CONCEPT: One of the major teachings of Osho is silence that can
be achieved through meditation. Man’s speech, actions and
dialogues are related to observe that silence. The building was
designed to express this principle of silence.

SITE ZONING
• ZONE 1: It consists of the auditorium hall, shopping
galleria, and guest house.
• ZONE 2: It consists of an administration block, club, and
recreational hall
• ZONE 3: It consists of workshops, Multiversity, Halls,
accommodation rooms, guest house, overlooking the Zen
gardens.
• Cafes and eating areas are distributed In Zone 1. 2 and 3.
The entire built forms In elegant block color are
surrounded by beautiful lush green picturesque setting
with waterfalls, water bodies, statues of tropical Buddha
and gardens thus forming paradise an on earth.
MATERIAL
• The walls were made of brick which were cladded with
kota stone.
• Marble was the main material used in the ashram.
• The purpose to use marble was to keep the surroundings
cool.
• The color of the pyramid is black. The reason behind it is
to stop people from distracting while meditating.
DESIGN LANGUAGE
• In the ashram mainly black , gray and green colors have
been used The reason behind using this color was that the
people coming there for meditation do not get distracted
seeing different colors in the surroundings

OSHO AUDITORIUM:
• The vast soundproof pyramid, with space for thousand people to sit
together, may well be the only one of its size in the whole world which is
used for meditation.
• To go inside you need to walk over a bridge, and it seems as if the
structure itself is emerging out of the water this is to remind you to “drop
your mind” before entering.

SITE CONTEXT: As it links the venue, the site chosen for this project acts good for
the nearest neighborhood, the town, and nature on the other side. From these
four gardens, the key guests, the Aurovilians, have so far not had any important
realizations.

white carpeting.

INTRODUCTION:
• The Lotus temple is due to its flower like shape. Lotus temple is also known
by the “BAHAI House of worship/ BAHAI FAITH”.
• The Temple are well known for their architectural splendor and the
temple constructed in Delhi is a continuation of this rich tradition.
• This is prominent attraction in Delhi.
• It was completed in 1986 and serves as the mother temple of the India
subcontinent. The temple structure like as the half open lotus flower,
afloat surrounded by its leaves.
• The temple is open to people of all cultures, faiths, and languages. It is
the symbol of a United India.
• On average, 8,000 to 10,000 people visit the Bahai House of Worship
each day. These visitors have admired its universal design in the form of a
lotus and have been fascinated by the Teachings of the Bah Faith,
especially its tenets of the Oneness of God, the Oneness of Religions, and
the Oneness of Mankind.
