HTF Analyst Steps

1. Market Structure:

• ITH/ITL (Intermediate Term High/ Intermediate Term Low)


• STH/STL (Short Term High/ Short Term Low)
• When are Short Term Ranges likely to get respected?
• When are Intermediate Term Ranges likely to get respected?
• Where should you draw your Dealing Range (P/D levels)?
• Case Study: Find examples of ITH/ITL and STH/STL

2. Order Flow:

• If we’re going higher, where will we likely go higher from?


• Invalidation Levels.
• PDA to PDA.
• Entry Time Frame has to be in context of Time Frame ABOVE.
• Order Flow is nearby Price Action on the respective Time Frame.

• What is Order Flow? (1st line of Defense)


• Where would Order Flow gets invalidated? (Last line of Defense)
• What are the Early Signs of Order Flow getting Invalidated?
• How are we moving from HTF Premium to HTF Discount and Vice Versa?

3. Candle Science:

• Focus on the next candle. Always.


• Failure to Displace: If the candle fails to close above or below then we can
predict the next candle.
• Respecting (Wicking), Disrespecting (Body Close)
• If it Respects then what can we expect for the Next Candle?
• If it Disrespects then what can we expect for the Next Candle?
• Does Disrespecting mean that we switch Bias instantly?

4. Routine:

• Your own Unique routine (Individual Routine Patterns)


• Simple sentences you tell yourself

- What is the current Order Flow?


- Are we going Higher to go Lower or going Lower to go Higher?
- If we’re going Higher or Lower, where will we likely go Higher or
Lower from?
5. Journal:

• Pre and Post Market Analysis.


• Market Reviews.
• Journal Before, During and After the Trade.

6. NFP, CPI, FOMC Exercise:

• Low Probability Conditions: We do not Execute on this day!


• Live Tape Reading (Major Pairs XXX/USD)
• Forward testing by following the step to get to a HTF DOL.
• Forecasting and Journaling the moves once the High Impact News drop and
What you Expected to happen?
• Journal what happened?

7. Deep Work Sessions:

• Open a chart.
• Follow your steps on how to get to a HTF DOL.
• Study how each next candle is forming in hindsight.
• Use replay tool (optional).
