Story of Woli xo Sa
Theme: Adze (witchraft)/Birds, Envy, The Need for Protection, Need to Appease
the witches.

Once upon a time there was poverty in the land of seeds because everyone they
got planted the birds (witches) will come and eat them. So the Ayure seed went
to consult a Bokor to see what it can do to overcome them. Afa told it that it
needs to protect itself spiritually more and be using a special pomade. The Ayure
complied. In time the birds came back again and swallowed the seeds it planted.
However, the spiritual preparations made the Ayure seed get fang like claws
which disturbed the birds. It destroyed their stomach and they had to vomit it out.
This is why even birds that eat seeds don’t touch Ayure. Because it is protected.

This story talks about the need to be spiritually protected against witchcraft and
envy from others. Without this, the person will not be able to progress in life
similar to how the Ayure seed only progressed after it protected itself. It also talks
about serious witchcraft that is affecting the person negatively. It also warns of
stomach problems and illnesses.
