1. Complete the sentences with the comparative form of the adjectives in brackets.

2. Select the correct alternative.

a) Granada is usually the hotest/hottest city in Spain in summer.

3 Complete the text with the correct form of the adjectives in brackets.

Venezuela is the most exciting (exciting) country to visit. It has the longest (long) waterfall
and the highest (high) flat-topped mountain in the world. It is most interesting (interesting) place to go on
holiday. The people are friendlier (friendly) than here but the kindest (kind) people live outside of
the capital. Caracas is the busiest (busy) city in the country. It also has the best (good) salsa clubs!
Going dancing there was more exciting (exciting) than at home. I loved it!

4. Complete the sentences with the words in the box.

a) The Sydney Opera House is a famous building in Australia.


b) My father goes to the market every day to buy fresh fruit and vegetables.
