tourists
because, as a rule, their creation is associated with history. For example, all European
cities are famous for their beautiful gardens and squares inthe city center. Thus, it is
absolutely imperative to preserve them for future generations.
However, it cannot be denied that the cities become crowded every day and there are not
enoughplaces for the construction of public and commercial centers. New transportation
systems are coming to cities and need more space to build stations and wider lanes. For
example, the construction of London was planned almost two hundred years ago, and the
roads in the city weresmall and narrow, and they were designed for carts, not cars and
buses. Later, London City authorities turned many of the historic parks and gardens into
car parks and highways. This transformation has been publicly criticized by civilians and
other city planners. Thus, destroying parks and other public spaces for ongoing benefits is
not a solution to urban space scarcity.
To sum up, our future generations need large public areas. Cities are facing significant
pressure tobuild solid infrastructure for growing populations, but this cannot be allowed at
the expense of parks and squares. Therefore, it is imperative to have huge public spaces in
cities and towns.
Q. Nowadays animal experiments are now widely used to develop new drugs and test the
safetyof other products. Some people argue that these experiments should be banned
because it is morally wrong to cause suffering to animals, while others advocate them
because of their benefits to humanity. Discuss both perspectives and express your own
opinion.
It is a fact that most medical products are currently tested on animals before they
enter the market. While some people have many excuses not to approve of animal
experimentation, Ibelieve such research needs to be done.
To inaugurate with, the opponents are of the opinion that animal testing should be banned.
Firstly, these people declare that all creatures have the right to play the same roles on the
planet as human beings, on an equal basis with their lives, therefore a person must respect
and not interferewith the existence of animals. In addition, pet advocates find it cruel to
hurt other animal species. To illustrate this case, these people said that they could not
imagine that their dogs were injected with some kind of disease, and then under the
pretext of treatment.
However, animal experiments are the only solution for finding out the safety of drugs, so
scientists inevitably apply this method. Proponents of these studies argue that animals in
laboratories are fedby humans, and their mission is to serve humans. Accordingly, these
animals must be ready to
devote their lives to humans. Moreover, I believe that researchers are unlikely to torture
animals, but at the moment there is no alternative. Hence, humans must rely on such
creatures until scientists find more humane dimensions.
Q. Some employers are giving more value on hiring people with good social skills apart
fromgood qualifications. Do you agree or disagree that social skills are just as crucial as
good qualifications for success at work?
In this contemporary era, there has been a growing trend among employers to hire people
with excellent social skills. In fact, some employers place more emphasis on social skills
than academic qualifications. Some people, however, argue that a person's educational
qualifications should be the main deciding factor in the hiring process. I disagree with this
view because in our modern era, social skills are essential for survival in the workplace.
To inaugurate with, there are many reasons why companies prefer employees with good
social skills. First, thanks to globalization, local businesses now have to deal with
multinationals. Good communication and negotiation skills help improve trade relations.
Thus, in order to expand their business around the world, companies are hiring people with
good social skills. For example, thereis a thriving call center industry in India right now. If
anyone wants to find a job in this sector, a good command of English is required.
On the other hand, there is another reason to hire employees with good social skills. The
various departments of modern organizations are interconnected, and thus good rapport
between these departments is essential for improved productivity and smoother
functioning. For example, in many enterprises, the IT department must work with the HR
department and the marketing department. In this situation, employees' lack of good
communication skills can lead to conflict andchaos.
Although, there is an important argument against the emphasis on social skills. The basis of
a successful business is the intellectual strength of its employees. You can't make great
products withsocial skills. This requires technical and academic knowledge.
No one can deny the importance of perspective. Therefore, many people are making
predictionsand planning their lives. Furthermore they pay more attention to the event than
the present.
Consequently, some stars think that tomorrow is precious and important. In addition, some
peoplesee that people and society should pay more attention to the future rather than the
present. For several reasons. I will demonstrate these objectives.
To inaugurate with, the first motive is that if someone focuses on the future, they will get
some ofthe amazing and amazing things. For example, if he focuses on tomorrow, he will
achieve a lot.
Also he will gain an experience and he will collect a lot of money. It all depends on his job of
collecting all these things. Moreover, many people choose not to regret the past. In addition,
theylook forward to the coming days. In this regard, the planned is an important and
responsible thing.Accordingly, they ask for a rule to shed light on the inevitable rather than
the present. As a result, people and societies will have wonderful consequences that will be
beneficial and beneficial to society.
Let's note the miraculous results that will happen if the authorities and individuals pay
more attention to what is looming. For instance, if the government plans to cultivate a
acres, it will hiremany young people. Additionally, they will export their vegetables abroad
for effective pricing, which is really helpful for boosting the economy of the country.
Q. Environmental issues such as pollution and climate change affect all people in the
world. While global solutions are being made to mitigate these problems, the solutions
are not ineffective. Why are the solutions ineffective? How can these problems be
resolved?
In addition, the governments of most countries, rich and poor alike, are facing a strange
dilemma.Whether to comply with global obligations to transform existing industrial and
agricultural structures, which in many countries are too primitive by current standards; And
changing it will prove costly to economies and face the wrath of local residents as well as
the local population, ormeet local aspirations. However, existing and emerging issues can
be addressed amicably by developing sensitivity to each other and setting goals,
appreciating the gravity of the current situation, which are not too high and require gradual
implementation of decisions.
To conclude, I personally believe that no goal, especially one related to environment and
pollution, can be achieved provided we approach them with determination.
Q. People nowadays sleep less than they used to in the past. What do you think that is
thereason for this? What are the consequences for the people and people around them?
It is true that our sleep patterns have changed significantly over the past five decades.
Nowadays people sleep much less than their ancestors. Personally, I think this is due to the
growing stress andimpact of the digital age. However, this phenomenon has serious
consequences for people and society.
To commence with, today's competitive and hectic lifestyles require people to be more
attentive than ever before. Today, people are constantly striving to meet their basic needs
and achieve their goals, and as a result, they have less time to sleep. Less sleep is
considered a virtue these days. For instance, the most famous personalities with amazing
accomplishments, such as Mark Zuckerberg, take pride in shortening their hours of rest as
the key to their success. Moreover, the computer agehas surrounded us with a huge number
of screens that strongly influence our conscious brain.
Research has shown that blue light from computer screens, televisions and mobile
phones wakesup the brain and keeps it awake.
On the other hand, this trend is a serious problem that negatively affects the well-being of
communities. For example, fewer hours of sleep can cause fatigue, depression, loss of
concentration, and many health problems, including obesity, diabetes, and high blood
pressure. Allof these problems will ultimately lead to the weakening of low productivity
societies. Thus, gettingenough sleep is vital for people and nations.
To conclude, after examining why people sleep less and what problems it causes, it is hoped
thatgovernments around the world will launch educational campaigns to educate the public
on the importance of proper sleep.

Q. Some companies sponsor sports and sports stars to promote themselves. Some
people think that it's good, while other believe that there are disadvantages. Discuss both
views and give youropinion?
Sponsoring an athlete or sporting event is a way to make a brand and product popular and
attractcustomers around the world. While this practice has tremendous advantages, it also
has several disadvantages.
When companies sponsor sporting events or sports teams, organizers don't have to worry
about funding. For instance, major events like the FIFA World Cup or the Olympic Games
have many sponsors. These companies incur high costs and play a huge role in the
commercial success of theevent. Sponsorship is also a great way for sports teams from
poor countries to fund their campaigns. Without sponsorship, many of these countries will
not be able to send their teams to international events such as the Olympic Games.
Sponsorship also allows athletes to generate additional income. The prospect of winning
brand deals is driving many young people to take up sports as a career.
However, when the wrong company associates itself with a major sporting event, it can
discredit the event. For example, it is not uncommon for tobacco or alcohol companies to
sponsor sporting events. Since the majority of the audience for such events are young
people, this is the wrong signal for society. Athletes and teams also often recommend soft
drinks like Coca-Cola and Pepsi, although they are unhealthy. In addition, sponsorship can
sometimes lead to unethical practices such as match-fixing. When big companies sponsor
teams, they want their team to win at any cost, and to do so, they can even buy out players
from the opposing team. This practice kills the very essence of the sport. Sometimes
players hired by companies are caught doing things that do not match their image, in
which case this also damages the reputation of the company. Sponsored money can also
cause players to lose focus on the game.
In conclusion, when companies sponsor sporting events or teams, both win. Companies
gain thebrand awareness they need, and teams no longer need to worry about allocating
funds. On the other hand, sometimes players recommend wrong products or companies
hire players who do more harm to their brand than good.
Q. International travel has become cheaper these days, more and more nations are
opening theirdoors, and more tourists are traveling abroad. Do the advantages of tourism
growth outweigh the disadvantages?
There are many countries in the world that depend on tourism. Tourists are inevitably
allowed to such countries. I believe that the advantages of travelers visiting a country
matter more than its disadvantages. This essay will reveal the fact that tourism should be
promoted for obvious reasonsnot mentioned below.
To commence with, let's start with the positive side of this idea. Firstly, people who visit the
country will spend money on many activities that will help in the growth of the economy.
Secondly, through these activities, the local community learns about the culture of different
peoples. Third, itprovides the host country with a variety of business opportunities. For
example, a recent magazinearticle published 10 pages on the benefits of tourism in the
Middle East.
On the contrary, the other side of the coin must not be overlooked. Undoubtedly, there are
certainundeniable disadvantages associated with a visit by a foreigner to another state.
One of the reasons is that they become carriers of certain diseases for which we are not
ready. This can createunimaginable situations. Another reason is that foreigners do not
comply with local regulations andspread pollution. For example, in the past year, some
foreign visitors spread Coronavirus to the local population of the host country, and local
authorities had to fight to get the vaccine introduced.
To conclude, given the aforementioned advantages, which are stronger over the
disadvantages, wemust promote visitors from overseas. However, we must take
precautions to remedy the aforementioned deficiencies, which can be dealt with through
strict laws.
Q. Human activity has had a negative impact on plants and animals around the world.
Some people believe that it is too late to do something while others believe that actions
can be takento improve the situation. Discuss both the perspectives and give your
opinion.
There is no doubt that some of our activities have a detrimental effect on our planet. While
somepeople believe that nothing can be done to address the negative impact of human
activities on wildlife, I strongly argue that several measures can be taken to address this
issue.
To inaugurate with, some people believe that the destructive impact of some of our actions
on wildlife cannot be reversed. In their opinion, this is due to the fact that many species of
plants andanimals have already disappeared from our world and it is impossible to return
them. For instance,in 2018 a United Nations study showed that several species have
disappeared from our ecosystemdue to deforestation. This clearly shows the depth of the
negative impact of our activities on wildlife. So, according to these people, nothing can be
done to reverse the problem.
However, I insist that there are many measures that governments and individuals can take
to stopthe negative impact our activities are having on our planet. Above all, governments
around the world must unite to tackle deforestation. This is because it is the main reason
for the extinction ofendangered species. For example, the South African government
outlawed deforestation in 2017,and the results since then have been impressive: many
species have been saved from extinction and soil erosion has been stopped. As a result,
endangered species are no longer disturbing their habitat and crop production has
increased. Humans can also spread the word about the devastating impact some of our
actions are having on the planet. Obviously, there are many morethings we can do to fix
this problem.
To conclude, I definitely argue that there are several things that governments and
individuals can do to stop human activities that are devastating to our planet. Outlawing
deforestation and spreading awareness among people about the need to protect wildlife
are the actions that need tobe taken.
. These days, more father's stay at home and take care of their children, and mother's go
towork. What could be the reasons for this? Do you believe that this is a positive or
negative development?
Nowadays, more and more women are choosing their careers over motherhood, and more
often men are found with responsibilities related to raising children and caring for the home.
This trend has been amplified in recent years by feminist movements that have emerged in
recent years claiming that men and women have the same rights and the same
responsibilities when it comes tofeeding their family tables and educating their child. In this
essay, I will explain why these phenomena have a positive effect on our society.
To commence with, the fact that women are now taking leading roles in companies affects
positively the household environment since kids, especially girls grow up looking at the
example oftheir mother being an independent and self-sufficient woman that is capable of
supporting their home the same way their dad does. For example, in the unfortunate case
that the parents get divorced or the father is unable to work due to a significant reason
such as illness or death, the mother is adequately prepared to play her role and vice versa
which creates an atmosphere of confidence and trust in the household.
Furthermore, both parents can share and nurture their children because they spend the
same amount of time and activities with them. For instance, in the past, the boy hardly
knew his fatherbecause he was the one who was always in the office, hence the only adult
they were close with was his mother. Therefore, when mothers are not working, fathers
have the opportunity to establish this connection with their teenager.
In conclusion, we note that the fact that women put their profession above housework
gives fathers the opportunity to get closer to their children and take actions that will
strengthen theirrelationship, and on the other hand, women look at them as equal and
independent. like men.
Q. In many countries, the law says that youngster must attend school or college until they
become 18. What are the advantages or disadvantages?
In most countries, students are required to complete secondary education before going to
work. Even some people feel that they should be allowed to drop out to pursue their own
interests, I stillagree that compulsory education until maturity is an integral part of our
teenagers, as they can acquire the versatile knowledge and social skills necessary to survive
in modern world.
To commence with, secondary education is essential for students to get better
opportunities after graduation. For example, learning an international foreign language like
English allows them to communicate and work with people all over the world. This can
increase their competitiveness in the labor market and they may even work abroad.
Consequently, students must remain on campusuntil the age of 18.
In addition to this, campus life is vital for the personal development of our younger
generation. We, as humans, are social animals that depend on each other. It is very
important for young peopleto develop the ability to communicate. For instance, connecting
with peers and teachers can help them become familiar with social life, which will be a
valuable experience in the workplace. As a result, secondary education should be
compulsory for everyone.
To conclude, knowledge from textbooks and classes, as well as from community life on
campus, isbeneficial for students as they gain more opportunities and get along with
their peers and others. Therefore, the authorities should prohibit students from dropping
out of high school before they grow up. However, more and more students are projected
to drop out before graduation for a variety of reasons.
Q. Mostly people are becoming seriously overweight. Some say that raising the price of
fattyfoods will solve this problem. To what extent do you agree or disagree with essay?
In many countries of the world, a large proportion of people are obese. Some people argue
that increasing the price of high-fat foods will reduce their consumption and thus solve the
problem ofoverweight people. I disagree with this opinion because some people are
addicted to fast food, which has a high fat content, and simply raising the price will not
reduce their consumption. Thereare a few more additional reasons for my point of view that
will be laid out in this essay.
The most compelling reason why I hold my point is that many young people are not ready
to give up ready-made food and its unique taste just because of the rise in price. Therefore,
they continueto eat high-fat foods and ignore their health problems. For example,
McDonald's stores around theworld supply foods that are high in saturated fat. However,
research has shown that most people prefer McDonald's food to the healthy alternative
because of its distinctive taste. Thus, people arewilling to buy these products even at a
higher price.
Furthermore, fatty foods are not the only cause of obesity in humans. Currently, a large
number of people lead a sedentary lifestyle, which is considered one of the main causes of
obesity. Thus, exercise plays a vital role in maintaining health. For this reason, raising the
price of fatty foods doesnot just solve the problem of being overweight.
In conclusion, I completely disagree with the opinion that increasing the cost of fast food is
the ideal solution to tackle the problem of overweight among people. People are willing to
pay a higherprice for foods that are readily available and taste good, even if the fat content
is higher. In
addition, I believe that encouraging / promoting exercise is more important for maintaining
bodyweight than regulating fatty foods.
Q. World would be a better place if women own the leadership. Do you agree or disagree
withstatement?
Some believe that male leaders are responsible for the aggression and constant tension
betweencountries, while others think that if women were elevated to higher positions, we
would have a more peaceful society. Personally, I disagree with the point of view that only
women can lead a team without any illegal actions. Indeed, under the leadership of women
there have been many wars of fear with painful consequences.
Unluckily, it is absurd to argue that a female leadership model will make the world more
peaceful.By this I mean that history shows that women leaders can also make the
belligerent decisions thatmen make, despite repressive conditions and provocative
actions. For instance, Queen Victoria, after becoming Queen of the United Kingdom, also
invaded India, China and many other countriesin a row. In fact, this is a clear sign that a
woman leader cannot guarantee a peaceful society.
Moreover, conflicts often arise due to inability or poor leadership qualities to manage their
management. This means that the failure of leaders, regardless of gender, causes many
problems, leading to people's dissatisfaction and a decrease in the level of public confidence
in government, which can lead to chaos, clashes and conflicts. For example, many countries
such as India, Pakistanand Bangladesh were ruled by women leaders, and yet violence and
conflict increased during theirtime. Furthermore, women cannot prioritize their feminine
feelings when making policy. In other words, a leader, either male or female, needs to act
according to the situation to bridge the gap between the genders.
To conclude, a country's ability to avoid and prevent conflict and violence depends on the
ability ofleaders to govern the country. In my humble opinion, it is unreasonable to say that
men with their masculinity bring violence, and women with their femininity can bring peace
to people.
Q. Employers should focus on personality rather than qualifications and experience when
choosing someone to work.. To what extend do you agree or disagree with statement?
A fair amount of people insist that companies should pay more attention to the personal
characteristics of candidates than to their professional competence. I can only partially
agree withthis point of view, because both professional qualifications and personal qualities
are equally important for a person to achieve success at work. In this essay, I substantiate
my point of view.
To commence with, the competition between companies is intensifying these days. To
provide their clients with the best possible results, organizations look for the most
talented people. As such, professional experience is undoubtedly crucial for the hired
people. Lack of sufficient job
knowledge creates inequalities among employees, and this will be an overhead for both the
company and the worthy candidates. If less skilled people are hired, many bright minds miss
theopportunity. Likewise, companies suffer huge losses when they spend money on
unskilled staff.
However, there are several other aspects that are just as important as qualifications. First
of all, noone wants to work with an unfriendly, selfish and arrogant person who never
applauds others for their success. Conversely, recruiting friendly, transparent and
humorous team-players builds harmony in the workplace. In addition, they must be
dynamic, adaptable and ready to learn new things. Even if job seekers are less qualified for
the job requirements, but if they are enthusiastic and have a strong desire to learn, they will
undoubtedly be an asset to the company. Global giantssuch as Amazon and Google are
conducting interviews known as the leadership principle round, which assesses
candidates' ability to work under pressure and their ability to adapt to an organizational
work culture. Likewise, the human resources team collects information such as family
backgrounds and hobbies of respondents as they provide insight into the nature of their
potential employees.
To conclude, I firmly believe that appropriate academic qualifications and work experience
help anindividual perform to the best of their ability. Personal qualities cannot be ignored,
however, as teamwork is the norm in most jobs.
Q. Many people believe that playing games and watching TV programs is beneficial but
otherssay it doesn’t improve mental ability of children. To what extent do you agree or
disagree?
Most children now spend an incredible amount of time in front of the television or
computer. Theyare always glued to their screens. Looking at the screen does not use the
brain. Several studies have shown that when children watch television or play computer
games, their brain activity is minimal. When the brain is inactive for a long time, it affects
the intellectual development of the child. Therefore, I agree with the argument that
watching television or playing video games does not improve the mental or intellectual
skills of children.
To embark with, when a child sits for hours staring at a computer screen, very few
areas of the brain are activated. In contrast, activities such as reading or writing
activate many areas of the brain. Activities that engage the brain improve a child's
intellectual and cognitive skills. Physicalactivities also promotes brain development.
When children watch TV, they do not move their limbs much. They don't even blink. They
just lookat the screen. This content consumption is bad for the brain. In fact, research has
shown that children who stay active through physical activity or creative pursuits such as
writing, singing, or drawing are smarter than those who sit in front of the TV for hours. All
this screen time also causesthem several health problems. For instance, most children
face the problem of obesity. They may even develop major diseases like breathing
problems, heart disease and diabetes.
In conclusion, our bodies and minds are not meant to be idle for long periods of time. If we
keep them calm, our intellectual abilities will suffer. Therefore, I agree with the statement
that watchingTV does not contribute to the development of the brain in children. Our brain
is a large muscle. If we work on it, it will develop. But if we leave him idle, he will begin to
lose his abilities.
Q. Some people believe that it is unnecessary to teach children about handwriting skills in
ourmodern age. To what extend do you agree or disagree?
In this contemporary era is an era of modernization, technology plays a vital role in a global
perspective. A fair amount of people believe that traditional skills such as handwriting
should be replaced with new technological equipment. I completely disagree with this notion,
as calligraphyskills are essential for teenagers to acquire basic knowledge in any language.
To commence with, a adolescent begins his educational journey by holding a pencil and
drawing irregular patterns on the walls. Furthermore, in accordance with this physical
influence of the fingers, the nervous system of the child's body begins to activate and
accordingly work with the brain cells. As a result, their language skills begin to develop
effectively and efficiently. For example, it is a proven fact that children find it easier to
express their thoughts when they are fullycapable of writing, rather than using electronic
devices such as laptops and mobile phones.
In addition to the details above, many infants use electronic screens and keyboards to
submit written work, such as thesis and assignments online. As a result, they spend more
time in front of blue screens, which is very harmful to the eyes and ultimately leads to visual
impairment. For instance, a study by the University of Pennsylvania found that most
schoolchildren were victims ofpoor eyesight and were more likely to use specs from an
early age.
To conclude, although some people wanted the youth to get used to modern instruments
insteadof following the traditional writing method, however, I completely opposed the idea
as there are harmful issues that badly affect the health of teenagers.
Nowadays, almost everyone follows the latest fashion trends. For example, we need the
latest gadgets that our friends are already using. Our clothing choices are influenced by
what celebritieswear. This is a clear sign that people enjoy imitating others.
To inaugurate with, we copy because we want to match. We don't want to stick out like a
sore thumb. For instance, no one, not even those who wear casual clothes all the time, will
wear a T- shirt and jeans at a party where the dress code is formal. This is because we
desperately need to beaccepted. We don't want others to scoff at our clothing style or
other choices. We want to be perceived as fashionable, stylish and trendy.
The tendency to follow fashion trends stems from the basic insecurities of the individual.
We are concerned that if we don’t do what others do, or don’t wear what others do, we may
become lessacceptable. We follow celebrities because they already have millions of fans.
As a result, there willbe many takers of whatever they support. It is also a way to certify
that what we are buying is a popular product. Nobody wants to spend money on something
that no one else wants to buy.
Being trendy is also a great way to make sure a product is good or bad, not just spending
money onit. In a sense, this justifies the purchase. So if everyone has the latest iPhone,
that's a great reason for us to get one too. Worse yet, not having it can be a sign that we
cannot afford it.
In conclusion, humans are social animals who crave appreciation and recognition. The
easiest wayto do this is to do what others are doing. Following fashion trends is simply an
expression of fittinginto this basic human urge.
Q. Some people consider that planning for the future is a waste of time and that it is more
essential to focus on present. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It has often been argued that wasting time planning for the future is useless and that
present workshould be preferred instead. I totally disagree with this point of view and will
detail my point of view in this essay.
To inaugurate with, planning for the future is like a direction in life. If a person has not
spent timesetting goals, this is tantamount to a meaningless life. Actions in the present are
highly dependenton what you want to achieve in the future. For instance, students wishing
to enroll in one of the best engineering universities begin their preparation in advance.
Therefore, it is quite clear that spending time planning for the future is vital.
Moreover, it is also very important to invest the time to plan for what lies ahead in life.
Today's conditions are extremely uncertain and stability in life is needed, both financially
and in terms of health. Failure to plan ahead can wreak havoc on your life. For example,
when the pandemic brokeout, many wage earners were left out of work, affecting not only
their lives but also their ability tospend money on their health. Conversely, people who have
invested time and money in savings have benefited from their wise decisions. Hence, it is
imperative for anyone to set aside their time for future planning activities.
To conclude, while I am an advocate of spending time planning for the future, I am not
strongly opposed to enjoying the present. However, calling planning for the future a waste
of time is completely inappropriate, since it sets the direction of life and removes the
uncertainties that theymay have to face in the future.
These days, environmental issues have become the main topic of discussion among people
and governments. Many people argue that environmental protection can only be achieved
by governments or large business conglomerates. I strongly disagree with this opinion, as
small movements can have a big impact. Also, any individual efforts to protect the
environment will behighly appreciated and supported by the public, and this will increase the
momentum.
To inaugurate with, most people think that individual effort is useless, it has a big impact
on the bigpicture. For example, in the waste management process, separating household
waste items will only take a few minutes for the person who sends the waste to
government agencies, but it has more benefits for government agencies as it is easier for
them to handle properly separated waste. If everyone thinks there is nothing they can do,
there will be no positive shift. Therefore, it is important that everyone does their best to
protect the environment.
In conclusion, the little effort that individuals make to protect the environment certainly
matters and encourages others to contribute as well. In light of this, we can strongly
oppose this argument, which underestimates individual effort, and clearly state that
individual input is just as important asthe support provided by governments and
multinational companies.
Q. Some people believe that university students should pay the full tuition fees because a
university education benefits only the students themselves and not society as a whole. To
whatextent do you agree or disagree?
A fair amount of people insist that the costs of education of university graduates should
be borneby themselves. According to them, when someone goes to university, it benefits
them more thansociety or the nation. However, I firmly believe that it is beneficial for
people and society, and therefore universities should continue to provide scholarships
not to everyone, but to worthy candidates.
To commence with, some short-sighted people argue that this trend only bears fruit for
students. The reality is that it benefits both society and individuals. For example, suppose a
medical school provides a scholarship to a worthy candidate. Upon graduation, he / she
will be a highly qualifiedphysician or healthcare professional who can save thousands of
lives and serve humanity. It's thesame with any other job, like an engineer, teacher, or
researcher. Universities must develop the skills of worthy students who are willing to strive
for success, thereby fostering talented professionals who can do their jobs to the best of
their ability and bring prosperity to the nation.
Moreover, education should never become a business. Many governments around the
world have allocated a significant portion of their national budgets to education. If the
candidate is hardworking and deserving, he should be able to continue his studies,
regardless of his financial situation. This will give people the opportunity to get their dream
job, even if their financial situation is weak. On the contrary, if universities charge a fee for
every admission, many bright minds from disadvantaged families will be denied
opportunities. Moreover, graduate programs offered by universities can only form qualified
professionals if the enrolled students are passionateand motivated. If they allocate places
simply on a pay-as-you-go basis, both worthy and unworthy students will be on the course,
depriving other potential candidates of opportunities.
To conclude, I would like to reiterate that universities must continue to provide free
education toworthy candidates. This will create highly capable professionals who can serve
other people and improve our quality of life.
Q. Some people believe that public health can be improved within the country by making
lawsregarding nutritious food by the government. However, others believe that health care
is a personal choice and responsibility. Discuss both views and give your opinion?
A fair amount of people believe that health and hygiene can only be improved through
governmentoversight, such as imposing some food supply policies; however, others believe
that personal decision and responsibility have played a vital role in this matter. In my opinion,
both government legislation and personal care are needed.
To commence with, one of the important causes of health problems is the food people
consume. Ifgovernments pass various laws related to this issue, the level of problems that
people face during their lives will increase and life expectancy will be extended. In addition,
by improving agricultural techniques, the mortality rate comes down, as better nutrition will
be shared among the people.
For instance, if urban centers begin to supply clean water and clean up waste, there will be
a drastic reduction in water and nutrition, and general personal hygiene will increase. In
this way, governments can be critical in helping to reduce mortality and improve health.
However, people were given advice on what are the causes of illness and how they can
prevent infectious diseases while taking care of their personal health, so they need to pay
attention to suchsimple topics as watching their hand, not using others brush, and visiting a
doctor in every specific
period for medical check up. Moreover, sports were one of the necessary areas to reduce
the riskof disease, so provided that there is a regular daily exercise, especially as they get
older they will not face difficulty. Thus, public health will not develop without personal
hygiene.
In conclusion, it is clear that conditions are vital aspects for promoting health-related
products as well as self-awareness. In my notion, both self-care and government concern
for aspects that affecthealth are equally important, and these improvements in hygiene can
be more effective if both groups work together.
Q. When new towns are planned, it is essential to build more public parks or sports
facilities thanshopping complexes. Do you agree or disagree with statement?
It is argued that when designing new cities, more attention should be paid to public gardens
andgyms than to shopping malls.I understand the people's concerns with this opinion.
Although, I believe that shopping malls are more important than parks or sports centers in
the city.
To commence with, sports facilities are so important to city dwellers for many reasons.
Firstly, theyprovide people with the right space and equipment to exercise. For instance,
people can go jogging in the park and play volleyball and tennis in the sports centers. This
not only keeps their bodies in shape, but also lifts their spirits. In addition, parks and sports
stadiums are good places for people to socialize. People can communicate with each other
by playing sports or walking in thepark.
However, parks and gyms offer all kinds of benefits to city dwellers, I believe that shopping
centersare equally important. First of all, a shopping complex can make shopping more
convenient for local residents. This will allow them to easily buy things in the city and
transport them home with less effort and less cost. They will not need to spend extra
money on transportation or delivery of goods. Secondly, a shopping center can provide
employment. Locals can find jobs in shops or in thesecurity of a mall and earn money to
support their families.
In conclusion, parks and sports complexes serve as places for exercise and social activities
for town residents, I think that shopping malls are equally essential, as they serve as a place
for city dwellers.Provide job opportunities and facilities to the residents.
Q. In some cities around the world, cars are replacing bicycles. However, in some other
cities, bicycles are replacing cars. What are the reasons for these developments? In your
opinion, whichone is better?
The contemporary era is an era of modernization, people's preferences for transport are
changing day by day. As a result, in some cities, cars prefer bicycles. Whereas elsewhere,
this trend is exactlythe opposite. In my opinion, the first method is better than the second.
This essay will discuss the reasons for this changing trend.
To commence with, motor vehicles are utilized in the nations, where people have good
quality roadsystems with proper urban planning. However, this could be lacking in certain
countries, hence citizens may choose bicycles to reach their destination, as they may lack
well-developed infrastructure. In addition, people want to save travel time so that they often
find cars more convenient, especially for getting to more distant places, since the latter
method of travel can take much longer to reach their destination. For example, people living
in rural areas but working in urban areas may find the cycling journey exhausting.
Although, cars are more beneficial in terms of saving time, cycles are much more
beneficial in the long run. Pedaling often requires a lot of energy, which can help burn
excess calories and thus provide long-term health benefits for people. They are extremely
beneficial for cardiovascular health and mental health. Since the population these days has
a sedentary lifestyle, bikes are a great way to incorporate exercise into the daily routine. For
instance, according to a survey, about60% of humans in Norway are seen reaching their
offices via pedals to stay physically fit.
To conclude, it cannot be denied that automobiles make life easier and more comfortable,
but using a bicycle is beneficial in many aspects, so progress has been improved in view of
its positiveimpact on health. Therefore, it should be adopted to travel around the world.
Q. People are surrounded by advertising. It affects what people think is important and it
has anegative impact on people's lives. Do you agree or disagree with statement?
In recent years, the media and their offshoots have played a vital role in the life of every
person. Because of this, criticism is widespread, arguing that the role of advertisements,
broadcast on television or distributed on any social media, seems demoralizing and of little
benefit. While I agreewith this belief in the harmful effects of advertising, I have some
reservations about banning it altogether.
To commence with, we've been used to watching advertisements since more than three
decades. Interestingly, the role of the media has become extremely aggressive, so that in
most cases they annoy people when they watch any interesting content on TV or using any
electronic device. For instance, there are several brands of shampoos and hair dyes
approved by various cinematic fraternities. It is unfortunate that, as a social icon, celebrities
endorse such products without appreciating the harmful nature of the additives present.
Moreover, when people start using theseproducts, it leads to skin irritation and rashes
instead of giving the promised results.
Having said that, do advertisements really work for the benefit of people? If it does, it will not
needany kind of support in the media. For example, there is no such poster designed to buy
food from any established food outlet like Starbucks or Domino's. Therefore, people should
not fall into the trap of buying advertised products without weighing their health or skin
compatibility with these chemicals. However, if a product is endorsed by the government or
any civil society, we can buy those products after careful consideration.
To conclude, we can say that advertising is done only in order to make a profit, deceiving
the layman with incredible benefits. Before deciding whether to buy a product or not, it is
our responsibility to examine the advertisements. Therefore, I agree that advertising always
misleadsconsumers, and people should not fall into their traps.
Q. In some countries, students pay tuition at colleges and universities, while in some
others thegovernment pays for them. Do you think the advantages of having the
government pay money outweigh the disadvantages?
It is true that in some countries the cost of tertiary education is bears by the government.
While itis beneficial for some underprivileged students, I believe the drawbacks certainly
outweigh the advantageous.
To commence with, the main advantage of government fees for colleges and universities
is that itcreates an equal opportunity for all and narrows the gap between rich and poor.
The poor cannotafford to pursue higher education due to lack of family support and fears
of future debt. At public universities or colleges, anyone can go to college and get a
bachelor's or master's degree without crushing debt on their shoulders. The career
opportunities offered by university education can lift them out of the endless cycle of
poverty.
However, the disadvantages of public university education are too many. One of the major
disadvantages is the decline in the quality of education. As more people go to college or
university, campuses become overcrowded, which reduces the attention of teachers to
students. In addition, the value of education decreases. Universities become full of non-
serious students, just taking theirtime and dropouts also increase.
Nevertheless, the detrimental impact of bearing the tuition fee by local government also
cannot beunderestimated. Firstly, it will jeopardize economic growth. Since there is a lack
of public funds that could be directed to areas that directly stimulate the economy, such as
the manufacturing sector, the pace of economic development will slow down and impaired.
Additionally, the studentswho are exempted from this duty may not cherish the
opportunities of study as compared to bearing the cost by themselves, which leads to
wastage of educational resources.
To conclude, I would like to reiterate that though the education of government funded
institutionsbenefits the poor, the disadvantages are enormous which cannot be ignored.
Q. Demand for oil and gas is growing and so finding new resources in undiscovered areas
is anecessity. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
Fossil fuel consumption is increasing worldwide. Therefore, some people believe that the
extraction of fuel should be allowed in uncharted territories. I do not support this. In my
perspective, our world can no longer cope with pollution and diseases. Therefore, the search
forother green energy resources are more essential and vital.
To inaugurate with, a good reason for protecting undiscovered lands is that the current oil
and gasconsumption increasing global warming. In other words, global temperatures are
gradually increasing due to the overuse of fossil fuels. As a result, humanity is faced with
the threat of extinction. Moreover, if we do not stop exploiting our natural resources, the
green spaces that form the lungs of our earth will shrink even further. It will also affect our
health. In addition, diseases will spread faster and affect more people due to the release
of toxic gases and other pollutants from factories. Another point to consider is that
undiscovered land must be protected from industrial activity.
To conclude, fossil fuels are beneficial; however, they also have a negative impact on the
environment. Therefore, I am convinced that instead of exploring uncharted lands in search
of oiland gas, we should invest in green energy technologies to make them more
accessible.
Q. It is impossible to help all the people in the world, so governments should only focus
onpeople in their own countries. Do you agree or disagree?
A fair amount of people believe that as long as there are problems in our own society, we
shouldnot help people from other countries. I disagree with this approach because I
believe we should strive to help as many people as possible.
To commence with, I recognize that it is crucial to help our neighbors and fellow citizens.
Most of the communities have people who are somewhat poor or disadvantaged. For
instance, you can findhomeless people even in the richest cities, and for those who are
concerned about this problem, there is usually an opportunity to donate time or give money
to support these people. In India, people can help in a variety of ways, from donating
clothing to serving free food in a community kitchens. Since problems are on the way and
there are obvious ways to help, I can understand why some people feel that we should
prioritize local philanthropy.
Moreover, I believe that we have a responsibility to help those who live outside our national
borders. The problems people face in some countries are far more serious than those in
our own communities, and it is often easier to help. For example, when children in South
African countriesare dying from curable diseases, governments and individuals in wealthy
nations can save lives
simply by paying for pre-existing vaccines. A small donation to an international charity can
have afar greater impact than helping in our area.
Q. The salaries of directors of large organizations are much higher than those of ordinary
employees. Some people think that it is necessary, others think that it is unfair. Discuss
bothperspectives and express your own opinion.
A fair amount of people believe that the astronomical salaries of corporate executives are
unjustified, especially since ordinary employees earn a paltry sum. In my opinion, it is quite
normalfor management staff to receive higher remuneration.
To inaugurate with, higher executives of corporates enjoy large pay scales due to several
reasons. Firstly, people in high positions have to deal with many serious situations and they
have to control such situations on a war footing. Here their decision-making ability and
intellectual level are tested, for which they are paid huge sums of money. In addition, people
in leadership positions have treasured degrees and invaluable experience. They often start
at a junior level and, thanks to their talent and hard work, reach top positions. Hence, the
company must reward their contribution by offering them a solid salary.
Furthermore, there are those who believe that employees who work for the company day
and night and do painstaking work should receive the equivalent salary of directors. They
claim that their efforts are unmatched and that they form the backbone of a organization.
Thus, they deservehigher remuneration, comparable to that of managers and executives.
However, I believe that while senior officials do not do a lot of manual work, they are
always under stress as they have to manage the entire company and its people intelligently.
To do this, they need to make infallible judgments, and they are also fully responsible for
any mistakes they make / any mistakes on their part.
In conclusion, I firmly reiterate that while ordinary employees do a lot of painstaking work,
companies do not hold them accountable for their failures. Conversely, managers have to
bear thebrunt of all their decisions and are therefore paid much more than regular
employees.
Q. In the past people made better use of their free times than they do today. Do you agree
ordisagree with statement?
It is widely believed that people are more inactive these days than they used to be. In my
opinion, Icompletely agree with this statement, and the reasons will be presented below.
The contemporary era is an era of modernization. There are innumerable reasons for this
unhealthy lifestyle. First and foremost, the development of technology. Due to
modernization, more and more digital devices such as computers and smartphones are
becoming more and more popular. The applications in these devices, such as games,
movies, and e-books, are so interesting that users cannot refuse them. As a result, the
amount of time they spend playing sports is reduced.. In addition, thanks to the
convenience of electronic devices, people can now more easilycommunicate with each
other through social networking sites without traveling from one place toanother, which is
sometimes time-consuming and tiring. For example, friends can communicate with each
other by making video calls or maintaining a conversation if their smartphones are
equipped with Instagram, regardless of geographic distances.
The another factor contributing to this sedentary life is the busy schedule of the world's
citizens. This means they have to work hard or work at night to meet deadlines. This leads
to fatigue and stress. For this reason, this is the only thing that officers and workers prefer
to do as soon as theycome home to rest. Instead of playing active sports like soccer or
hockey, which are very demanding, people prefer to stay at home to have fun reading
books or watching their favorite movies. By doing this, they can gain more energy to
prepare for a new day at work. If they don't freshen up, it is very likely that it will
significantly affect their productivity at work.
In conclusion, for the above reasons, I fully believe that people in the world today are less
activethan in the past.
Q. Some people believe that radio is the best source to get news while others think that
television is better for this purpose. Discuss both perspectives and give your opinion
withrelevant examples?
Everyone wants to know what's happening across the globe. They can receive this
information from various sources such as radio or television. Some people think radio is
better, while others think television is better. This essay discusses both points of view and
explains why television is thebest source of news and information.
To commence with, a fair amount of people prefer to listen to the radio for news and
information. Radio certainly has many benefits. Firstly, it is very easy to carry it from one
place to another, as it is very lightweight. Secondly, you can still listen to the radio when you
are traveling. In fact, you canlisten to the radio while you are working in the kitchen, garage,
or garden because radio does not require your physical presence in front of it. For example,
many truck drivers use radio while driving, and this is their first source of news. Finally,
radio is much cheaper than television. Thus, some people find radio to be more useful than
television.
However television has its advantages. First of all, it shows audio along with video. This is
why it becomes easier for viewers to fully understand the news. It is difficult to describe
everything usingonly sound. The growth / growth in the number of TV viewers over the past
few decades is a good
indicator of this. In addition, advances in technology have dramatically reduced the cost of
televisions over the past few years. Thus, people can now easily access television.
In conclusion, both radio and television are good at conveying news in their own way. While
radio is a good source of information, when someone is traveling, television provides a
wider coverage ofnews. I am of the opinion that television is better than radio, and the
growth of its audience is proof of this.
Q. Many people aim to achieve a balance in between their work and lives, but few people
achieve it. What are the causes of this? How to overcome this problem?
Everyone wants to achieve a balance between their work and life. Unfortunately, not many
peoplesucceed in this. There are several reasons for this. There are also some solutions.
To commence with, the right priorities are essential to achieving work-life balance. For
example, people who prioritize family over work should not make the mistake of accepting
jobs that require them to spend a lot of time in the workplace. Such work will bring them a
good salary, but most likely they will have to sacrifice their personal life. If we look around,
we can see that most of the people who complain about the imbalance in work and
personal life are high-paid leaders. They may not have time for their family due to the
complex nature of their work and this is something they need to understand before
accepting such work. Hence, people who really want to make timefor themselves and their
family are better off choosing a job with reasonable work schedules and wages. In other
words, it's important to prioritize correctly before we can even try to achieve work-life
balance.
Time management is also critical. Each person spends a lot of time a day on useless things.
For example, most people these days spend an excessive amount of time on social media.
They are simply wasting this time because there is nothing they can do by updating their
social media statushourly. People who are looking for time for their married life should stay
away from such time wasters. It's also important that people focus on one thing. At work,
they need to focus on their work because this simple strategy will allow them to finish their
work faster and find time for theirfamily. Another factor that upsets the work-life balance is
the employee's tendency to bring work home. This should be avoided unless it really
matters.
In conclusion, knowing your priorities is key to achieving a proper work-life balance. Time
management is critical. It is equally important to have realistic goals and ambitions.
Q. Caring of children is probably the most important job in any society. For this reason, all
mothers and fathers must take a course that prepares them to become good parents. To
whatextent do you agree or disagree with these point of views?
Although it may be a good idea that parents should know some information before starting
a family, participating in several classes that are related to childcare, from my point of view,
this doesnot guarantee successful parenting.
To commence with, there are many reasons why this might not be appropriate for all
members ofthe community. Firstly, due to the fact that each family was brought up
according to different cultures, even if they take part in such courses, they cannot cover all
parts. In addition, parents tend to educate their children according to their own interests
and views, and not just a set of theories. Secondly, while these activities can greatly
increase the awareness of mothers and fathers, consolidating this knowledge is likely to be
challenging. For example, because parents either have a double income or are overworked,
it can be difficult to pay attention to new information that has been recently received.
However, when it comes to mandatory actions, it can be said that how to get people to
participatein a certain course, therefore, it does not have the opposite effect. In other
words, it can have a number of irreparable consequences for a nation that has just
decided to have children, which canhave a direct impact on the level of reproduction in a
society. Moreover, while the new generationseems inexperienced in this regard, it should
not be forgotten that they prefer to adapt their approach to real life in every situation. For
example, when their child is misbehaving, they can adjust to a new position that works
best for the whole family.
In conclusion, given that each family was raised in a different culture, it is difficult to apply
thesemethods and that it is unpleasant for society to do something against their will, in my
opinion it would be better to have an alternative.
Q. Young people are often influenced by others of the same age in their behavior and
circumstances. This is called "peer pressure". Do the disadvantages outweigh the
advantages?
It is undeniable that young people are encouraged by their friends, parents and teachers, but
theyare more susceptible to the influence of friends because of their similar age and
understanding.
This phenomenon has both pros and cons, which I will discuss in this next essay.
There are many benefits to this influence. For starters, the knowledge and experience that
they receive from each other's companies. To explain this in more detail, I would say that
every child needs someone with whom he can share his happiness and sorrows, and if they
are their friends, itis more convenient for them to share anything. they like each other, have
good communication skills and leadership qualities, and this helps them overcome many
difficulties in their lives.
Despite the many benefits of peer pressure, it also has some limitations. Let's start by
adopting badhabits: if any young child is influenced by a person of his age who smokes
and drinks, he may also be involved in this bad habit. In addition, the enthusiasm of wealthy
people also creates inequalities in a person's life. For example, if young people are
encouraged by wealthy people, theymay demand expensive gifts from their parents that
they could not afford.
To conclude and give my opinion, I would say that reward always provides a platform for
doingsomething challenging and interesting, and as with this, having young people
positively follow others will help them grow better.
Q. Some people think that economic progress is the only way to measure a nations
success, whileother think that there are other factors which can be used to measure a
nations success. What are these factors? Which of all factors, do you think are most
important?
Nowadays, many experts and global organizations are finding a common definition of a
country's success. It is believed that economic development like GDP growth will
demonstrate the country's achievements. Meanwhile, some people put forward the idea
that, besides this factor, the presence of other functions that have a stronger influence on
this. As far as I understand, the latteropinion should receive more support.
To commence with, it is obvious that for most countries, the political institution plays a
decisive role in ensuring the comprehensive development of the country. This is because it
can be outstanding leadership that fosters progress in other important areas such as
education, economics, an equitable and secure society, science and technology. If a
country operates under a non-democratic regime, this can lead to a corrupt problem, social
inequality and even the emergence of the phenomenon of interest groups in the political
environment, which means that the country is not keeping pace with the rapid development
of globalization. and therefore hindersthe economic and social growth of the country. This
is especially important in poor countries like Haiti, South Korea, Congo, etcetera.
This does not mean that economic progress is not a measure of a nation's success. This
is due to the fact that the economic factor has a significant impact on the reflection of the
successful level ofcountries in the world. For example, modern economists and
governments still use indicators of GDP, GNP and CPI to measure the development of
countries. However, if a nation prioritizes accelerating economic growth, it can lead to
widening the gap between rich and poor, high inflation, economic crime, and an unstable
society. So, governments must choose sustainable growth consistent with a thriving
society and economy.
In conclusion, the country must make sustainable and successful progress in many areas
through cooperation and democratic institutions, and thus make society more prosperous
and happy. In themeantime, we must not neglect effective investments in economic
development.
To begin with, robots are a viable alternative to human labor in many fields. In an
environment unsafe for the employment of human labour, robots play an irreplaceable role
in replacing workerstoday. For example, they can be used effectively to remove radioactive
waste at nuclear power plants or to perform tasks impossible for astronauts in space
stations. In addition, it is more productive for robots to perform trivial and repetitive tasks.
The best example is industrial robots. They can work on a conveyor belt more efficiently
than humans because they are tireless, fast, andaccurate. As robotics continues to
advance, robots will be able to do more, benefiting human society in the coming years.
However, the widespread use of robots is inevitably a cause for concern. Firstly, some
people are quite skeptical about robots, fearing that one day these machines will become
too smart for humans to operate. This would be a disaster for mankind. Another concern is
that they will cause massive unemployment. Thousands of workers are being laid off due
to the introduction of varioustypes of robots. Such a large number of unemployed people
can pose a potential threat to social stability.
In conclusion, I believe that robots will become an integral part of the era of technology
dominance. Used correctly, they can serve as good servants and make our future life more
fantastic.
Q. Some people say that young people should be free to choose the job they really want
to do inthe future working lives. Others, however, think young people should be more
realistic and choose the jobs that will be possible for them to do in their future working
lives. Discuss both perspectives and give your opinion?
Job seeking is always a difficult problem that a new graduate has to face when they enter
the job market for the first time. Some people argue that adolescents should have complete
freedom to choose their profession, while others argue that young people should think more
practically, giventhe career prospects of work.
To commence with, if youngsters can choose a career of their own free will, then they will
have more passion and motivation towards the career. They will devote more of
themselves into the career, because it is something they enjoy, assuming they choose a
profession that suits their own interest. As a result, it can allow them to perform well in the
workplace as their passion will act as the driving force to propel them forward, wondering
how to excel in their business. What's more, itis believed that those who perform well in the
workplace have the best interpersonal relationships.
This is because they have more confidence in communicating with their colleagues, given
that theyare good at their job. On the contrary, if a young person is forced to choose an
occupation that he does not like, he will simply do the daily work without thinking about
how to improve his work. It turns out that he would be disappointed and would not be able
to become a high-class specialist inthe company.
However, opponents believe that new graduates should choose careers more realistically,
assessing the career path and salary that the job can offer them. For example, a graduate
who is well versed in biology now has two options: become a biology teacher or an animal
researcher. If he is practical, he will choose a biology teacher who can guarantee him
promising career growth and a decent salary. Consequently, he will not select a researcher
because it is difficult to get a promotion in the research field because there are no clear
standards for promotion. The example proved that you always need to think realistically
when people need to make a living. Plus, it's okaythat people need to make enough
fortunes before they can make their dreams come true.
In conclusion, youngsters need to think more seriously before they get a job, otherwise they
will regret what they did because of low wages or poor prospects. Self-interest is okay, but
you need tohave enough savings first.
Q. Many people/students today are choosing to live and work in another country after
graduating from university in their home country. Why is this? Do the advantages
outweigh thedisadvantages?
The number of people going abroad for higher education and a better lifestyle has
increasedsignificantly in the modern world. In my opinion, leaving your home country
to pursue highereducation ultimately brings more problems than benefits.
Admittedly, there are some major benefits to studying in a foreign country. First, at the end
of the course, the student gets the opportunity to find a job in foreign markets. Since
salaries in these countries are higher, their financial situation will definitely improve if they
work abroad. Secondly, overseas programs provide them with the opportunity to study with
students from other countries. This, in turn, not only develops their communication skills, but
also encourages them to think differently as they interact with students from a completely
different society.
However, despite the advantages mentioned above, I believe there are serious demerits to
studying abroad. One of the main problems is that students studying abroad do not
contribute to the economy of their country. For example, the migration of skilled workers to
other countries hasslowed the development of countries such as India. Students who were
supposed to be entrepreneurs in their home country run successful businesses and pay
taxes in other countries.
Another potential problem with studying abroad is that students have to pay higher tuition
fees. They often have to work part-time to fund their studies and this distracts them from
their studies.
Another problem is that living away from family in a highly competitive environment leads to
a stressful life. This could be one of the main reasons prompting students to commit
serious crimes.
To conclude, it can be said that people may have different opinions, but I believe that
the majordisadvantages of traveling abroad for higher education far outweigh the minor
advantages. This trend affects the economic growth of their own country and also
makes their life stressful.
Q. Many people think that there is a general increase in antisocial behavior and disrespect
forothers. What do you think, what are the reasons for this and how to fix the situation?
Nowadays, many people believe that crime and disrespect are on the rise in society. In this
essay, Iwill look at the probable causes and solutions to cater these problems.
To begin with, To begin with, television and virtual media should be seen as the main
factors in thecultivation of violence among citizens. In other words, they strongly influence
a person in the direction of terrible antisocial behavior and disrespect for each other. For
example, television shows such as Game of Thrones that promote crime, bloodshed and
hatred are in high demand, especially among children, and set a negative example for them.
The solution might be to control this content. Parents can control the channels their
children watch, and the government can motivate a person to self-discipline as well as to
engage in creative activities to build a healthy mind, which can be done by opening more
gyms, parks and recreational activities.
In addition, lack of proper education at a primitive stage can also be a major cause of
crime and disrespect among people, especially among the younger generation. This is
because proper schooling provides a better life and a sense of responsibility among
members of the community, but lack of it leads the individual in the wrong direction. The
main reason for the lack of adequateeducation is high school attendance fees, with the
result that most people cannot even finish highschool. The solution to this problem is free
education for everyone. For instance, Canada and Germany provide their citizens with free
education and scholarships, which leads to low crime rates in their countries, and also
contributes to the development of a civilized community.
Therefore, by providing free education, it is possible to solve the problem of a high level of
crimeand uncivilization.
To conclude, by controlling content on television and on the Internet, either through self-
control orby parents watching over their children, and by providing free education to
everyone, the crimes and disrespect that are prevalent in society can be significantly
reduced.

Q. In some countries, there has been an increase in the number of parents who are
choosing to self-educate their children at home rather than sending them to school. Do
advantages of homeeducation outweigh the disadvantages?
Over the past few years, there has been an increase in the number of parents who choose to
educate their children at home. Homeschooling is becoming more and more popular
because it is convenient and cheap. However, in my opinion, this is not as useful as regular
schooling, because itdoes not give children the opportunity to communicate with their peers
or with the world around them.
Parents are increasingly choosing home schooling for their children because it allows them
to studyat their own time and pace. This is very helpful for very young children as they do
not need to get up early in the morning and rush to school. Learning at home is also
suitable for students who learnat a slow pace. Another advantage of homeschooling is that
it is cheaper. If parents are educated, they can teach their children on their own and thus
save a lot of money on tuition fees. Parents also have the option to customize the
curriculum to suit their child's specific needs. For example, they may add an additional
language to the curriculum or remove another subject that they feel is not useful to their
children.
However, in my opinion, regular schooling is more beneficial for the overall development of
children. At school, children learn from experts. Another advantage is the opportunities for
social interaction provided by the school. School is a microcosm of the outside world, and
in school, children learn invaluable life skills, such as the ability to connect with friends,
peers, and teachers. They learn to share, make friends, collaborate, and compete with their
classmates. Homeschoolingdoes not provide any of these benefits. While it may be more
convenient and cheaper, it does not help transform children into confident adults who
know how to successfully behave in the world around them and solve problems.
Q. Some people believe that climate affects the person’s way of life while others believe
that climate has greater impact on the economy of a region. Discuss both view and give
your opinion?
The contemporary era is an era of globalization. Around the world, people are experiencing
both subtle and severe effects of climate change.Slowly changing weather conditions,
rising sea levels and other extreme weather events are devastating evidence of both a
rapidly changing climate andthe negative impact on the region's economy.
To commence with, the impacts of climate change affect every nation on every continent,
but notin the same way. People already burdened with poverty and oppression often
suffer the harshestconsequences, while they have less ability to cope. Their struggle to
earn money, support their families and build a stable home is getting harder every day as
the climate crisis continues. The increasing frequency and intensity of extreme weather
events such as hurricanes, wildfires and droughts threaten lives in these front-line
communities, evicting people from their homes and
jeopardizing food sources and livelihoods. All of these effects increase the likelihood of
more conflict, hunger and poverty. Yet, those most at risk persist in spite of this, fighting to
grow food, maximizing dwindling resources and facing recurring disasters.
owever, global warming is negatively affecting the region's economy. Climate change is a
direct cause of soil degradation, which limits the amount of carbon the land can hold.
Some studies show that today 400 million people live in areas affected by erosion, with the
result that up to 30 percentof food is lost or lost. Meanwhile, climate change is limiting the
availability and quality of drinking water and farming land. In many regions, crops that have
flourished for centuries struggle to survive, making food security more precarious. Such
impacts mainly fall on the poor and vulnerable. According to a new study, the global
economy could lose ten percent of its total economic value by 2051 due to climate change.
The study also warned that this figure could rise to eighteen percent of gross domestic
product (GDP) by the middle of the century, if not taken into account.
To conclude, Climate change is the defining crisis of our time, and it is happening even
faster thanwe feared. But we are not powerless in the face of this global threat. As the
endless costs of climate change reach irreversible heights, it is time for decisive collective
action.
Q. In many different countries, most stores and products are the same. Some consider
this to bea positive development, while others consider it negative. Discuss both
perspectives and give your opinion?
It is true that globalization has made the world a global village and nations are much more
alike than ever before. These days, people can have the same items from any part of the
world, use thesame technology, build similar buildings, buy suits from international brands,
and develop infrastructure that is created and designed by international companies. A
number of factors have led to this situation, and this tendency, in my opinion, is very
desirable for various reasons.
To begin with, people can buy the goods of the most international brands in their country,
since almost all of the world's goods are available in a country where free international
trade is allowed. This situation creates a tough competitive environment in the
marketplace, and companies are trying to introduce new inventions to attract more people.
This way, people get a better selection of products with higher quality and also at an
affordable price. For instance, Toyota, a well-known car company in Japan, has many retail
outlets in India, and it is much more convenient for Indians to buy these branded vehicles
without wasting travel expenses to Japan. Branded suits, cars and other items make
people and streets look alike, and I think this reduces discrimination in the world.
Furthermore, today global companies design and build many infrastructures, and they are
similarin appearance. In addition, the popularity of Hollywood movies and Western
celebrities inspire people around the world to follow a similar fashion trend. It also helps
to reduce differences between nations. This is useful for people visiting and living in
another county. They don't feel
much of a difference in their experience of living in a completely different neighborhood.
Again, this trend is driving the migration of people to various places in the world. In
addition, it also reduces the adaptation difficulties that people living in a new place usually
face. For example, Chinese people can consume their traditional food even if they live in
India, England, USA or Australia.
In contrast, globalization, which makes the world look like a global village, often results in
the lossof the cultures and diversity of many countries. But given the benefits it brings, we
have no choicebut to embrace this modern phenomenon. This can negatively impact local
businesses due to the greater influence and availability of branded goods among ordinary
people. Ultimately, however, local products become better quality and can also spread their
business opportunities around theworld.
Q. Some people think that expanding business and cultural contacts between nations
bringsmany positive results. Others say this leads to a loss of national identity. Discuss
both your perspectives and give your opinion.
The era of globalization has forced nations around the world to become interdependent in
terms ofpolitics, education, medicine, especially international trade and cultural exchange.
Many believe that the growth of economic and traditional diversity in one nation is
beneficial to others.
However, some object to this idea because of the obvious possibility that core values could
bedestroyed.
To commence with, many developing countries are faced with increased employment
opportunities and huge economic benefits from globalization. Modern business has now
found an opportunity to reach out to clients from overseas countries. To make this clear,
companies have a better chance of increasing the sales of their products and changing
them to be more affordable and versatile. In addition, cultural relations between countries
allow employees to travel abroad and learn more about their neighbors. For instance,
Americans usually travel to Vietnam to experience a wide variety of exclusive dishes and
learn about the history of their past rival. These people are using this perspective to
improve the quality of their foreign food, especially Pho, and toimprove the quality of
history education in the United States.
As remarkable as the benefits may be, foreign policy can end a country's exclusivity.
Globalizationhas made the world more diverse in terms of the number of cultures. One
culture can become dominant while others disappear. Once the culture of a region
completely disappears, it will completely change the virtues that globalization brings about.
For example, if local Vietnamese dishes such as pho disappear, so will the number of
foreign tourists decreases. Thus, the tourism industry in Vietnam will plunge into chaos,
which will lead to the collapse of the entire economic system.
To conclude, while globalization can benefit countries economically, those countries that
neglecttheir policies regarding such progress may one day completely disappear from
the world map. Inmy own experience, each person should not only maintain their identity,
but also contribute to national growth.
Q. It is expected that there will be a higher proportion of older people than that of young
peoplein many countries in the future? Do you think positive or negative development?
According to some studies, in many nations, there will be more older people than young
people in the future. In my opinion, this is largely a negative phenomenon, although it has
some advantages.
Advancement in medical science and improved access to health care have enabled
people to livelonger, which is why the number of older people is growing in some
countries. At the same time, families are getting smaller. Couples are choosing to have
fewer and fewer children, and this hasreduced the number of young people. This may be
due to the widespread awareness that small families are happier. Hectic lifestyles and
stress have also deprived many people of the desire tohave children at all. Needless to
say, there will be more elderly people in many countries in the future.
In my opinion, there are both positive and negative sides to the fact that there are more
elderly people than young people in the country. The main advantage is that older people
have a wealth ofexperience and can provide valuable advice to young people. The
unemployment rate will also decline when there are fewer young people.
On the other hand, the disadvantages of this development are even more noticeable. Old
people are unproductive. In addition, they are more likely to have health problems.
Consequently, when a country has a higher proportion of older people than young people,
its economy will be in dire straits. The government will also have to spend a lot more on
elderly care. While the opportunity tolive longer is certainly a boon, its economic impact can
be devastating for countries that lack youth to move forward.
In conclusion, the lower fertility and increased access to health care are factors contributing
to theincrease in the population of older people in many countries. This development has
both positive and negative sides; however, the negative aspects are more pronounced than
the positive ones.
Q. Big businesses have large budgets for marketing and promotion, and as a result, people
gravitate towards buying their products. What problem is this causing? What can be done
toencourage people to buy local produce?
Global business giants now have branches even in small villages. Since they offer huge
discounts onmost products, they can easily attract consumers. At first glance, this may
seem beneficial to customers, but in reality it is not. The presence of international retailers
in the local market harms local businesses and therefore the local economy. For instance,
many local artisans have lost their livelihoods due to the lack of buyers for their products.
Instead of buying handicrafts, people now choose to buy factory made products that look
more attractive. If local people lose their livelihoods, the purchasing power of the local
community will eventually decrease.
The only way for local businesses to compete with international giants is by offering
personalized services. While it is true that local merchants cannot offer the kind of
discounts or offers that multinational giants offer, they know their customers better. They
can also understand the exact needs of their target group. This knowledge actually enables
them to better meet the specific needs of their customers. In addition, local entrepreneurs
should try to improve the quality of theirproducts. This is important in order for their clients
to return. The government also needs to step inand prevent multinational giants from
infiltrating certain sectors.
In conclusion, when international companies attract local customers with large discounts
and offers, the local economy suffers the most. However, local entrepreneurs can
overcome this threatby offering customized solutions to their customers.
Q. Some believe that people will buy a product based on their needs and there is no need
foradvertising. To what extent do you agree or disagree with essay?
Many people argue that advertising is not required and that consumers can buy the
product according to their requirements. In my opinion, advertising not only educates the
general public, but also helps to make an intelligent buying decision. Thus, I can say that
advertising is very important not only for users, but also for companies in order to attract
their potential buyers.
Undoubtedly, almost every brand and store advertises its products and services in one way
or another, but not all advertising serves a purpose. Many people argue that this increases
unnecessary expenditure for end customers and they end up buying a lot of crap products.
For example, it is the fact that people buy even minor items if they notice a sale or
discounted advertisement because they mean it is a bargain. Many advertisers also include
false information intheir ads to boost their sales.
In addition, it is also a tool for measuring consumer behavior and introducing new products
to the market based on various studies. Proof of this is that many big brands have
produced great products that satisfy all of their users based on an understanding of market
demand. What's more, advertising teaches us a lot about the company and whether it
contributes to social causes. Many people also make purchasing decisions based on such
factors.
Q. Many young people change their jobs and careers. What are the reason for this? Do the
advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
To commence with, there are a number of benefits to getting a new job. These are two
major reasons: firstly, people tend to get a new job with a higher salary. In fact, by
examining job descriptions in the local labor market, we can see that the same job title
can be paid across a widerange of salaries in different companies, which makes
employees want and need to turn to a new employer. Furthermore, it also increases the
likelihood of promotions due to the experience gained in previous companies. Secondly,
compared to those who have worked in the same company for decades, workers can
broaden their personal horizons by facing new challenges froma new environment that
will enrich their personal growth. Thus, it is quite clear that regular job changes can
benefit oneself.
Although there are reasons for looking for a new job that is conducive to personal
development, the resulting disadvantages cannot be ignored. The most significant
drawback is the potential loss of non-wage benefits such as pensions and health insurance.
For example, compared to experienced staff, new staff hired for several months, despite
their higher position, may not accumulate sufficient achievement and trust among
teammates in a short period. Meanwhile, afterworking for the company for decades, a long-
term teammate often showed loyalty to his employer, resulting in great benefits. This may
induce the company to offer its long-term partners more benefits than a new headcount. In
addition, new staff require dedicated retraining resources to adapt to the new environment,
and this additional investment offered by the company can also deter their manager from
promoting new hires in the coming years.
In conclusion, there are both benefits and costs when there are frequent job changes,
however, with growing concerns about job stability, the negative points outweighs the
positive. It is predicted that the phenomenon of job changes will decrease in the
foreseeable future.
Q. Schools are no longer needed because children can find so much information on the
internetand study at home. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this essay?
Since there is a wealth of information available on the Internet, students can study
independentlyat home as effectively as at school; and therefore some people feel that
schools are no longer needed. In my opinion, while I agree that students can study well at
home using the Internet, I believe that schools play a crucial role in our society and cannot
be replaced by anything else.
There are ways for children to learn on the Internet, most of which are free or affordable to
almosteveryone. A great way is to use online newspapers and video websites such as
National History andYouTube, which offer a variety of topics suitable for people of different
ages. Children can learn a lot of knowledge about culture, science and many other fields
which are taught to them in schools. In addition, they can participate in online courses
favored by an increasing number of young peoplethese days. This type of learning is even
more beneficial in that children can flexibly choose to study subjects that interest them.
At the same time, I am convinced that formal education is irreplaceable in any society. It is
true that students can very easily learn at home using the Internet; however, the lack of
teacher guidance and peer support is a clear disadvantage of this form of education.
These factors are extremely important for a child's intellectual development, which
underlines the need for a schoolenvironment. Moreover, from formal education, one can
expect not only knowledge and skills, butalso social relations and mental development.
Children who go to school and make friendships canhave fun and improve their learning
outcomes.
To conclude, the Internet is a good way for young children to study at home, but I think that
theclaims that schools are not related to children's education are simply absurd.
Q. Some people think that in this today's world, getting old is entirely bad. However, other
people believe that the lives of older people are much better now than they were in the
past.Discuss both points of view and express your own opinion?
A fair amount of people believe that in this contemporary world, older people suffer a lot,
while others counter this argument by claiming that as compared to the past, recent times
have broughtso much relief to the lives of older people. Both points of view will be
discussed in detail in this essay and will conclude by supporting the first argument.
To begin with, it is seen ubiquitously that almost all senior citizens have been struggling to
cope upwith the on-going changes in modern society. Subsequently, this has immensely
affected their
routine life in coordinating and adapting to the new challenges they face while interacting
with theyoung generation. Consequently, they begin to feel deprived and cut off from society.
Technological modernization such as smartphones are advancing so rapidly in the 21st
century thatolder people are rarely able to adapt to ever-changing technology. So I definitely
feel that it is extremely difficult for older people to deal with the surrounding culture these
days.
On the contrary, a certain number of people claim that the present age has paved the way
for improving the lives of the old. One of the nice things about this is the way it treats health
problems. With the help of modern computerized instruments, many age-related diseases
such as diabetes, hypertension and arthritis can be effectively controlled, ultimately
alleviating pain and making life better. This would not have been possible to achieve in the
past where older people had no choice but to lead a painful life. However, in my point of
view, this advantage is limited to a small group ofolder people and is not worthy of
countering the previous approach.
To conclude, although it is claimed that advanced health management for old people has
betteredtheir life, I genuinely believe that it is not the case. Senior citizens try very hard to
maintain and manage their lives with rapid changes that significantly affect them.
Q. An increase in people's life expectancy means they have to work longer to pay for their
retirement. One option is that people start working at a younger age. Is this choice a
positive or anegative development?
As the life expectancy of people is getting higher every day, older people have to devote
more and more time to work. However, some choose to work at a younger age. From my
perspective, this is apositive trend.
Entering a job at an early age can be a good choice for improving the financial situation of
peopleas they age. The younger a person is, the more energetic and persistent he is in his
work.
Undoubtedly, young people can carry out most office tasks with their zeal and maximum
productivity. They are less absent-minded, make fewer blunders and work, while having
the abilityto do multiple tasks at the same time. With this in mind, the prospects for career
advancement arepromising, and they are likely to climb the career ladder within a few
years. As a consequence, their income may be colossal enough to enable them to live in
retirement in the future.
In addition, unlike senior citizens, who may start working late or not advance in their careers,
activeyoung people would be wise to choose an early job alternative. You will have more
time to try different working conditions, learn new skills and meet people from different
walks of life without worrying about low wages or lost opportunities caused by changing
jobs. They can do this as much as they want since a young age gives them experience and a
lot of freedom to pursue their dreams.Wages continue to rise, but young people enjoy job
satisfaction and live life to the fullest.
To conclude, I would contend that the current situation in which young people start earning a
livingearlier than in the past is a positive development.

Q. More and more people want to buy famous brands of clothes, cars and other
products. Whatare the reasons? Do you think this is a positive or negative outcome?
Nowadays, buying things like cars or clothes from well-known brands is becoming more
and more popular with a large number of people. The reasons for this trend will be outlined
in the next essay, and, in my opinion, it can have both positive and negative consequences in
equal measure.
To begin with, the trend towards major brand products mainly stems from people's beliefs
that personal belongings reflect wealth, social status, and appearance. In particular, many
people associate clothing and accessories from popular brands such as Nike or Adidas
with high quality and fashionable designs. Therefore, these products are more suitable for
enhancing people's appearance than smaller brands. In addition, some types of goods,
such as luxury brand cars, tendto be overpriced due to their expensive materials or unique
characteristics. Consequently, these items are often viewed as a tool for the wealthy to
showcase their social status or their wealth.
On the other hand, more people buying well-known brands can bring both advantages and
disadvantages to the business world. Countries with well-known brands are more likely to
have strong and healthy economies. For example, the United States - home to many big
brands like Apple and Microsoft - has been the strongest economic superpower since the
late 20th century, inpart because their products are popular not only domestically but also
internationally. However, the rise of dominant brands can be a factor leading to monopoly
as large companies try to dominate and finally destroy smaller competitors in order to
maintain their position.
Q. The best way to protect the environment is to use local resources, such as food or
building materials, rather than transporting resources from other places. To what extent
do you agree ordisagree?
The environment is at high risk, which is an undeniable truth when people today are faced
with an ever-increasing number of natural disasters from tsunamis, the greenhouse effect,
earthquakes to global warming. I strongly disagree with the idea of using domestic
products or materials to protectthe environment rather than transporting goods.
Global food systems have changed radically over the past 50 years. Food production has
more thandoubled, diets have become more diversified to cater to people's preferences in
terms of shape, taste and quality, and numerous local, national and multinational food
industries have emerged, providing livelihoods for millions of people. Yet more than 800
million people still go hungry, about
two billion are malnourished, and over two billion are overweight or obese. The
consequences of resource use and the impact of these food systems on the environment
are significant. In general, of all types of economic activity, the food sector has the
greatest impact on the use of natural resources as well as on the environment. To improve
the well-being of smallholders, several governments have implemented reforms to improve
the access of these farmers to markets through international agricultural platforms. The
analysis shows that modal prices for rice, peanutsand corn rose by an average of 5.1%,
3.6% and 3.5%.
The country's transport system plays an important role in its growth for a variety of reasons.
With the fast and easy movement of raw materials, equipment, finished products, etc., it
benefits industrial enterprises. A good transport system can expand the market for goods.
In addition, it opens up remote regions as well as resources for production. Also, as
transport capacity increases, the demand for vehicles. This leads to the emergence of
industries specializing in these products. Transport projects can have various impacts on
the economic development goals of a community, such as productivity, employment,
business activity, property values, investment and tax revenues.
In conclusion, it is often argued that economic progress must always come at the expense
of theenvironment. While this is not the case for countries with established economies, it is
true for countries trying to gain a foothold in the global market.
Q. Some high school leavers tend to travel or work for a while before going to university
directly. What do you think are the advantages more than disadvantages?
A gap year is the year after high school graduation when a student takes time to
explore their interests, which usually entails travel or work. After the end of the
academic year, the student begins his career. It has both pros and cons, which I will
discuss in this essay.
There are innumerable benefits to taking a year off. First, a student can explore their
interests before choosing a major. Only after graduating from high school does a student
know what his realinterests are. A year off gives him time for introspection, and he can also
find something he never thought about studying before. Second, he can save money to fund
his education and ease the burden of his parents. Higher education is very expensive and
some parents cannot afford the full cost of university tuition.
In addition, during this year, the student gets to know different people and get to know
different cultures. As a result, his personality develops and he learns about the outside
world. Finally, a well-planned academic year attracts some admissions faculty and
prospective employers. For example, a student may add to their resume an activity from
the past year when they apply to university or any job after completing their education. This
is well received by the admissions committee and some job providers.
As every garden has weeds, so the intervening year has a downside. It can be difficult for a
studentto return to academics. A year is a long time, and when the pace of attending
classes, doing
homework, etc. is lost, the student may not want to study again. Second, if he starts
earning enough, education may seem unimportant. Finally, if the student does not plan it
properly, it canend up in a wasted year.
To sum up, I pen down saying that there are many benefits to an interim year if it is well
planned.
Q. Crimes and other forms of information on television and in newspapers have bad
consequences. Information of this kind should be limited to display in the media. To what
extentdo you agree or disagree with the statement?
Revealing the reality of any crime story through the media Television and newspapers have
a negative impact on civilization. Some opponents say the governing bodies should pass
certain tougher laws on this kind of violent media reporting. I agree in spirit and letter with
this thinkingand have discussed it in the following sentences.
To begin with, the media initiated the rapid and transparent transmission of news.
Recently, reporters have been trying to post articles and broadcast what happens or is
being done by criminals in their reality at the scene or scene of the crime. Consequently,
many news providers introduce criminals to expand their channel TRP level, which means
how exaggerated this level is,the same amount of revenue is generated for them. The two
most famous shows on the Indian channel, CID and Crime-Petrol, have the same idea of
what a criminal does or does in relation to the audience.
Moreover, while the media take advantage of this type of reporting, this trend is extremely
bad forminors and adults, because white and aggressive people are more likely to engage
in criminal activities and cannot distinguish between what is wrong. or to the right? Thus,
they go astray in life, leading them into a dark future. Rulers should be vigilant and censor
the publications of those publishers who like to simply represent a heinous crime for their
own prosperity and earnings, butdo not care about the future of young people. They lead
young people to do wrong things. With the help of media hints, young people simply resist
punishment and want to do something worse, such as kill something else.
To conclude, crime reporting should be limited and censored so that it doesn't have a big
impact onpeople. The government should impose wooden rules and punish those who
create violence by showing offensive material in the media.
Q. Some people think that everyone has a right to access a university education and that
the government should make it free for all students, regardless of their financial situation.
To whatextent do you agree or disagree?
It is generally believed that governments should provide people with the right to free
university education, regardless of their financial situation. In my opinion, offering free
university educationto everyone would be problematic and therefore should only be
offered to certain special people.
A good reason for this view is that having free higher education for all would put
tremendous financial pressure on the country. Universities will not receive income from
fees, and therefore, they will rely entirely on government funding. This requires
borrowing funds from other priorityareas, such as the health care system, to allocate
money to universities. For most countries, especially developing and underdeveloped
ones, this would not be a financially viable option.
Another point to consider is that providing free higher education to all people will tempt
many people to go to university, whether they are interested or not. In other words, rather
than taking ajob, some young people would prefer to get a degree to which they only apply
with little enthusiasm. This will not only be a waste of the country's financial resources, but
also a waste of human resources.
Finally, the best solution is to keep the university fees, but still offer scholarships to gifted
studentsfrom poor families. This ensures that talented and intelligent students who cannot
afford to pay fora college education continue to receive their education. As a result, society
will benefit if the right people are trained and valuable financial resources are not wasted.
To conclude, abolishing university tuition fees is impractical for many countries, but
providing freeplaces to certain students with limited financial resources is a much more
efficient use of a country's resources.
Q. Some people think that children should start school as early as possible, while others
believe that they should start school at the age of seven. Discuss both views and give your
own opinion?
Education plays an integral role in the life of every person. Some people think that children
should begin their formal education at a very early age whereas others disagree and
believe that it should not commence until they are aged seven. Personally, I believe that
later is better.
Those who favor an early start base this on several reasons. First, they believe that the
earlier a child begins to learn, the higher his intelligence will be. This is because they will
have an advantageover those who start later, who will lag behind. Another reason is that
children will learn to be competitive, independent and motivated as they strive to get the
best results and do their homework on their own. These are strong arguments in a world
that rewards the most successful people with the best work these days.
Despite these arguments, I believe that starting at age seven is the right choice. This is due
to the fact that overloading them with academic studies and trying to surpass others
simply leads to stress. This is not a good situation for the very young, who should be
encouraged to enjoy life rather than compete with their peers. In addition, focusing on play
programs at home or elsewhere
is most effective in developing cognitive skills. For instance, in some countries such as
Sweden andFinland, children start formal education later and they performed better in
school than in many other countries. Thus, there is clear evidence of its benefits.
To conclude, I believe that children should go to school later because they can learn more
throughplaying games and not through formal education. Formal education at an early age
is simply stressful and does not help children achieve higher grades in the long run.
Q. In some countries, the age gap between parents and children is greater than in the past.
Doyou think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
In today's world, while many people want to reduce the maturity gap between parents
and adolescents, others believe that this trend is a developmental advantage for the
young because they can live rich lives. For this reason, they can get better conditions
and opportunities in manyareas of life, such as public life, education and business.
Personally, I believe that the authoritiesshould not reduce this trend.
On the one hand, education is indeed the most important factor in raising a child. As a result,
manyparents could not afford the best school for their children. However, mature parents
can give this wonderful opportunity to their little ones. In addition, they can give advice to
the younger generation based on their own experience. For example, they can teach young
people how to behave, what skills to teach adolescents, and more.
On the other hand, it can be beneficial for young mothers to give birth at a young age, as
they will have a breadwinner as they grow up. Therefore, they may have a grandchild earlier
than those whoare engaged at an older age. Moreover, parents and children will be on the
same wavelength.
Accordingly, it gives them more opportunities such as common interests, hobbies and other
activities. For example, they might play a soccer match together.
To conclude, while many people strive to protect marriage at an older age, some people
feel that this is a negative trend as it can lead to a lack of common interests between
parents and children. However, I personally believe that participation in older age is a
positive trend, as people can givemany opportunities to their children.
Q. Some people believe that printed books are no longer necessary in this digital era as
all writings can be stored electronically. Others think that printed books still play an
crucial role.Discuss both perspectives and give your own opinion?
The popularity of paper books is falling sharply, nearing irrelevance. In my opinion, although
certainsegments of the population still value books, the transition to free online media is
inevitable.
The argument against this is that some people continue to pay for printed versions. These
are usually elderly people, and this only applies to the most famous books and newspapers.
For example, The New York Times continues to generate significant subscription revenue
and is one of the few magazines in the United States that currently publishes a daily paper
edition. Moreover, hard copies of books are still popular all over the world. The vast
majority of middle-aged and olderpeople like the texture and character of real books and
lack the technological know-how to download e-books. Even many young people prefer to
read paperback and hardcover books to reduce eye strain.
However, someday almost everyone will read exclusively online. The clearest evidence of
this can be seen in the number of publishers who have resigned to stop printing, such as
The Boston Globe, The Atlantic, and The Independent. Circulations of those still in print
have plummeted as people access the same news for free on mobile devices. The same
trend is slowly developing with e-booksdue to the growth of Amazon's online platforms.
Companies charging online subscriptions have found their readership stale as competitors
are willing to host free content and profit from targeted advertising. These are ingrained
habits of young people, and the complete disappearance of the print media is only a matter
of time.
To conclude, the rapid decline in publications cannot be stopped because reading habits
havechanged irrevocably. This means that websites must become as reliable and
responsible as newspapers.
Q. Some people think that newspaper is the best media to learn and get information from
whileothers believe that the internet is a better source. Discuss both perspectives and give
your own opinion.
Newspapers have been considered the most reliable source of news for over a century, but
in recent decades their influence has been supplanted by new forms of media. Some
people think these new news sources are better, but newspapers are much better in my
opinion because of theamount of time and research that authors put into their articles.
The primary reason many people prefer new media is because they deliver news faster on
a varietyof convenient platforms. The most prominent example of this is online news. The
vast majority of people receive news from Facebook and other social networks, which
collect articles from various online publishers, including in some cases online versions of
print newspapers. The problem here isthat websites are solely concerned with getting
more traffic and getting news as quickly as possible. Oftentimes, a website publishes
news quickly in order to get ahead of others before it is properly vetted or even thoroughly
analyzed. As a result, crowds of people click on links to entertain themselves for a moment
without critically assessing the credibility of the news. These articles are then circulated
online or by word of mouth, and false information spreads quickly.
Despite the ease of use of online media, the news that is printed in newspapers is in most
cases better researched and verified. Newspapers often devote entire departments to
long-term investigative journalism. A prime example of this is the Boston Globe's decades-
long investigationof sexual abuse by the Catholic Church. They interviewed the victims
thoroughly and collected convincing evidence that led to long-term reforms and
convictions of some people. They also published stories on the topic for over a year,
allowing detailed and thoughtful analysis of the problem, suggestions for solutions, and
articles on broader social implications. This type of reporting is a curse on the fast-paced
online media.
To conclude, even though the newspaper industry is dying, I believe they are more
informative andtrustworthy than the mostly online institutions that are replacing them. This
trend is irreversible and will have implications for the future of democracies around the
world as people become less informed.
Q. In many countries people have to go away from their family and friends to find the work .
Dothe advantages outweigh the disadvantages ?
The last few years have experienced burgeoning growth in the field of moving abroad
for higher wages job and better lifestyle, which enables people to work and live in any
part of the world. Inmy opinion, it has many advantages over the minor disadvantages it
can bring.
Firstly, it provides better job opportunities and thus helps to improve a person's standard of
living.Consequently, their children also get access to better amenities, which also benefits
future generations. Second, people around the world are uniting, which opens the way for
them to betterunderstand the world. Distance is no longer an obstacle for people on their
way to heights.
Another point to keep in mind is that when people flock to a specific location to meet their
needs,basic facilities will evolve.
Admittedly, when people work and settle abroad, it has a detrimental effect on society.
People seem to ignore cultural values and instead of serving their country, they are guided
by the monetary benefits offered by the foreign country. As people move to different parts
of the world, society as a whole becomes increasingly disjointed and fragmented. Moreover,
instead of caring fortheir grandparents, children of immigrant families are taken care of by
baby sitters and after-schoolchild care.
Q. It is better to learn how people lived in the past through films and videos than from
writtendocuments. To what extent do you agree or disagree with the given statements?
Some believe that learning about the past is best done through written documents, while
others believe that video is more accurate. In my opinion, recent films can be especially
useful, but mostof the information about the past is contained in documents.
Those who advocate videos can point out their accuracy. Images turn every observation
into a first-hand account. For example, since the 1960s, there are documentaries and home
videos showing how people lived. After watching these films, the social anthropologist can
discover more than superficial content. They can see how people are talking to each other
in real life, what products they use, and they can catch fashion and how people talk. To
better understand their subject, historians are ready to do anything for the opportunity to
make a similar film about the ancient Greeks or Romans.
However, video is limited, especially in terms of access to important people and events
from the past. This may show how ordinary people behaved, but the facts of what
happened behind the scenes are contained in notes, service memos, letters and official
documents at first hand. Robert Caro's comprehensive four-volume biography of Lyndon
Johnson is a good example of this. As youknow, a meticulous writer, he transfused
thousands of documents, ranging from personal diaries and correspondence to laws and
regulations issued at that time. Gradually, a good observer of thepast is able to piece
together disparate pieces of information into a narrative that approaches thetruth. There
simply does not exist the same repository of video evidence from any period to allowsuch
a complete understanding of individuals or historical periods.
To conclude, it should be noted that the value of film may increase in the future, but
documents still provide a better understanding of the past. It's important to remember that
the entire story isspeculation, but the best stories are closely related to the facts.
Q. Some people argue that the use of animals in medical research for the benefit of
humans isacceptable, while others claim that it is wrong. Discuss both views and give your
opinion?
When it comes to animal testing, there is a growing debate about whether researchers
should conduct research at the expense of animals for the benefit of humans. While some
people arguethat this is ethically wrong and unacceptable, I believe their sacrifices must
continue to create a better and healthier world.
Many animal lovers argue that researchers / scientists should stop using living things for
experiments, as they believe that it is morally wrong and cruel and humans are not
allowed to useother organisms to their advantage. In addition, they believe there are
several alternative ways toreplace these animals in tests. For instance, a computer
program that shows the suitability of a new drug for the human immune system can be
used for medical research. Thus, animals will no longer suffer from medical
experimentation, and humans will still be able to reap the benefits of medical advances.
However, animals have made a significant contribution to improving health, and there is no
alternative method yet that can provide the same results as animals in medical research.
Although some computer programs are used to conduct clinical trials, their results are often
ineffective whenthe drug is administered to humans. What's more, while humans benefit
from animal experimentation, other forms of wildlife benefit from the test results as well, as
these animals can also suffer from similar diseases that humans experience, such as
cancer and asthma.
To conclude, there are compelling arguments for and against animal testing. Although the
exploitation of the lives of these animals seems brutal, their sacrifices are necessary for the
long-term survival of humans and other living organisms.
Q. Popular hobbies and interests change over time to time and are more a reflection of
fashionsand trends than an indication of what people really want to do in their spare time.
To what extent do you agree with this given statement?
It is true that individuals hobbies and interests change according to the latest trends and
fashions. They follow these hobbies and interests for the sake of popularity, not for personal
pleasure. To some extent, I agree with the statements, but there are some new hobbies that
people follow because they enjoy this activity.
To commence with, many people change their hobby for the sake of popularity. People
follow andpractice popular activities to show that they exist and keep up with the latest
trends, but they do not really have a passion for it. For example, mountain biking has
recently become a popular activity in Indonesia and many people follow it. While some of
them ride mountain bikes because they enjoy sports, others do it to show that they are
following the current trend and to show that they have the latest bike.
On the other hand, there are few other people who change their interests and hobbies
because they enjoy these new activities. These new hobbies may be the latest trend, but
these people arechanging their interest because they have a huge passion for these
pursuits. In addition, these hobbies may have been invented recently, so no one has been
involved in these hobbies in the past.
To conclude, it should be noted that people's hobbies and interests sometimes change. Up
to a point, I agree that some people change their hobbies following a trend, but there are
others whochange their interests because they enjoy a new activity. Personally, I believe
that a hobby is a private matter for everyone, and we should not keep an eye on what is
popular in society and should do what we really like.
To inaugurate with, the growth in consumer goods production harms the environment in
two ways:chemical by-products of the manufacturing process and mass production of
disposable goods. The more goods are produced, the more toxic waste and emissions are
released from factories into nature. Water sources are polluted, and the air is highly
polluted, which leads to the death of manymarine and terrestrial animals. In addition, more
and more disposable products are being introduced to meet the ever-growing needs of
customers, most of which are not biodegradable.
Despite their short lifespan, these products can remain waste products for thousands of
years, turning our planet into a huge landfill and threatening the habitats of all living things.
To conclude, there are two main reasons why the environment is seriously affected by the
growthin consumer goods production. To solve this problem, governments and
companies must join forces to make production lines cleaner by switching to greener
materials.

Q. In many nations, the percentage of older people is steadily increasing. Does this trend
havemore positive or negative effect on the society?
It is true that the medical world has changed radically over the past two to three decades.
However, this has created one threatening problem in that, in many countries, the number
of elderly people in the country is growing. The essay will discuss the impact of this
practice on theindividual and nation by discussing the positive and dark sides of the
arguments in the next paragraph.
To inaugurate with, the fact that there are many merits of a pensioners who has risen in the
country. The foremost merit is that these retirees have life experience and skills. In
addition, the junior can take advantage of their help and gain experience in a particular job.
For example, if an organization has a balance of young and old, then it will easily succeed
with experience, an experienced senior and a young person with a dynamic character.
Moreover, in many families, grandchildren will raise grandparents at the shelter, who
inculcate certain cultures and beliefs that
help in raising a child. As a result, the presence of the elders helps the younger in the
organizational development and upbringing of his children.
On the other hand, compared to the positive effect, there are few negative impact. The first
disadvantage is fewer job opportunities, as most of them are occupied by elders. So, when
the blooming ones have finished their graduation by this time, there are no more vacancies,
since the elder has already taken this place. For instance, having an academic background
and ability, if someone fails to get the expected position, will lead to the fact that he will
engage in delinquent activities. Moreover, young people should spend more of their
earnings on the health of their parents, which attracts more attention of young people. Thus,
budding must suffer from stress andfinancial problems.
In conclusion, there are more positives points rather than negative ones since the
youngsters receives more support and guidance from the elder through his experience. It
depends on peoplehow they think.
Q. More and more people today are using computers and electronic devices to access
information. Thus, there is no longer any need to print newspapers, books or magazines.
To whatextent do you agree or disagree?
The contemporary era is an era of technology, with the increasing popularity of new age /
electronic media, traditional newspapers seem to many less attractive and unnecessary. I
believethat this trend is inevitable; however, this does not mean that print media have
become redundant.
Another reason why print newspapers are no longer needed is that they have monotonous
information and the various functions of digital news are more interesting and
personalized. An online news board gives viewers the opportunity to exchange views on
how they perceive news events; With digital news notifications, subscribers can stay up-to-
date with the latest informationso they never miss a single important news item. All of
these functions cannot be found in print newspapers because they simply display
information through text and photographs.
On the other hand, some people may prefer to read newspapers in the traditional way
because print newspapers are more authoritative in terms of the accuracy of the
information. Publishing anewspaper issue requires a number of processes, such as on-site
gathering of information by journalists and multiple proofreading of reports by editors.
These energetic steps make news
reliable to a large extent. On the contrary, most of the online news is untrue because every
Internet user can publish news and make it go viral. Readers of this kind of wrong
information willbe misled.
In conclusion, print newspapers are still needed because of their inherent strengths that
onlinemedia lack. They are a trusted source of authentic news and information. They may
lack the versatility of online media, but that doesn't mean they aren't needed.
Q. The best way to reduce crime among youngsters is to teach parents good parenting
skills. Doyou agree or disagree?
Any action that harms another person or group of people is considered a crime. Crimes
are committed with the intent to intentionally harm someone. The crime rate among young
offendersis definitely on the rise, and the researchers say that crime among young people
under the age of 18 has risen by more than 52%. Many believe that this is purely the result
of poor parenting and that parents need to be taught skills and abilities better parenting.
But I don't totally blame them.
We live in a time and place where society plays an important role in personality formation.
Social pressures have both positive and negative effects on the younger generation, as
they tend to perceive everything as a sponge. The modern generation has access to a
multitude of digital devices with which they can watch or share anything according to their
whims and fantasies. Eventoday, the entertainment industry has become carelessly
checking the content they broadcast andlabeling it as "U". Genres such as horror, science
fiction, and more now show scenes of cold- blooded murder, rape, and other crimes and
are treated as yet another piece of the film. News broadcasting channels are no better as
they show disturbing content including videos, photos, controversial interviews that haunt
young minds and make them ruthless.
Some dictators may believe that parents have sole control over their children and that
better parenting skills will make them better children. Parents can influence children to a
certain extentand can instill a good value system in their child, but other factors, such as
friends, bad company, society, digital media, also play a vital role in creating dramatic
changes in a child's thinking.
To conclude, I disagree with the idea that parenting education to parents is the only way to
reducecrime rates among young offenders. However, it can be one step towards achieving
the goal of creating a better thought process in our younger generation.
Q. Increasing fuel prices is the best way to tackle growing traffic and pollution problems.
To whatextent do you agree or disagree with this statement? What other measures do you
think can be effective?
Traffic congestion and environmental pollution have become serious problems around the
world. Pollution is especially severe in big cities. While it is possible that higher gasoline
prices will largely
solve traffic and pollution problems, higher oil prices are not the best solution. However, I
believethat other measures are more effective.
The major reason why raising the fuel prices is not the right solution is that it is a short-
term measure. While this may reduce the number of vehicles on the road, it will have a
significant impact on the prices of food and other goods. For example, in India, my home
country, everythingdepends on transportation. If gasoline prices rise, market prices will rise
as well. This will lead to inflation in the market, which will have a big impact on how much
people end up paying for even apiece of bread.
The best solution is to find measures that work in the long run. For instance, increasing
investmentin alternative fuels and improving public transport are more effective measures
than raising gasoline prices. Traffic and pollution problems will not be solved until people
start using public transport. For this reason, the government should make public transport
accessible at low cost andban the movement of cars from city centers.
In conclusion, this essay discussed how population growth and deteriorating air quality
have forced governments and populations to embrace change and reduce the use of
private transport.
However, in my opinion, increasing the cost of gasoline is not the best solution for
traffic jams.Instead of taking this drastic measure, governments should invest in public
transport and cleanfuels.
Q. Some believe that technology has made our lives too complex and the solution is to
lead asimpler life without technology. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
The way we live today is very different from how our ancestors lived fifty or sixty years ago.
Thanksto modern technologies, today we have almost all the amenities necessary for a
comfortable life. Afair amount of people believe that modern technology has made our lives
more difficult. They believe that we must learn to end this. Is it possible? Let's figure it out.
Modern technology may have made our lives more difficult, but it must be admitted that they
haveimproved our lives in several other ways. For example, cars and buses have made
commuting to work easier. Electricity literally brightened our lives. The air conditioner made
the summer months bearable. Cell phones and the Internet allow us to stay connected
wherever we are. Household appliances are a boon for housewives. Technology has also
dramatically improved our productivity.
On the other hand, technology has also made our lives difficult. There is no escape from a
permanent connection. Before the advent of mobile phones and the Internet, taking a break
was much easier. People just had to pack their bags and go to the place where they like to
relax. Now that mobile phone terminals are available in almost all parts of the world, people
can never escape work or problems. Even on family vacations, few people can resist the
temptation to check their work email. This need to constantly stay connected only made our
life worse. Modern technology has also made us physically inactive and prone to developing
a number of lifestyle-related diseases.
Does this mean that we must do without modern technology? By the way, it is not as easy
as it sounds. Technology is addictive. It is not easy to live without the technological
innovation that we are used to enjoying. Can anyone now imagine a world where we don't
have access to electricity ortelephone? The truth is we can't.
In conclusion, after analyzing the situation, it seems that although modern technologies
havecomplicated our lives, we cannot do without them. What we need to do is use it
responsibly.
Q. When employers choose the best person for a job they should consider personal
qualities, rather than qualifications and experience. To what extent do you agree or
disagree?
According to some people, in the recruiting process, a recruiter should pay attention to the
personal qualities of applicants, and not to their experience and qualifications. I disagree
with this view because a qualified candidate has the right set of skills and understanding
that an unqualifiedperson might lack despite being friendly. Secondly, an experienced
person can bring new technological advances and has a lot to offer the organization. I will
support my point in the following paragraphs.
First of all, a highly skilled person has the right set of skills and knowledge to get a job.
Since this is a world of specialization, recruiters prefer to find / assign someone with
multiple skills rather than interpersonal qualities. For example, corporations tend to only
hire people who have a degree in aparticular field because they believe that person can do
a better job than a less skilled person.
Moreover, some recruiters believe that an experienced candidate can bring new
technological advancements to an organization. All the methodologies and processes that
an experienced employee brings with him help the firm improve its current business process
for more profit. Forexample, startups prefer to hire people familiar with their competitors'
business models.
Admittedly, people with good temperaments are good at communicating with customers.
Personally, I believe that personal qualities are critical only in positions that require a lot of
publicinteraction. For the back-end, work experience and academic qualifications are more
important.
To conclude, it is clear that the degree holder has the requisite set of skills and know-how to
betterfulfill their responsibilities. Moreover, a seasoned champion may come up with a new
formula for maximizing the company's profits. Friendly personality traits are definitely
helpful; however, they never replace academic qualifications or work experience.
Given that mankind will face population explosion and land crisis, whether old buildings should
be preserved better or not is an inevitable issue. As for some people, they believe that people
should pay more attention to protecting certain old buildings. In my views, old buildings are
worth conserving unless they have historical values. The consequence of it unleashes
tremendous benefits to the country and their citizens.
Firstly, in terms of culture, they demonstrate cultural deposits of the country. Take the Imperial
Palace for example, its abound of antiques which are handed down from the ancestors,
including sophisticated handicrafts 、 precious calligraphy and painting works. The whole
palace symbolizes great part of Chinese culture, and this gives people a feeling of belongings.
From another aspect, historical buildings fulfill the purpose of education. These buildings were
constructed centuries ago . It could connect people to the past so that people can gain a
better understanding of the history. Additionally, as a kind of building, they have distinctive
styles which could give inspiration to architects.
Last but not least, they have economic merits. Generally, based on the cultural and
educational edges, they become tourist attractions and appeal to people from all over the
world. Undoubtedly, they promote tourist industry of the country. Moreover, they give impetus
to other industries. For instance, various restaurants cluster around them. The reason why
these restaurants exist and prosper is that historical buildings attract a number of people all
year round. It can be said that they play vital roles in promoting economic development.
In conclusion, historical buildings are of great benefits to the country and people.
