Ectopia Lentis and Glaucoma: Case Review

This study reviewed 100 cases of ectopia lentis (displaced crystalline lens) with glaucoma to examine the clinical profile, types of glaucoma, management approaches, and visual prognosis. The main types of glaucoma observed were pupillary block glaucoma in 26.92% of eyes, angle anomaly glaucoma in 18.46% of eyes, and glaucoma due to lens in the anterior chamber in 16.92% of eyes. Surgical intervention was required in 87.69% of eyes, with procedures including peripheral iridectomy, trabeculectomy, phacotrabeculectomy, lensectomy, and lensectomy with vitrectomy. After treatment, glau
