َويل 1– ٍل ُه َمزَ ةٍ لُّ َمزَ ة
ٍِّ َويْلٍ ِّل ُك

If these following habits show in the speech, attitude or body language of a person, then that
person is a Humaz or a Lumaz.

excessive love for it.
• He does not spend it for use and
service to those in need.
• He is so attracted in stocking and
counting the wealth that he pays no
attention to death.

“He thinks that his wealth will make him live forever”

8-ٍص َدة َ ِّإنَّ َها
“Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them”
ٍع َمدٍ ُّم َم َّد َدة
َ 9-ٍع َمدٍ ُّم َم َّد َدة
It has several meanings

1. Gate of Hell will be close and sky-high “In extended columns”

heights appearing as though they were
tall columns.
The Quran is the infallible weapon which destroys the evil and shakes the hearts of enemies.
On the other hand, it fills the believers with courage and determination to persevere. It
defends the believers against their enemies’ insults and shows them that Allah knows and
hates what is inflicted on them.
Allah will punish the wrongdoer
This is enough to elevate believers’ souls and make them feel
their position is high above the wicked.
